"...wake up..."
A scratchy voice echoed through my ears.
...
...
...
I opened my eyes... and I was staring at a dark ceiling.
I moved my arms and I was floating around in the water.
My surroundings were completely dark; I couldn't see a thing.
Where... am I?
No...
Who am I?
I can't remember anything.
...
Why am I here?
...
Why the hell is it so dark?
...
My mind was hurting at those thoughts. What the hell am I doing in here?
"How did I even get here? This... this dark place."
I was puzzled by my location. The floor, the walls, the ceiling, they seemed to be flesh-like and it smelled like the insides of an animal.
I didn't like where I was. My body, I could feel chills traveling up my spine.
I need to get out of here... this... place.
That was the thought that ran through my head. I was scared... and alone. I wanted to see light. But a feeling in my stomach told me to continue forward into this dark void.
So I did. I walked down this dark corridor, forgetting that I wanted to get out of here.
...
...
...
How long has it been since I've walked? I don't even know...
Eventually, I stumbled upon another room. This time, the walls were glowing... but they were moving as well.
I felt wind blasting in my face and then it was calm. But when I took another step, that same wind blew me forward.
What the hell? Is whatever I'm in breathing?
It must be because I saw a wave of water approaching my way. Does this thing breathe both air and water?!
I tried to run away, but I was immediately swept away by the tide.
I managed to take a huge breath before I was overwhelmed by the wave.
I tried to swim forward but it was just too strong. I couldn't go against this force.
Then I felt something hit my head and images flashed before my eyes before my consciousness was lost.

Fuck... my head.
What the hell was I hit by? Why the hell does it smell? Why is it so dark?
When I woke up, I was standing around in a dark room. Where the fuck am I?
Suddenly, images flashed inside my head.
I remember... I was in school. I remember fighting a guy and beating him. Then a few memories later, I was hit by two trucks... and then finished off by a train.
Crap, that is all I remember after that. Any further was just a blur.
My clothes felt wet. I felt all drenched and I smelled like piss, and what the fuck is crawling on my arm?
I looked and there was a massive centipede on my arm. I immediately screamed and shook it off me, then I ran.
After I escaped, I stopped and looked around.
I still don't know where I am...
Heh, I don't even remember my name.
Whose memories do I even have?
Well, that doesn't matter.
Suddenly, the walls began to vibrate and glow. When the interior was illuminated, I saw countless tentacles with barbed tips advancing towards me.
"What the fuck are those?!"
I backed up and ran down the dark red tunnel.
Whatever I'm in, it is definitely not friendly.
As I ran, I saw three pathways and I had to decide right now which one to enter.
But suddenly I noticed that there was a hole separating me from those tunnels, and I immediately stopped.
When I looked down, I saw some sort of green liquid. When I felt a toxic wave of heat hit my face, I immediately knew to back away.
But I also didn't want to because when I turned around, the tentacle was getting closer.
I knew if one of them impaled me, I would be dead. Why? Because I know I'm human.
I had no choice, I either risk it and jump or I succumb to death. And I don't wanna die.
So I jumped to the right tunnel and ran forward.
...
...
...
How long have I been running? My legs already feel tired.
I slowly began to speed down and I can hear the tentacles behind me getting closer and closer.
Crap, I don't want to die, if only I knew how to fight back.
"Then do it."
Suddenly, I was in a pitch-black room. No, that was the sky. The floor was pure white. Is this... snow?
"If you want to fight, then fight. It's not like you can't, you know."
I realize that voice. It was the same voice that woke me up.
I turned around and there was a boy sitting on a sinister-looking black throne. The boy had long white hair, dark purple eyes and black veins around it, and extremely pale skin. It was almost as if he was a zombie.
"W-who are you?" I asked, and the boy smirked.
"I can only say I am you. Your name, your purpose, your past, you need to find out yourself. I am only here to say that you can fight."
His voice was young, but at the same time, it was like a demon's.
"B-but I don't know how to."
The boy sat there silently, then he motioned his fingers, telling me to come closer to him.
When I got closer, the boy suddenly snatched my face.
"Wha-?!"
"Just returning some memories to you. Don't worry, they will serve well. And as a bonus, I'll dump my bloodlust into you."
My vision was slowly being clouded by crimson red. When I looked back at the boy, his mouth moved but all I heard was-
"Good luck... Sei--"
And then I felt an overwhelming excitement fill my body. This wasn't any ordinary excitement, though. I suddenly had the feeling... the feeling to spill blood.
When I awoke again, my hand was already on the handle of a dagger strapped to my waist and I turned around, slashing the tentacles heading my way.
Thump!
All of them dropped dead on the ground. One of them squirmed, still alive. I walked over and stomped on it until it laid there lifelessly.
Something inside me changed. When I felt the dagger in my hand, I immediately knew how to use it.
The same went for the other weapons on my back.
I wonder whose weapons I'm using. Maybe they are mine, I don't know.
Images began flashing through my mind and I remembered.
Yes, I received these weapons as a gift from someone. The question is who? I also saw myself using knives.
I also saw other people, but all of their faces were blurred. I also remembered why I was here.
I came to kill something... just what is it though?
Whatever it is, I only know that I have to go to the heart to kill it.
I looked back at the dark tunnel and continued down.
...
...
...
As I walked down the tunnel, I could hear the sounds of small insects wandering around. That's kind of disgusting, having bugs in your system.
...
...
...
Eventually, I heard noises that sounded like heartbeats.
"I'm close."
I looked around, but there wasn't anything that looked like a heart. I even put my ear against the wall and I still couldn't figure it out.
The path ahead of me had diverged into two paths. I walked forward until I was between the paths.
I felt the heartbeat getting louder... and stronger.
That's when I felt the ground almost moving.
The heart... it's under me, isn't it?
Sure enough, when I looked down, I could see something flashing every few seconds. The floor was even soft.
I took my Katana and jabbed the ground. But my blade wouldn't go through. Even if it was soft like paper, it was like rubber; all stretchy and bouncy. Even after I slashed it a few, it still wouldn't cut open.
I need something else. Something that can break this thing.
Something that can tear this apart with brutal force. Something that can kill anyone with just a single strike.
That's when I heard a sound emitting from my left arm. When I lifted it, it was some kind of dragon claw and it was glowing pink.
This could do...
I aimed the fist at the ground. Then I put all of my strength and will into the arm, then I struck the floor.
Ka-boom!
When I struck the ground, some kind of energy emitted from my arm and spread through the floor and the walls. Violet-colored energy radiated through the corridor and I could feel the ground getting weaker.
Then it broke and I began falling down the dark abyss.

After what felt like an hour, I finally reached the bottom. At first, I was scared that I would break my legs when I landed but I didn't feel anything, which is a relief.
When I got up and looked around, the walls weren't dark; they were lit. I eventually turned around and in front of me was... the heart. It was definitely the heart alright. Nothing in the body would beat like that.
I slowly approached the heart. So all I have to do is destroy this? Pretty easy, if you ask me.
But when I took another step, I heard a hiss and immediately jumped back, something in front of me crashing into the spot I just was.
I got on my feet and looked forward.
Coming down from the ceiling was a serpent-like head. But I also saw more of them. In a matter of seconds, there were about twenty serpent heads all staring at me with bloodthirsty eyes.
