"No one asked you," Ersla mumbled and sniggered at Nicholas.
Adrian did not look at Dina even once and he pretended as if she was not there. Neither did he speak after sitting next to her. Just when Dina was thinking if she had to strike a conversation, Ersla demanded to Adrian,
"So, Adrian… Where is your apology for throwing me away earlier?"
"How would I know a mere spider would have the soul of a human and could even talk? I treated you the same way I treat any other spider. You should appreciate me for not showing any discrepancies and treating you equally as them…" Adrian commented with a straight face.
Dina almost wanted to knock on his head and also throw a punch at him. But she didn't and just turned her head to look outside the window. The moon shone brighter than any other day and the full moon had its beauty of its own.
