Chapter 11

I went to Mr. Shark's floor to investigate. The sharks paid me no mind. They didn't seem to consider me an intruder. Thank goodness.

I began scanning the area for anything that might've been a clue. It wasn't long until I found a pink envelope sitting there in plain sight. It wasn't sealed, so I looked at the card inside.

"I have Butterfly." It said. Signed by Lady Jellyfish.

Mr. Dog's hunch was right. He must have fallen into a trap.

Maybe Lady Jellyfish left the note while I was away at school, so Mr. Shark had no way of checking if I was really abducted or not.

I took the card and envelope with me. I rode the elevator all the way down to the first floor.

"Prof. Dog!" I ran to him and showed him the envelope. He was still in the lobby with his book.

"Oh my! This is simply terrible, woof!" Prof. Dog said after taking a look at the note.

"What do we do?" I asked.
