Escape

The soldiers were calm, expecting Kaze to make the jump when suddenly he flipped around and snatched the weapon of the first soldier in his reach. He had the leverage in terms of strength and element of surprise.

He knew that the weapon in his hand was nuclear power based, and so was the power source of the network of IAEA. He short circuited the weapon to expose its core and threw it into the power pit. Everything happened so fast that before anyone could do anything they ran away frantically. He noticed the control room, not too far from the power pit, as they tried to shut down the source. Unfortunately, they couldn't do so in time and an explosion appeared. The impact of it immediately killed the soldiers nearby, and yet most of them still managed to escape. Apparently they initiated a lockdown protocol that kept the explosion limited to one place.

However, after the contained explosion the entire system of IAEA shut down. With no power source, they had no way of running for a really long time. Which also meant no way of tracking Kaze in case he manages to run away. Since no one was near him at the time of explosion, he found his way out and by knocking down a guard, he stole his uniform to camouflage himself.

He went ahead and looked for his S-Capsule, but he had no idea which part of the building he was, and without ZIA, no way to navigate the remains of the building. There was no guarantee that they even kept the S-capsule in the same biohazard room anymore.

On his way, he noticed while passing from the bay of spaceships when another idea occurred to him. He might not have his own spaceships, but he could certainly steal one. Thanks to his training, he had somewhat of an idea on how to operate these things. These might not go that far, but might go enough to ask for help, and find his way back to siverzius. Seems like a perfect plan right?

However, there was only one problem, his hands were unsteady. Combined with the cellular damage due to oxygen and a high amount of radiation exposure, he could feel the senses from his hand fading away. After much difficulty, he finally managed to get the ship running before flying it away.

Even when the system's are down, there is no way one would miss a giant spaceship going up right above their head. With respect to current events, it didn't take anyone a second to figure out who might be the pilot of the stowaway spaceship.

The nearby ETN specialists harboured the available ships as soon as possible, and without further delay, chased Kaze. Kaze was about the edge of the first layer of atmosphere when he noticed the ships chasing him. His ship warned him that he was locked into the target, but unfortunately thanks to his shaky hands he wasn't sure he would manage to escape.

He looked for other ways to evade the attack when suddenly he noticed a cloaking button. It used a similar technology that was used to change the appearance of the fugitive aliens. And therefore soon the ship vanished not only from everyone's line of sight but also from everyone's radar.

With their satellites down, they had no way of tracing Kaze once he was out of the atmosphere completely and that is exactly what happened. They lost their final trace of the fugitive alien.

The ship on which Kaze was, ran on low fuel, which means it won't be enough to get him to Syverzius. Therefore, once Kaze was away from this solar system, he started to find a way to communicate with Syverzius. That's when he also noticed his appearance was back to normal. Without earth's atmosphere working as a medium, the technology failed to manipulate the refraction to give him his human appearance.

After much trial, he finally managed to establish a connection as he spoke through. "We might not risk Syverzius, but we can send an S-capsule into this galaxy." His subordinate, Chief Makaizul, answered.

"Do so," Kaze replied. He set the coordinates for his ship and delivered the same Coordinates to the ship Syverzius for the destination of the S-capsule. It was in a solar system a bit further away, with no known life forms. But instead of choosing a planet, or even a moon, he chose a giant asteroid, which somewhat looked like a small version of earth's moon.

Getting down, he turned off the ship, to save the last remaining fuel it had. This spacecraft was never meant for such a long journey, and thereby it's actually a miracle that he made it this far.

He looked around the space from that asteroid. He preferred this to the plants, especially a planet like earth. He has had to fight for his life before, but never did he ever imagine such hostility from such advanced lifeforms. Whatever data he collected on MZ-14/ Earth was sufficient for him. Never once did he ever plan on returning there, or sending anyone else there.

After waiting for long enough, since time was an abstract concept in space, he spotted an empty S-capsule headed his way. Even though an S-capsule was smaller than the spaceship he stole, it had much more efficiency, partly because it derived power from the emissions of the star while navigating through the Galaxy.

The operating system of the ship would also be called ZIA, however not only it didn't possess the modifications made by Kaze on planet earth, it also didn't have any records of the interaction he shared with ZIA. He set the course accordingly and headed for Syverzius

Pretty soon, he reached Syverzius, thanks to the speed of the S-capsule. "Captain" Once Kaze, or maybe Captain Kazaliur from now on, entered he was greeted with a bow of respect and joy. Their Captain returned victorious amongst all odds. Captain Kazaliur was offered rest but he declined.

Many crewmates had many questions for him, but the first question was asked by Chief Makaizul. "Where to next"?
