CHAPTER 7

SOMEONE'S POV

I am on my Office the light is dim that's my favorite because when darkness surrounds me I am able to think properly.

I love darkness because I am darkness.

All through my life I taught that Rogue Argonne Gomez is A guy but in reality she's a girl.Now everything would be a lot easier for me.

I opened my drawer and get the picture of my Grandpa

"You'll regret every single word you told me before,You will be proud of me"

Rogue Argonne's POV

"Lorelei, Trish ,Sevy stop it,the school police and detectives started the investigation"

Zymophore Kriegspiel step forward and talked to them.

"So you do really think that this cripple ,Can do that?"

He point a finger on me

Arrgg!!If i could just punch you Zymophore Kriegspiel Vilches if only.

"Yes we do think that she's the one who did all of these"

"Stupid"

Zymophore Kriegspiel laughs at them.

The Talons escorted me,I feel so special, that a cripple like me is being protected by the Talon.

They brought me to their office.Only Zymophore Kriegspiel Vilches, was left with me because the other Talons will go with the school police and detectives to help in the investigation.

Their office is big,the design is classical,the

walls of the second floor are full of old books. I am now sitting at a big sofa it is color red with some designs of gold.

Zymophore Kriegspiel is sitting on his swivel chair and staring at me. He stand up and stand in front of me,he gave me a cold glare.

"Who are you really?"

He coldly said.

"I am Annica Beatrice Castro...your classmate."

"Liar,and if you are really Betty then you've changed a lot"

He is about to put his hands around my neck but the other Talons came.

Zymophore Kriegspiel looked at them

"How's the investigation?"

Blaze Lothair answered him

"We still don't know who did it press."

The bell rung

"I will be the one who will drive Betty home"

"No need Alpheus Jade,this cripple can handle her self"

I tap Alpheus Jade's shoulder.

"Zymophore Kriegspiel is right I can handle my self"

"No I will drive you home to make sure that you are safe."

"But....."

I am not able to continue what ever I waned to say because Alpheus Jade pulled me to the parking lot.

"Are you still living at your apartment?"

Think he is referring to Annica Beatrice's apartment

"Yes"

He drove me to the apartment.

"Thank you,Alpheus Jade"

"Welcome"

I entered the gate and make sure that he is not around before I go out and go home on my house at Verona.

When I got home,I changed clothes and decided to go back at Annica Beatrice's apartment.

When I stepped in,The land lady is so looked at me Furiously.

"It's been two months!,you haven't showed yourself here, you haven't paid for your rent for a year!!"

The middle aged fat woman( the land lady) is saying so many things to me.She just stop when I gave her a bundle of blue bills.

Hays,I hate people like her because for them money is their life,if you have money then everything would be okay but if you don't she will say so many negative things about you.

I entered Annica Beatrice's room, it is small and had some furnitures inside. A bed,a small table and a cabinet.

I opened it I saw some clothes of her, I also saw a necklace of her in the small table their is a photo album.

I opened the photo album.I saw some pictures of her when she's still young. I put that album on my bag.And after it I went home.

"Anak,where have you been?"

"On my classmate's house,we just did a project"

"Your cousins are in the kitchen"

I went in the kitchen.

"Rogue, where did you go?"

"I went to Annica Beatrice Castro's apartment"

"Ahh.."

I bring out the photo album.

"What's that?"

"Kadey, it's Annica Beatrice Castro's photo album"

They get the photo album from me and look at the photos.

"Rogue Argonne, She looks exactly as you are"

"Precisely, Kayisha Denise."

"Have you ever asked Tito and Tita about her?"

"Not yet,Van"

"Next week Mom and Dad will have a business trip here in the Philippines,at Laguna,I think at that time I could ask them about Annica Beatrice"

Thunder Kade,Helped Nanay Meldy in cooking our dinner. They made a very delicious meal. After the dinner we all go to our rooms but we still can't sleep so we all go to the subdivision's pool.

