Grace seals the deal

Adrian wanted to make sure that the effects of the potion mixed in Grace's food was still intact and had already started to work on her mind and body.

"Just spit it out. I don't know why you are beating around the bush so much. I liked your straightforwardness earlier but right now, I won't lie, I am a little disappointed with you. So, just say it, and let's finish with this once and for all. I have other work to do as well. And I can't spend my whole day sitting in front of you and waste my time. Until it is within my limit and I don't have to do anything illegal, I would agree to any conditions you make." She informed him.

"Then let us make a blood oath... But only if you are ok with it and give me your full consent," He finally announced and tensely glanced at her.

Grace hesitated for a minute. She could not understand why he would ask for a blood oath from her? Her brain warned her that something was fishy was going on and she should back out at once.
