Chapter 4

"You?What are you doing here?" asked Maya as she was shook to see someone that she know was following her back home.

"My house was this way. So?" asked the person. Every question got a reply by a question.

"If you are following then stop. If you are not than go now. I heard you run just the same as I run just now. So I really think that you are really following me. I am sorry." said Maya while bowing her head a bit as she was very sorry that she accused the person.

Without getting a reply, the person immediately walk away from her and she just watch him from behind.

'It really is not you,Jake. If it was you,even you lost your memory, you will never have this kind of attitude. I know you, Jake.'said Maya in her heart.

Suddenly she felt something heavy on her head. She then took the thing from her head and look at it with a confused face.

"Take it. You might be cold and everyone is laying their eyes on you." said Jake without sparing a glance towards Maya.

"Thanks by the way." said Maya and wear the jacket that was just thrown by Jake.

'Although my heart said it was not you, but my mind said that it was you.' monologue Maya while put on a small smile on her face and walk towards her home.

"Mom!! I'm home.Where are you??" screamed Maya from her door as she was opening her shoes.

"I was in the kitchen honey." her mom replied.

After fully opening her shoes, she slid on her slippers and went to her mom. She saw that her mom was preparing snacks and drinks.

"So how was school honey? Everything okay?" asked Mrs.Green stirring a pot of tea.

"Well, I can say that it was not that bad.I just made a new friend, I think maybe we are bestfriend, I don't know. But she is kind and fun to be with." said Maya while tapping her finger on the dining table.

"Look. I already told you. It was nice to hear that. So what is her name?" asked her mom waiting for her daughter answer.

"Her name was Jenny Ray. And guess what? I think I met with Jake at school. But I can't say that it was him. Because Jake in this school, he is really troublesome. He was the biggest bully and has a girlfriend. I bump into him at school and he said he is going to kill me if I ever made him mad again. I heard from Jenny that he lost his memory when he was small. But I don't think it was him. You know him right, he would not do that ever even he lost his memory." said Maya while muching her oreo.

"Well do you know his name honey?" asked her mom.

"His name is Jake. But I don't know his last name. But I don't think it was the same Jake I know. It was totally a different person." said Maya again.

"Up to you. I have a question. Where did you get those jacket from? I don't seem to remember buying that jacket for you before." said Mrs.Green scanning the jacket up and down while trying to think.

"Oh, this jacket. Actually, at school, while I was waiting for my bus, someone spilled water on me accidentally. So I decided to walk home because I don't want to make the chair in the bus wet because of me. And while I was walking, on of my classmate give this jacket to me so I can cover myself." said Maya and then she inhale a really deep breath. She scared to tell her mom the truth. What if her mom went to school just because want to meet her bully just like in a drama. Where the daughter of the rich family get bully and then her mom go to school just to attack the bully and the teacher. Maya don't want anything like that to happen. So she have to lie to her mom.

"Okay,dear. After you done, go upstairs,have a good shower and don't forget to do your homework okay?" said Mrs.Green.

"Okay mom. Then, excuse me." said Maya after she sipping the last bit of the tea in her cup.

After she done taking her shower, she was scrolling her instagram while laying her body on her comfortable bed.

"Oh? Someone just follow me. Who might it be?" said Maya to herself as she rarely get a new follower. Her followers also was in a small amount as she was not the most popular girl.

It was Jenny, her new bestfriends who followed her. Without wasting any time, Maya follow her friend back and devided tu dming her.

•Maya: Hey, Jenny!!

•Jenny: Hey bestfriend..What's up?

•Maya: Nothing. Just wondering how do you know my account. (⊙_☉)

•Jenny: Hahaha..relax. I have my own way on finding your instagram account. But in legal way. I don't want to go to jail to soon you know.(￣ω￣;)

•Maya: Okey. Up to you.

•Jenny: By the way, can you give me your phone number? I forgot to ask it from you at school.

•Maya: Okey. Here it is xxxxxxxxxx

•Jenny: Okey thanks bestie. I got to go now. Bye see you tomorrow.

•Maya: Okey bye love.( ˘ ³˘)♥

"Maya, come down. Let's have dinner." shouted Mrs.Green from downstairs.

"Coming mom." answered Maya.

"Oh hey dad. How was work at your new place today?" asked Maya as soon as she saw her dad already at the table.

"It's fine. I think it is much better than the old place. And the boss is really kind." said Mr.Green while drinking his water.

"Great to hear that. By the way, I also got a great news. I just make a new bestfriend at school today. Her name is Jenny. She is very kind." said Maya with a happy voice as she was excited to announce that she successfully make a new friend.

"Now that is my daughter. I know move out was the best decision. Now shall we eat?" asked her father as he was hungry.

After eating, Maya went to her bedroom to grab her phone. She opened her phone to see if there is any new messages she got. But she was suprised to get a new message from an unknown number.

She open the message with a trembling finger and she held in her breath. She was scared. She scared because she thought negative things. What if scammer was messaging her asking for money, or someone she don't even know messaging her and that someone is a pervert. She shook away her negative thought and look at her screen phone.

'Don't forget to bring my jacket to school tomorrow.' it said.

Maya exhale the breath that she held for to long after read the message. From the message, she knew that it was none other than the bully, Jake. Then, it hit her. She forgot to wash the jacket. She started to panicking.

'I am sorry, but can I give the jacket in two days? I forgot to wash it.' Maya reply.

She knows that if she tried to wash the jacket that night, it won't dry. So she don't have any other inisiative.

'What??!! You want to die tomorrow?' Jake reply again.

'No, I am very sorry. I forgot to wash it.' Maya type and close her phone. She is scared to meet him tomorrow. She decided to just sleep and forgetting what happened today.
