Life 1.2: For me, Live on!- Part 1

Part 1

One year passed from that day and his parents went abroad while Joe would often visit him and cook for him. Ise also learned many sports in this past years due to sharingan in his aid, it was as easy as cutting a cake. But his favorite game was the game of chess probably due to influence of Lulouch's thinking capability. He became proficient in it and won many tournaments in chess.

At the age of 16 he admitted into Kuoh academy for his Highschool education in first year. First year wasn't that interesting as he would just attend the lectures and go back home. His grade were just on the top as he became topper in the first year. Due to influence of Joe his hairstyle was a little different than the original. He had the classy brown hairs which were messily swept backwards and weren't that long but it were little above the shoulders.

He soon became the mysterious man of the first year due to his lack of appearance as only class knew who he was he would just go home after classes and didn't participated in any clubs.

After a few days there was lots of commotion in the school and lots of classes weren't happening. In most of the classes, either teachers were too busy or there were very few students as most of them were busy in their club activities. Yes! Its correct the school festival was arriving.

Ise POV~

'Oh yeah, the school festival is arriving, right?'

'I have been asked to join the quiz competition. Even after I rejected them they tried to tempt me with the prize of it, fools, little did they know that my monthly allowance was at least twice than the prize for first place of this mere quiz competition which was held only once a year. Well, probably the influence of Lulouch is getting more and more on me to talk like this. At least its better than the attitude of Light or else considering myself I don't want to roam the streets laughing maniacally and shouting 'I am Kira' or 'I am god' at night'

"Issei-kun, why don't you participate in certain events. If you are shy then I can talk to student council to make you work behind the scenes" said my home room teacher.

"No thanks Sensei. I would prefer to participate in an event rather than join student's council" I replied.

'Are you kidding me! I don't wanna to get involved into Sitri peerages than students council business. Sona Sitri must be vice president now since she is in second year and considering how overprotective and doting her sister is I am definitely sure that there are many high level 'bodyguards' deployed here. So I don't wanna take any risk and expose to them my sharingan.

Am I over thinking things? Probably due to Light and Lulouch well can't complain about that it was my wish and its now my ability, also its better to be safe and sure than to take a risk. Now, considering current problem in front of me, which event would be best? Mmnnn… probably cooking? No it would definitely catch the attention of the two devil princesses here. Some sport? Oh yeah I can participate in chess for first years then I would be low key and since it's a first year not the open to all I would also be able to avoid spot light.'

"Sensei I have decided, I would be in chess competition for first years"

"That's good, then I am going to register your name okay?" he asked.

"Okay"

And thus the week of the festival started.

Since this competition was just between first years so it wasn't conducted on a grand scale.

There were total of sixteen people competing so I had to win against three opponents to win the tournament.

The first two were very easy opponents I was able to deal with them in just couple of minutes well 1 minute and 56 second to be exact for the first one and 3 minute and 35 second for the second opponent.

As for the third, it got wrapped up in just 2 minutes and 47 seconds.

It was hard to hold my urge to laugh maniacally like Light and taunt him like Lulouch.

To my surprise the prize for winner is a ticket for the occult horror house.

'Well, I might, as well give it a try'

After the competition I went in the direction of old school building, since, occult research club was established in the old school building.

As I went near it the surrounding really became scary.

Ignoring it I saw a huge crowd of people in front of the ticket counter for horror house some people which exited had a pale look on their face like they saw a devil or something.

I showed my ticket and went in.

'Holy shit. I mean how much does Gremory's dote on their daughter. Man! In here a true ghosts and devils they didn't even need to disguise them even the spiders and other creatures are the familiars of Gremory house hold. I mean there is a limit, damn the mummy there is real one too and that.. oh.. I guess the other 'non-devil' creatures are part of Abe-senpei's friends? Well whatever'

And then suddenly a devil with long teethes and bat like wings popped up in front of me and I replied with word "Spooky" on which the devil became shy and hid back.

'I mean, seriously? I guess this devils are little friendly or was it one of the familiars? I can find out by activating my sharingan but its dark here and sharingan will glow in dark. I might scare a few ghosts down here!'

After that I exited the horror house. But I wasn't able to see any of the occult research member there. Leave it. That was last event I went and after that I went straight after festival ended and exams began. And thus, first year came to an end with me acing it.
