The green portal absorbed us and sent us somewhere.
...
The adventuring guild was a large modern building. It stood tall in the middle of the city of Sana. The building was built 120 years ago, when the third disaster had struck the world. When they had discovered the third disaster, the world began to cause conflict with each other.
Everyone wanted part of this third disaster. But no one could actually access it yet. It was blocked. The light the surrounded the third disaster would shine has struck down any of those foolish enough to step closer to it.
Even though it seemed unobtainable, the world still powered themselves up for when they could finally access this disaster. But with power, they needed resources. That's when the adventuring guild had come in place.
It was made to scatter the 1st floor and discover what the monster above could bring. Ever since the hordes were pushed back from invading the 2nd floor, the top floor had become quiet. But that didn't stop the courage of those brave heroes.
They risked their lives for collecting resource for the country and did so in numerous places. With the help of the adventuring guild, many lands had seen the power development of the land of Sana. So they too adopted the adventuring guild.
Soon every land and territory had an adventuring guild. With the steady growth of hunting, the monsters were still very hard to hunt by themselves. So every adventuring guild made an alliance and joined forces.
100 years later, gates were implanted in each adventuring guild. All of them connected to the 4 main adventuring guilds. From the land of Sana, the territory of beasts, the arena of gladiators and the sea of Fen.
They made up the largest and most influential adventuring guilds. They all could be ranked at the top of man power each had, but none had decided to attack residents of the 2nd floor. They only scavenged they top floor and killed the monsters, which we were all glad for.
10 Years later, a strange appearance of some people had been descending from the top floor. These people, though weak at the start, were incredibly strong and invincible in the long run. Eventually every guild considered them a resource and wanted them for their own lands and territories.
This begun the age of adjudicators, which they called themselves. Who ever emerged out of the top floor weak and frail and identified as adjudicators, were given a badge to show people that they were protected by the government.
No one had messed with them once they once saw a random civilian who was threatening an adjudicator, sent to the third floor.
You see there was three floors. We don't know if they are anymore floors as the third floor was incredibly dangerous and killed any who dared to adventure through.
Going to the third floor was a death sentence no one would or could escape from.
10 Years later, many adjudicators had come from the top floor and many lands had many adjudicators. Just like the adventuring guilds, the places that had the most adjudicators were Sana, the beast territories, the gladiator arena and the islands of Fen.
But there was also a underdog that was joining the ranks. It was the isles of Revolt. The 2nd floor had all heard about the activities of the Revolt.
They raided and destroyed villages and towns. They were all killers and demolishers. They destroyed the world as the run rampant. But no one could stop them now. They had some of the most powerful adjudicators. Because they killed, the adjudicators that followed them had grown very fast.
Currently the wolrld didn't care about them right now. The light from Holy Land of Mana had started faltering. It meant that the world was soon at war.
All of this was because of a bunch of kids getting teleported through a green portal.
...
Oof!
I was suddenly thrown to the ground. What happened? We just teleported and now I feel like I had been asleep for ages.
I rubbed my forehead in pain. Ow ow OW OW OW!
"OW! Stop that" I didn't know who I was talking too but I didn't care. It felt like something was getting drilled into my head.
"What!? I'm not doing anything to you"
"Huh?" Who was that? I could only see faint blurring lights.
"The fact that your awake is extraordinary. Even some experts who some here can't withstand the time spent in the portal"
"Time spent in portal?" I heard a gasp, I didn't turn to the sound as I was bothered with my splitting splitting headache.
"A first timer as well, extraordinary! I can't wait for boss to hear this" I heard another gasp and thuds.
"And you've brought adjudicators! Some might've said this was beginners luck, but I think this is fate! Not only do you have amazing stamina, you have a brave heart in adventuring to find these people. Hehehehe my type of man."
I couldn't be bothered answering her back and didn't correct her. I felt like that it was better to be low key. I don't want to have any attention towards me yet even though she just named all my fake achievements, I could only hope they were common.
I was growing dizzy now, the headache becoming worse.
"I guess not everything lasts. Well, goodnight rookie!"
I could still hear the woman's voice as I felt everything go black. I hope I don't wake up to her again or ever again.
...
"HI! HI! Welcome back to the living rookie!" It was the lady again. I had realised that she was playful and a bit mature by her voice and tone.
"UGHHHH- What happened?" I played out like I didn't know what was happening.
"Hi hi, my name is Rose and welcome to the land of Sana!" I could already feel my headache worsen. I checked my health.
[Health: 350/440]
My regen was slow so I reached into my pocket and at the same time, opened my inventory. I grabbed a health potion from the inventory and pulled my hand out of my pocket.
Rose looked at the potion in my hands in surprise.
"I had gotten this from an adjudicator, he said that it could heal my wounds. I just want to check if it works" I had to lie why I had this. I don't want her suspecting me of being a adjudicator. She just nodded in agreement.
I opened the bottle and chugged down the potion.
