Chapter 5

"Hey bestie. Why you looking so moody today? Everything fine?" asked Jenny when she saw Maya walking inside the school with a slow pace and Maya's eyes focusing on the school floor.

"I will tell you. But not here. In class." said Maya and walk with Jenny to their class. Thank goodness that their first teacher was not in there yet so Maya can spill all her story to Jenny.

"So, spill the tea Sis." said Jenny.

"Okay so here is the story. Yesterday, when I was waiting for my bus to come, I think I already met with Amanda." said Maya a bit confused as she still cannot be sure that the girl from yesterday was really Amanda, the second biggest bully in that school.

"Wait what? How can you meet her? You want to die already?" asked Jenny shocked that Maya already met Amanda on her first day.

"I don't know. She pour a bottle of water onto my head and I was obviously wet yesterday. She did that because she said that I was flirting with her boyfriend, Jake. After she pour the water, she attend to slap my face and you want to know what happen next?" asked Maya. She wants to make her story more interesting for her curious friend that was so focusing on her story.

"What?? Tell me right now. I've been dying to know it you know." said Jenny with a pleading eyes like a lost puppy.

"Jake, the bully save me from the slap. I was shocked as he tried to save me. Maybe I can't say that. He probably trying to save his girlfriend from being viral that she was bullying at the public. I don't know." said Maya shrugging her shoulder.

"WHAT?? Girl!! I think he is in love with you. You see, when his girlfriend bullying others, he did not give a single glance to the person. Even his girlfriend was bullying at the public place or not. And no matter if the person was a new student or not." said Jenny.

"Well I think we better not thinking that way. Let me continue. I decided to walk home and it was really freezing. Moreover, I forgot to bring my jacket so I was walking home with a wet clothes and people's eyes on me. And when I was walking, I heard someone following me from behind. I thought it was some pervert guy so I ran. And when i turned around I was shocked once again. It turned out to be Jake. He was following me and give me his jacket." said Maya again.

"WHAT?? You realised how many time I said what. It means that I was really shocked. It was the signal. The signal that he loves you." said Jenny while clapping her hand just like a kid that just got their candy.

"Wait no no no. That thing will never happen. I know for sure." said Maya while swaying her finger in front of her friend's face.

"Then, why are you so moody today? You should be happy as the bully helped you yesterday." asked Jenny as soon as she remembered what happened to her bestfriend just now.

"Okay I don't bring his jacket today. I forgot to wash it yesterday as soon as I was home." said Maya nervous.

"Well girl goodluck with that." said Jenny while laughing and received a hard slap on her arm.

"You are bad." said Maya while pouting.

"Hey, are you Maya?" suddenly some random girl interrupted their conversation.

"Yes I am. What can I help you with?" asked Maya politely as she see that the random girl has a good attitude.

"Someone wants to meet you. The person didn't let me tell you who is it. He wants to meet you behind the school. Better you go now." said the random girl and went to her place that was beside the window.

"Oh god. I think it is him. Girl, help me now." said Maya panicked.

"Sorry gall.. I can't. You better go now or it will be worst. Best of luck." said Jenny and push Maya out of the class and wave her hands.

Maya inhale a big amount of oxygen so she can calm herself before met the person who would like to meet her. She already know who is the guy that want to meet her BEHIND the school. She started to contemplating to herself wether she should go or not.

What if the person tried to do something bad to her, will people heard her scream? Because behind school is somewhat the least place that student or teacher will go.

Wether she want it or not, she have to go. She has to go to meet him face to face.

She reached her destination and she saw no one there. She started to think it was just a prank from the random girl just because she was the new student there so she decided to go back to her classroom. She only walk two steps, she heard someone call out her name and she turn her head around.

She was right. It was him, Jake. The school bully.

"There you are. I've been waiting for you for a year." mocked Jake as he saw Maya's scared and panicked face.

"Why did you call me here?" asked Maya with her hidden trembling hand behind back.

"Are you forget or you really forget? Where is my jacket? I asked you to bring it today, I was waiting for your reply but until now no reply. You left me on seen." said Jake with an intense glare.

"I-I actually forgot to wash it yesterday. And I know if I wash yesterday night, it won't dried fast so I decided not to bring the wet jacket to you. I am sorry." said Maya with her head hung low. She was scared to look Jake straight into his eyes. The eyes that have dagger in it.

"If you are really sorry, you have to listen to what I tell you. Deal?" suggest Jake with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Fine, what is it?" asked Maya frustrated to her future that will waiting for her.
