Adrian get rebuked by his Uncle

'How dare he bring me to a hotel! Did he think I am that type of girl? He really has lost his will to live anymore! Tonight... tonight... tonight... yes tonight, I will make sure that it will be his last night! I am going to send so many shadows your way that you would go mad and scream every night,' She jinxed him again and again in her mind before walking out of the hotel's elevator in a huff.

This was not any small roadside motel but actually a seven-star hotel. Also, not anyone could stay here. They need to be a member to even enter the hotel. Each night of stay at least cost around ten thousand dollars.

As Adrian was one of the major shareholders, they had a suite allotted to him. Also, no one other than him was allowed to use it. Other than investing a lot of money into this venture, he had never been here before. Because of the situation last night, this was the only place he could think of, that was very near to the location they were in.

"Madam, Madam…" The bell boy who dropped her yesterday in the room followed her.

Dina didn't want to stop and let anyone see her face. So, she started to run in the hallway. Everyone around looked at her as if she was an alien. Moreover, the dress she chooses to wear happens to be restricting her running.

She had just taken a few steps before she fell face flat in the middle of the reception area. There was a pin drop silent and the people around that area were stupefied.

The bell body shivered as he thought the blame would fall on him. So he took a reverse and dashed away from that place. Dina wanted to dig a hole right there and bury herself. No one came to her help as their eyes were glued to someone who was standing in front of her.

'What the hell is wrong with me? Did I forget how to run or walk?' She scolded herself and lifted her head.

She noticed a man with white hair stand in front of her. She was just centimeters away from his legs. Embarrassment took over her and her face turned red.

"Is this day could turn into any worse?" She mumbled and tried to stand up on the floor.

As the marble floor was so smooth and she was wearing high heels, every attempt she made turned into a huge failure. She looked around for some help but they all turned their heads away and behaved like she didn't exist in this world.

"Are you going to lie down and keep blocking my way? Can you do the rolling somewhere else?" Andrew asked in a brisk voice.

"I want to… but I couldn't. It's not like I want to fall on your feet to get some blessings. I don't even know you. It was not my intention to block your way. Anyway, there is so much space around. Why do you have to go where I am lying." Dina mumbled in a very low voice and hid her face in her hands.

Still, Andrew heard her clearly and raised an eyebrow. He was just about to signal his men to help her but put his hand down instantly. As she suggested, Andrew moved back and tried to walk around her.

Looking at the commotion in the entrance of the hotel, the security guard rushed towards the area. He held Dina's shoulders and made her stand up.

"We are so sorry, sir." The security guard bent down and apologized.

Andrew didn't even look at him and hurriedly walked inside the hotel. Once he left, people relaxed and released the breath they held in until now.

"Why did you stop me from going there and help that poor girl?" The receptionist asked her colleague.

"Do you know who the man is standing in front of her? It's better to stay away from them," Her colleague warned her.

"But why?" She asked.

"It's written into the rules book. We are not supposed to talk to them unless they decide to come and talk to us. The person he was going to meet is a major shareholder in our hotel. Even though he invested a lot compared to the owner, he never visited the hotel even once until yesterday night. This is his Uncle who is well known for his ruthlessness. I was even more surprised that the major shareholder decided to stay here. When he owns a large estate behind this hotel, why would he come here?" Her colleague asked.

"Oh! I heard a rumor that he brought a drunk girl along with him last night and they spent the night together." She whispered near her ears.

"Do you think this is that girl?" Her colleague asked.

Both of them turned their head towards her and started to examine Dina from head to toe. When Dina felt like she was being stripped naked by someone's intense stare, she turned her head towards that direction.

She glared at both the receptionists before strolling away. But the minute she stood the next step the security guard who was holding her arm was pulled forward.

The next second, she heard a 'thud' near her feet. Dina looked downward with her side-eye and saw the person who helped her up was down on the ground.

"I am sorry, I am sorry… Are you ok?" She helped him while others burst out in laughter.

"It's ok, Miss. I can get up on my own," It now became the security guards turn to go red in embarrassment.

He jumped up and showed the way out of the hotel to Dina. He didn't want this young lady in this hotel anymore and spoil the ambiance.

"Miss, do you want me to get you a taxi?" The security guard asked Dina.

Dina shook her head and hastily dashed out. She didn't stop until she reached the gate.

...

When Adrian woke up, it was almost mid-day! The sun had gone up the sky long ago and in a few hours, it would even turn dark. Adrian rolled on the bed, and a small smile escaped his lips. He didn't know why he was smiling though.

"So, you are finally awake?" His uncle, Andrew asked with a smirk.

"Andrew, why are you here?" Adrian asked while yawning heavily.

He could not understand why he was still feeling sleepy. He felt as if he wanted to sleep for one more day. He had a nice fragrance all over his body but he didn't know who it belonged to or why it was on him.

"If I am not here, then where should I be? Who was the girl from last night?" Andrew asked directly, staring at the mess on the carpet with a scrunched face.

Adrian did not answer his question and closed his eyes. He tried to remember what happened last night. A vague memory of someone's face appeared in front of him. He felt refreshed but he couldn't recall who that face belonged to.

But the pain he was feeling right now in his body, it was unimaginable. He lifted the blanket and looked at his hands. There were marks on both his arms. It looked like a flower symbol, then he looked at his chest. Even over there, he saw that he had the same flower mark.
