Chapter Thirty

"Mommy are we going to see the baby today?" Seoul asks as we follow Mitilda through the sterile corridor of the infirmary.

"I'm sorry that it took so long to kidnap you away from Jackson. He is kind of a hog." Mitilda joked.

"That's okay. I kind of like being fussed over." I admit. A plump older women dressed in yellow scrubs met us out in the hall. She has short black spikey hair, coffee colored skin and is wearing obnoxiously bright pink lip stick.

"Hey Alpha what can I do for you?" She asked.

"Actually its for my cousin. She met her mate a little while ago and I believe she is pregnant." Mitilda said gesturing towards us.

"Holy Moley! Is that little Rin Scott?" She ask looking between Mitilda and myself. Have I met this women before?

"Yes, this is Rin and her son Seoul." Mitilda introduces us.

"Girl, how is your shoulder? You needed to have it operated on." She ask as we follow her into the exam room. I take a seat on the examination table and Seoul sits in one of the guest chairs. Mitilda stands awkwardly by the door.

"Its okay." I say shrugging.

"Well, you ran off before I could do anything to help." She scolds. Oh wait, she's the doctor that seen me the first time I was here.

"Rin disclosed to me that she had been shot while living in Korea which resulted in a premature delivery." Mitilda says before she can ask me any more questions.

"Did you have any complications during the delivery?" She ask with wide eyes.

"A placenta abruption." I admit.

"Did you receive any medical care afterword's?" She questions.

"A shop keepers daughter was a doctor in training." I mumble.

"Alright, I want to schedule you in for a full work up. So, I can examine your shoulder and check for any long term damage that the abruption may have caused. Today we are just going to see if we can find a heart beat." She says as she grabs a doppler from the table.

I awkwardly lay back on the table. I pull my t-shirt up and tuck it under my band of my bra leaving my stomach bare. She squirted some blue gel on my stomach before running the tool across my torso. After a few agonizing seconds the sound of a heart beat filled the quite room.

"See, my alpha senses are never wrong!" Mitilda arrogantly said.

I can't believe it.

"When did you mate?" The doctor asked.

"A little over a month ago." I shyly say.

"Does your mate not know that you are here getting this exam?" She asked looking between Mitilda and myself.

"No, he is of lower rank. His senses are sharp but not as sharp as mine." Mitilda joked. The doctor handed me a towel to wipe off my stomach.

"Your going to have to tell him very soon. Your scent is going to change and your heartbeat wont be able to disguise the babies." The doctor said encouragingly.

I can't believe that I am going to have another baby.

"Actually Rin, there is something that I would like to talk to you about." Mitilda said glaring at the doctor.

"Congratulations Rin." The doctor said as she scurried out the door.

"Alpha Black and Alpha Scott are due to arrive here later today. The only reason that they have agreed to come is because I told them I was holding you three hostage. Neve and Frank are helping Jackson look the part. However I wont put a pregnant women in a a pair of handcuffs and drag her into a dangerous situation." Mitilda explained.

"However I do need to provoke him somehow. I need him to feel backed into a corner. The best way to do that is by telling him that you have moved on." Mitilda said.

"You want to announce that I am pregnant?" I whisper mortified.

"I know that I am asking for a lot." She says.

"Whats wrong mommy?" Seoul asked cocking his head to the side.

I don't know what to do. This should be something that I tell Jackson in an intimate setting. He adores Seoul and treats him like he is his own son. At the same time I know that he would be thrilled to have a child of his own. Should he find out that he is going to be a father from Mitilda? If Grant still believes that I am his mate being pregnant with another mans child is the ultimate betrayal.

"Okay." I sigh.

Mitildas eyes glossed over. Someone is mind-linking her. The only time this has ever happened is when it is an emergency.

"It seems that our guest have arrived early. I need to get you and Seoul up to my office. It will be the safest place and you will have a front row show." She said grinning. I pick up Seoul. I follow her out of the infirmary and into the pack house where her office is. Mitilda opened the window in her office before leaving us alone to meet the group outside.

The first thing that immediately got my attention was the difference in line up. Grant and his group are angry. There bodies are posed ready to fight. There fist are balled up at their sides. I can hear there throaty growls from here. Mitildas group is different. They are relaxed. Their confidence shows.

