Chapter 2

Natalie's POV

While my brother was driving, I was busy checking my newsfeed in one of my social media accounts not until he told me something that made me look at him.

"When some punk's going to ask for your name, tell him to fuck off 'cause you got a boyfriend, alright?" He seriously said while looking at the driveway.

What? What did he just say? Why would I say that if I don't even have a boyfriend in the first place?!

"Are you out of your mind?" I asked him while raising an eyebrow.

"I'm serious, Natalie," he glanced at me for a second before looking back at the driveway.

"And why should I do that?"

"Because I said so."

"Oh god, you're not even making any sense!" I answered before looking away from him.

"Babe, you know that I'm only doing this for your own good." He softly said as if he's trying to lessen the anger that I have right now.

"Look, don't treat me as if I have the same situation with your best friend's younger sister. I'm not her and I know what I'm doing."

My brother's best friend who is actually Peter Parkson has a younger sister who's been missing for 3 years now. I don't know what actually happened but someone said that she has a stalker who's been following her for a month. I'm not sure if that's true but I didn't pry too much since we're not even close to begin with.

"Babe, just do what I say and we're not going to have any problem."

"I don't have a problem. You're the one who's making it!" I angrily said before opening his passenger door after parking his car in front of my school.

I was about to enter inside when I suddenly remembered something that's why I walked up to his window and knocked which made him open it.

"I don't want you to fetch me later. I hate seeing your face right now." I snobbishly said which made him pout.

I turned my back at him and was about to walk away when he suddenly grabbed my forearm.

"Let go. My class is about to start."

"You're forgetting something."

"What?"

"My kiss," he seriously said which made me roll my eyes at him.

I'm going to punch him real hard at home.

"I'm not in the mood right now and please, we're grown-ups already!" I shouted but he still won't budge.

"Let go."

"Kiss."

Argh! This jerk doesn't act like my twin brother most of the time! It's as if he's my boyfriend!

Instead of arguing with him, I just gave him a peck on his left cheek which made the jerk smiled and finally took his left hand off my forearm.

"I'll still fetch you later!" He shouted when I started to walk away from him.

Why do I have a stubborn brother like him?

After entering the school grounds, someone hugged me from behind.

"Good morning, sis!" My best friend happily greeted.

"Good morning," I greeted her back.

"You're kinda grumpy today. Is it your brother again?" She asked which made me sigh. She laughed with my silent answer and continued to walk at my side.

"You know, your brother's hot and cool. He's totally my ideal type! However, it seems that he doesn't have any interest towards women like me. He only has his eyes fixed on you every single time. You don't even look like siblings at all!" She exclaimed.

"It's because we're fraternal twins, Alex."

"But still! You must have other characteristics that should be the same with his." I didn't answer her anymore because she was also not making any sense just like my annoying brother. They would really make a good couple because of their attitude.

Once we have reached the gymnasium, we immediately searched for our names on the paper that's pinned on the bulletin board.

"Omg! We're finally classmates, sis!" Alexandra excitedly said and hugged me again.

Thank God we're classmates in our final high school year because ever since our junior years and 11th grade, we're always separated by our sections.

We went to our respective classrooms and chose our own seats. While waiting for our adviser to come, there was a sudden commotion outside our room.

Alex stood up from her seat and went outside to gossip while I stayed inside and busied myself by scrolling down my newsfeed.

I was watching a vlog when Alex suddenly called me.

"Oh my God, Natalie! You wouldn't believe what I just heard!"

"What?"

"Do you know Grey Thomson?"

"Nope," I answered without any hint of interest.

"What the hell? Why?" She asked while looking at me as if I'm an outdated person.

"Do I need to? He doesn't even know my existence so why should I know about him?" I bluntly asked that made her roll her eyes.

"Typical Natalie," she whispered but I still heard it which made me smirk.

"So what about him?" I asked.

"Since you don't know him, I'll give you a brief information about Grey. He's a famous actor and a great singer worldwide! He's the only son of the CEO of Thomson Corporation which makes him the sole heir of their company. However, despite of the limelight that he has, there were no news about him for 3 years and I don't know why!"

"And now?" This girl really has a habit of not being straightforward when telling a gossip.

"Now he's going to study in our school! Omg! I cannot!" She shrieked like any fan girl would do.

"Is that so? Good for him." I boringly said which made her look at me with bewildered eyes.

"You're not happy about it?"

"Do I need to?" I asked while raising an eyebrow at her which made her pout.

"You're really a grouchy person. Sometimes I really do ask myself of how did I survive being your best friend for years." She said that made me laugh.

Our conversation ended when our adviser entered the classroom.

"Good morning, class!" She greeted with a smile on her face.
