"I kind of wish we weren't friends right now."
I turned around from the mirror to see Gio drooling.
"Shut up. The outfit doesn't look THAT good on me."
The trip to the mall awarded me with the perfect outfit for the party. The top was a long sleeve, off the shoulder, sparkly black top. The skirt had a matching pattern. It was long and had a split on the side, exposing my left leg. My new black, tie up, high heels complimented the outfit and my hair was in its natural curls. Some accessories and light makeup finished it off.
"You look amazing. You better be glad we're friends because if we weren't, you wouldn't have made it out of this room."
"Don't make me call your mom up here," I warn him.
"Did someone summon me?" The door opens and Hailey walks in. "Oh, you look gorgeous honey." The twins mother was a beautiful lady, which was not surprising considering her kids looked like models.
I could see they got their blue eyes from her, but their hair color was definitely from their father. She had chesnaught, brown hair with highlights towards the bottom. She was also very tall just like her kids.
"Thank you."
"Is everything ready downstairs," Gio asks his mom.
"Yes. Your father and I will be leaving soon. We know you kids drink your booze, but please be responsible and clean up your mess. Make sure everyone gets home safe. The security will make sure that anyone that looks like they can't drive or looks drunk takes an uber home or something."
"No problem, but could we possibly throw Gianna out?" Hailey gives her son a stern glare and he gives a sigh in defeat. "Alright. I won't throw her out."
"And no trying to catch her head on fire." Gio holds his hands up.
"I only tried doing that once."
"Hailey, it's time to go," we heard Markus yell from downstairs. We all made our way down and saw suitcases in the middle of the hall.
"I thought you guys were only leaving for tonight," I say.
"Business trip up north. Being on the highest court has its duties," Markus answers.
"We should be back by the end of the week. Your welcome to stay over whenever you want. Giovanni sure does need a babysitter," Hailey says to me and I laugh.
"I do not need a babysitter."
"Lets just go before these kids start showing up." They wave bye to us.
I still wondered how the whole family was so nice, but Gianna was a devil incarnation.
I take a look at the decorations around the house in awe.
"Your mom went all out."
"So you can admire the decor, but you can't admire me? Why can't you just appreciate me?" Gio was full on fake crying.
"You look amazing, Gio. If we weren't friends, I would've totally let you keep me upstairs in your bedroom," I tell him, trying to cheer him up, although I was joking. I watched a smile spread across his face immediately.
"Stop being such a flirt, Anne."
The first ring of the bell came from the door and the party began.
The party was in full swing.
I was drunk off my ass and the girls were around me having a good time. I think almost the whole school was here and everyone was being themselves.
"Anne, where's Tarry," I hear Gio shout over the music.
"He told me not to tell you. He's hiding," I yell back, laughing.
"That boy. Doesn't he know that just makes me want him more? I like a challenge," Gio says and races off.
I take another shot from the bottle of liquor Jaisley has been carrying around and grind on the guy behind me.
"You sure you don't want to slow down on the drinking," Chris asks me.
"W-what are you talking about? *hiccup* I-I'm just *hiccup* getting started." I turn around to my dancing partner and we pull closer to each other.
My eye catches something moving in the distance and make eye contact with Alaric.
Seems like the perfect time to give him a taste of his own medicine.
I keep eye contact with him as I graze my lips over the strangers neck. I watch Alaric clench his jaw. When lips move up to the strangers lips, Alaric walks out of the back door of the house.
"Your such a tease," I here the stranger say, but I just wink and walk away from him.
"What are you planning, Anne? The look in your eyes are scaring me," Hanna says.
"I'm just going to chill by the pool," I tell her. The other girls look at me crazy as I headed for the back door. I could barely walk without tripping, but I held onto the wall to keep my balance.
When I got outside, the cold air pinched my skin. There were people in the pool and people standing around it, conversing. You could still hear the music from out here.
"You sure you want to be out here, Anne? It's really cold," Chris tries to convince me, but my eyes land on its target.
"Ughh, look what the cat dragged in," I here Gianna say.
"Actually, we're outside," Jaisley answers her, taking a sip from the bottle in her hand.
"No one asked you." I watched Jaisley's face grow in excitement from the comeback Gianna gave her. She loved a reason to intimidate people and Gianna just gave her one.
But before Jaisley could get back at Gianna, her body was thrown away from Alaric and into the pool.
I promise I didn't do it.
"I'm going to kill you Giovanni!" We all looked up at Gio to see him laughing.
"She was ruining my vibe. Plus, mom never said I couldn't throw her in the pool. Can someone please tell me where Tarry is now.?I did you guys a favor."
"Game room in the basement," we all said at the same time.
Gio rushes into the house like a little kid and Gianna stomps off like a baby, I'm guessing to her room. Alaric tried to follow her, but he stopped in his tracks when he heard the whistling guys by the pool.
He turned to see that I was slowly slipping my skirt off. My top was already off, but nothing major was on display. I might be drunk, but I still have dignity. I was getting ready to jump into the pool.
For a moment, I see his eyes glowing hazel, but in the next, I'm being picked up and covered by a towel.
"What are you doing," I ask him, starting to feel nauseous now the my feet aren't touching the ground.
"Damn it, Anne! You're making this really hard for me." His tone was angry, but I wasn't scared. I was happy to get a reaction out of him.
"Why are you so mad, Ricky," I ask him in a soft, seductive voice. I feel his back stiffen and he lets me back down on my feet. I notice that now we're inside a guest bedroom.
"You're driving me insane. First you go around kissing guys and now you're taking off your clothes for them? They don't deserve to see you like that." Alaric was pacing back and forth across the room.
"Why do you care? I don't say anything when you play tongue hockey with Gianna." Alaric pushes me against the wall and cages me in.
"Because your mine," he growls out. His lips slam down on mines before I can protest, but I don't stop him. I join the kiss.
He moves down to my neck and before I realize what he's doing, he bites down on the skin between my neck and shoulder, making me moan out in painful pleasure.
This feeling rushes through me and I watch him detach from my neck. My head started spinning and he was looking at me with worry. He seemed to have snapped out of his trance.
"Are you ok, Anne?"
Before I can stop myself, I throw up on the ground and black out.