"Alpha Black, Alpha Scott I would like to welcome you to my territory." Mitilda said cheerfully.

"Where are they?" Grant said through gritted teeth.

"There here." Mitilda said smugly.

"What do you want?" Grant growled.

"Ah, right to the point. I like it. Hmmmm, lets see the price for an alphas mate, child and gamma is half of your territory." Miltida said rather playfully but I didn't have to see her face to know that it portrayed nothing but seriousness.

"I want to see them." He demanded.

"Sure!" Mitilda said as she waves her her hand forward. Elixir and Keegan drag Jackson to the front of the crowd. A loud gasp escapes my throat when I see how bad he looks. His bright blue eyes are now dark and hollow. He has claw marks across his cheek. Bruises on his throat and whip marks across his back.

"Mommy why did Uncle Elixir and Uncle Keegan hurt daddy?" Seoul asked furrowing his eye brow.

"I think its just makeup." I sigh.

"Wait did you just call him daddy?" I ask turning my full attention to Seoul.

"Yeah. He loves you and he loves me." Seoul said flashing me a toothy.

"You don't know how happy that makes me." I say pulling him into a hug.

"I want to see Rin and Seoul." Grant demanded with out commenting on his gammas treatment.

"See, that is going to be a problem." Mitilda said shrugging.

"You said that you were holding them captive here. So why can't we see them?" Finn demanded.

"Rin and Seoul aren't prisoners anymore. She met another wolf here and fell in love. They have even completed the mating process. She wears his mark with a big smile on her face. He treats Seoul like his own. Its very touching to watch." Mitilda earnestly said.

"Your lying. "Grant said stepping forward. His anger is evident but Mitilda doesn't look phased.

"Actually I'm not. I pulled them apart so he could shift after they mated. I helped her clean the blood off of her mark. I just took her to the doctor who confirmed that she is pregnant with his child." Mitilda taunted. Jacksons limp body went rigid. I didn't want him to find out this way. Grants anger became to much for him to contain and he threw a wild haymaker at Mitilda. She didn't try to dodge it. I heard his fist connect with her jaw but I didn't see it. Smoke sprayed the group.

"Subdue Alpha Black and his party. Get them secured and into decon. Everyone else that was contaminated go into decon. I need someone to go get Rin and Seoul." Mitilda barked orders in between coughing.

"I'll go get her." Jackson said rubbing his eyes.

"No you were right up front when the smoke bomb went off. Get into decon then you can go see her." Mitilda ordered. The men scrambled to secure Grant and Finn.

"Hey, come on lets go." Dean said appearing at the door. I pick up Seoul and follow him out of the pack house. I'm thankful that he remained quite the whole walk there. What does a man say to the daughter that he thought was dead. I wouldn't know what to say either.

Loud buzzers go off as the prison doors slide open. We step out onto the main floor into utter chaos. I could hear Grant and Finn yelling and cussing.

"Get them in separate cells now!" Mitilda yelled. Frank and Neve have ahold of a wet Grant. While Alpha Foster and Keegan drag out Finn who is refusing to walk.

"Hey, I know that I have no right to ask anything of you but once all of this is over I hope that you and your family will come spend some time on my territory." Dean awkwardly asks.

"Sure. I would like that." I say smiling.

"Rin! Oh my god are you okay?" Jackson asked running across the concrete floor barefoot and soaking wet. His makeup is smeared all down his face and neck.

"Yeah I am fine." I say shrugging.

"And you? are you okay?" He asked Seoul.

"Yeah daddy I am okay! Don't worry I'll take care of mommy and my sister!" Seoul declared.

''I don't know what you said but I am grateful." He said pulling us into a hug.

"He called you daddy." I whisper into his ear.

"Really?" He asks. I nod nuzzling my face into his neck.

"Are you pregnant?" Jackson asks.

"It seems so. Seoul told me that I was three days after we mated but I didn't believe him. Then Mitilda told me that I was and refused to let me help make any of the weapons or train. Then the doctor told me today." I ramble.

"I was more than happy just to have you and Seoul but having a baby that is ours is beyond thrilling." Jackson tearfully said.

"Alright I hate to ruin your moment but I need you to work your magic starting with Grant." Mitilda said in-between breaths.
