By relying on emergency lights, dozens of Hercules made night landings. The Dozens of Hercules are carrying two Task Forces who will be involved in Operation Gemini.

The first task force was TF Pollux, with CQB Company and Air Mobile Company as a backbone. TF Pollux's mission was to storm the residence of the northern coalition leader and capture as many key personnel as possible. TF Pollux was led by Major Norland of the CQB Company.

As soon as Hercules landed, all TF Pollux personnel immediately boarded the truck that would take them to FOC South 860.

The second Task Force was TF Castor, with 62 M1151 Ripper from the cavalry element as a backbone, followed by artillery elements and various supporting assets.  TF Castor will take part as a land element in the Gunboat Diplomacy, led directly by Col. Meyer, the third-highest position holder on GCG.

While greeting Vex, Col. Meyer said.

"In the previous conflict it seemed we were too soft."

Vex smiled before answering.

"The previous conflict was not a battle, but an exercise with live targets."

Col. Meyer chuckled for a moment before saying.

"This time, make sure we get a chance to level a fort or two."

"Wilco Brother."

Col. Meyer then boarded a LAV Command, and TF Castor's convoy immediately began the journey to Fort Cambia.

Vex himself then got into one of the trucks carrying TF Pollux personnel, and on the way to FOC South 860 he received a report that ACG's assets had also just arrived safely at Fort Cambia and FOC South 860.

After breakfast, Vex immediately briefed the officers, CQB Company team leaders, ACG pilots and copilots, and other key personnel in TF Pollux.

TF Pollux's will kidnap the Northern Coalition Leader from their respective residences, then take them to Magwurt Castle for interrogation.

The three target complexes are 200-220 km from Fort Cambia. So the fort will be a point of departure considering the AH-1Z combat radius that will guard the Chinook is only 231 km.

TF Pollux will be divided into three teams.  Red Pollux will kidnap the leaders of the Liqua Region. Blue Pollux will visit the Tarai Region, and Green Pollux which will visit the Darpha Region.

Each team consists of three sub-teams with details, 6 CQB Company personnel who will eliminate bodyguards around the target and execute the kidnapping, 18 CQB Company personnel who will secure the perimeter around the target, and 54 Air Mobile Company personnel who will isolate hostile QRF from outside the complex.

Over the past few months, IDG personnel have succeeded in placing spies in the residence of the North Coalition leader, and already obtains layout of the complex, patterns and strength of the guard as well as the habits of the target.

Since last night, Logistic & Support Group personnel have started to build a mock-up of the target complex and are planned to be completed this afternoon. Until the next five days each team will stay, sleep, and train at the complex.

Meanwhile, the final selection between the personnel who will execute the mission and those who will be reservists will be carried out two hours before the shift to Fort Cambia.

Vex pauses for a moment so that the briefing participants can digest his explanation before continuing.

"Until the time of selection arrives, prepare yourself as best you can, and before we go into the details of the operation, are there any questions?"

For some time Vex waited, but no questions were asked.

"All right, IDG officers will share the intel they have, and then we can compile the details of the operation and the training menu."

Former Nouel field near Villa Hagel

Peggie wanted to curse when this morning she found the three Amethyst Merchant workers caught with her hobbling along while their faces were very pale.

However, she immediately held back after remembering that the situation could have been worse. That's why even though her heart was burning with rage, Peggie did not argue when Lassac took her to the former Nouel fields around the Villa Hagel.

The problem was, at a glance, Peggy knew immediately that the fields were in much worse condition than the former Nouel field in Tuscan Region, and that the damage to the fields was man-made.

"It will take at least three years to repair this field, and believe it or not the damage in this field is not due to natural causes."

Lassac casually answered.

"At least you didn't say this field could be repaired easily like the previous Maester."

Peggie frowned before saying.

"Before I formulate a solution, I have to know what previous agriculturalists have done to this field."

"The maester has already gone to the afterlife. But he has notes that you can study and some subordinates that can help you."

"It's too much trouble if I have to teach new people. I need my comrades, so leave them alone."

Lassac pondered for a moment before saying.

"It depends on how fast you repair this field. To be honest I can't restrain my subordinates for too long."