"Let's have a night swimming"

"Good Idea,is it okay to you Rogue Argonne?"

"Yes,since tommorow is Saturday and I don't have classes."

We don't sleep we just have a fun time together.

It is 5:00 AM when we returned home.

We watched movies all day together.mostly horror and action films.

When Sunday came I help them prepare everything they need because on Monday they will become official students of LIHS.

Thunder Kade, Kayisha Denise,and Flare Onyx will enter the school as Troopers. while Van Ashtron will enter the school as a cripple.

Thunder Kade and Flare Onyx will be on the same section where I am in.

Since the seat on my right side us vacant Thunder Kade sat on that chair.

Few moments later, the Talons came, They were not shocked that there are new students because they were informed, and also they are the one who gives tests to the students to know their level in the Hierarchy.

Thunder Kade is always, beside me. When the lunch time came, I and all my friends are eating on one of the tables in the canteen.

"Guys, do you enjoy your first day here ?"

Everybody except Van Ashtron said yes.

"Why didn't you enjoy your first day here Van Ashtron?"

"Because I am here as a cripple,I maybe had a lame personality,but I can fight and win against them but now I am here as a cripple ,and being a Cripple means you are not allowed to do something to someone who is higher than you"

"You know what,you are right Van Ashtron,Being at the bottom sucks "

We are eating peacefully ,but not until I saw a demon, Zymophore Kriegspiel is going on our way.

Zymophore Kriegspiel tapped Thunder Kade's shoulder.

"Oh hi, President"

"Thunder Kade right?"

"Yes I am Thunder Kade, President"

"Just call me ZK"

"Sure,Nice meeting you ZK"

They shake the hands of each other.

"You know what Thunder Kade, you can be a Talon,You should be with me because we are of the same kind. You should not be with Betty she is a cripple and cripples are worthless"

"Sorry, ZK but I would still choose Betty and it isn't true that she is worthless"

"I gonna go, bye Thunder Kade"

"Bye ZK"

When Zymophore Kriegspiel is gone I rolled my eyes.

"That ZK is so harsh"

"Yes,you are right Kayisha Denise,and I hate him from hell and back"

When the school ended we walked together to go home.

Star Frappe

I saw a store of frappes.

"Guys look, a Frappe store!!"

"Woah,I want to buy some but I only bring 200 pesos in my wallet"

"Its okay, look their price list says that one Frappe only cost ₱59."

All of us are sipping the cold Frappe that we had bought,the store is near the elementary school of Lumil.

When we arrived home,My phone rung

"Anak,answer it"

It is Dad who is calling.

"Hello?"

"Hello my dear,We really missed you the our meeting is over,can you go here?"

"Okay Dad I will go,On what hotel?"

"Seda hotel at Nuvali"

"Okay Bye"

I ended the call and borrowed the key of my car from Mang Isko.

I drive by my self and when I arrived at Nuvali I want straight to the lobby of the hotel. I texted Dad.

I saw Mom and Dad going on my way they looked very excited because they haven't seen me for 4 years.

When they reached me they hugged me so tight,I think that's the tightest hug I've ever received from them.

"My dear we missed you so much"

I also missed them but I want to hear from them that Annica Beatrice is really my twin.

"Mom,Dad, do I have a twin?"

"Argonne,my dear of course you don't you are our one and only child"

"Really?"

"My dear who told you that you had a twin?"

"No one told me"

"Then my dear why are you asking that kind of question?"

I bring out a picture of Annica Beatrice.

They looked at the picture,They looked so shocked.

"If I really don't have a twin then who is she?"

I feel so betrayed for knowing that my parents are hiding such a big thing from me ,

And if she is really my twin why did Mom and Dad let her live like a rat.

If she's not my twin then why did she looked exactly like me ?

Tears from my eyes started to roll

"My dear let us explain what happened."
