"You got the right value for the resultant, but it's going in the wrong direction," I point out to Tarry.
"Why do I need to know this again," he asked me, his sparkly blue eyes dancing across his study questions.
We were currently sitting in the school's library during lunch. I've been tutoring Tarry in physics for two weeks now. He had a test coming up that he had to prepare for and since I have nothing to do in school, I took up the task.
It was also because I could skip lunch and avoid Alaric this way. I also skipped the classes I had with him.
Pathetic, I know, but I already had to deal with seeing him and Gianna at the pack house. I didn't feel like dealing with them here as well.
You heard correctly. The frosty bitch decided to transfer schools and somehow was able to get every class with him. She mostly loved to make out with him during lunch, so the whole school could know who he belongs to.
"Let's just take a break. You've got the hang of everything. You just need to work on it a little bit more." He breathes out a sigh and closes his journal.
"You seem distracted. Want to talk about it?" Tarry and I have kept our relationship friendly since that time we kissed. I guess we were just more comfortable as friends. There was nothing weird between us and it was just better this way.
"Just got alot on my mind, but I'm ok."
"About Alaric and his new girlfriend?" I turn around in shock. "It's pretty obvious."
"Are you guys having THAT conversation? Geez, why does everyone keep bringing that up? I'm pretty sure she's had enough of sharing her feeling." Giovanni comes out of nowhere and joins the conversation, taking a seat at our table.
"Hi, Giovanni," Tarry answers, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"You know you love me pretty boy," Gio sends a wink to Tarry.
I know Tarry tries to hide it, but I see a slight tint of red color his cheeks.
"Te amo, cum non erubuit," Gio speaks Latin. I laugh at what he says because I understand, but Tarry just looks confused. Gio simply said he loves it when Tarry blushes.
Gio was such a flirt. I could tell since the first day we met. He didn't care who it was, he just likes to make people feel flustered.
And he was really bold about it.
"What did he say," Tarry asks. Gio gets up from his seat and walks over to where Tarry is and crouches down by his ear.
"Do you really wanna know," Gio asks, his lips were brushing against Tarry's ear and down his neck. I watch Tarry's breathe hitch in his throat.
"Alright, I'm leaving now." Tarry got up from his seat and scurried out of the library.
Gio bursts out laughing.
"Gio, you gotta stop torturing my friends."
"Would you rather I torture you," he asks, raising an eyebrow and a smirk growing on his lips.
"That won't work on me. I'm used to you now." Gio frowns.
"Fine. Just make sure you invite pretty boy to my party tonight. If he doesn't show up, tell him there will be consequences."
I just nod my head and silently pray for Tarry.
Poor guy didn't sign up for this.
Gio was way more pleasant to be around compared to his sister, that's for sure. He was throwing a party tonight to meet new people since his sister forced him to transfer schools as well.
To my surprise, he and Gianna weren't close and they didn't get along. There was a difference between siblings fighting and the hatred the twins had for each other.
"You plan on being there too, right?"
"Yeah. I can't remember the last time I've been out for fun."
"Great. Now you can get your mind off of itty bitty Alaric and his frosty companion." Gio grabs my arm and leads me to my next class.
"I totally forgot about them," I tell him, letting him drag me along.
"You sure about that? You've been digging your nails into the palm of your hands since this morning and whenever they're brung up in conversation, you dig them in deeper."
I look down at my hands to see that there was already dried up blood under my fingernails and new blood coming from the prints in my palms.
"You might want to run now. Alaric is heading this way." I looked up into the crowd and could see Alaric weaving through students, heading towards us. I started to panic, but then I got an idea.
"Feel like going shopping," I ask Gio, already knowing the answer.
"Hell, yeah. Let's get out of here." Before Alaric can reach us, Gianna stops him in his tracks. I watch her give him a kiss on the cheek as i walk out the main front door, and our eyes meet at the last moment.
I can see pain in his eyes.
I almost felt bad for him.