Peggie glanced at Lassac before saying in a super-serious tone.

"To be honest, three years is the fastest time before this land is ready to be planted with Nouel. Before that this land must be reconditioned and then planted with barley or other crops depending on the results of my analysis."

A glimmer of hope flashed through Lassac's eyes, but he desperately hid the joy in his heart.

"How long before the land is ready for barley?"

"Three months at the earliest, five months at the most."

Lassac said reflexively.

"Nouel is not a priority, so you just focus on the crops. Once you provide the technique I asked for, I'll send you home and no one will bother you until it's time for you to return."

Peggie doesn't fully believe Lassac's promise, but for now she will follow Lassac's wishes while looking for a way to tell her location to Amethyst Merchant Headquarters.

"I'll get to work today and quickly get the things I asked for."

Lassac gave a small nod before taking Peggie back to Villa Hagel.

With ease, a P-8 Poseidon with callsign Smoking Panda crosses the sky to the east.

In addition to tracking and locating the kidnapped ADG personnel and Amethyst Merchant workers, Smoking Panda has the additional task of securing air space for two OH-58 Kiowa Warriors who will visit Douhark City.

The two OH-58 Kiowa Warriors with callsign Oscar Kilo were tasked with checking the route to Douhark City as well as giving an ultimatum to the capital of the Tarai Region.

The Smoking Panda radar operator was about to sip his second coffee when six beeps appeared on the dark green screen he was watching.

"Radar contact, six bandits, 12 o'clock, 85 km at 3000 feet, 320km/h, and will hit Oscar Kilo's from the right in 10."

The operations control officer immediately responded to the radar operator's intel by asking the Electro-Optic/IR operator for confirmation.

"EO, give input!"

"Roger."

TF Amethyst adheres to the doctrine of visual confirmation before shooting down a target, so the operations control officer cannot simply order fire until the target has been identified visually.

In clear weather the EO/IR sensors on the P-8 can reach up to 120 km, and if the target is a fighter using the afterburner or a missile with a booster, then both targets can be tracked and identified from a distance of 200-300 km.

Of course, when the sky is filled with thick clouds, Poseidon's visual/passive sensing ability drops dramatically to a range of 8-35 km.

As soon as visual confirmation was obtained, the EO/IR sensor operator immediately said.

"Visual contact, six Cloud Hawks, with Tarai Air Corps attributes."

The operations control officer immediately responded by giving orders to the weapons operator officer.

"Send A-1-20 in pairs at three-second intervals."

"Roger! A-1-20 are sent in pairs, at three-second intervals."

The P-8 used by the TF Amethyst has been modified so that it can fire all missiles in the inventory of the USAF, where each unit can carry up to a maximum of 6 heat-seeker homing missiles such as AIM-9 Sidewinder, or 18 radar homing missiles such as the AIM-120 AMMRAM.

Smoothly, three pairs of AIM-120C7, which have an effective range of up to 105 km, launch from under the Poseidon's wings at intervals of three seconds.

The AIM-120 has a pop-dive trajectory, meaning the missile will climb up before flying toward the target. The radar on the Poseidon will direct the AIM-120s towards the Riders of the Tarai Air Corps until a distance of approximately 20 km. After that, the seeker on the missile will activate and take over tracking.

In the world of fighters, there is the phrase 'Missiles have no friends.'  This is because the seeker on a missile, no matter whether it is guided by radar or heat-seeker, cannot distinguish between friend or foe.

When the seeker on the missile is active, the seeker will repeat the locking process, and automatically lock on to the closest target. That's why fighter pilots are strictly prohibited from firing missiles at an opponent who is involved in a tight dogfight with a friend.

However, in the Smoking Panda case the opponent is still quite far from Oscar Killo location. So the AIM-120 can be fired with ease.

Not long after the seekers on the AIM-120 locked onto the six Riders of the Tarai Air Corps, the six missiles then took a sharp dive and hit the target from behind diagonally.

The two Riders in front reflexively made a sharp turn and performed an evasive maneuver as soon as they heard an explosion behind them. However, both of them still did not escape the AIM-120 lockdown and soon caught up with their colleagues who had arrived in the afterlife first.
