Well actually, my name is really Cho. My name means 'Butterfly', so people started calling me that. Since when? I don't remember.

I think the name suits me. Butterflies silently flutter about from flower to flower, watching the world unfold as time moves forward. And keeping distance from interfering in the business of others.

That is the kind of person I am."

Mr. Shark and Miss Butterfly

"You need some rest, Cho. Go ahead and sleep. I'll just be here reading one of Prof. Dog's books." He sat on his bed beside me.


"I don't want to sleep yet though," I said while looking sideways out of embarrassment. What am I even saying?


"Then what do you feel like doing?" Isuru asked.


"I don't know really. I just know I don't feel like sleeping yet."


"I see." He started staring at me from head to toe. I began feeling uncomfortable from being stared at.


"Isuru?" I wanted him to stop dissecting me with his gaze. 


He moved his head closer to mine and kissed me slowly. I felt a sudden jolt the moment our lips met. The unwanted anxiety from before turned into a different kind of anxiety. Something more positive and exciting.


"Do you mind if I experiment for a bit?" he asked.


Isuru began the first of his series of experiments by licking my ear. It was so sudden and unexpected that I accidentally let out a whimper.
