''Sigh, you really are still too naive, Jajah. Now that we have awakened, not only can we steal, but we can also rob others. From Thieves, we can become Robbers!'' Ben who was ''bright'' and ''wise'' suddenly responded. A confident or, more precisely, an arrogant smile appeared on his face.
''What? Then does that mean we will also kill people since we are planning to rob them?'' Jajah replied innocently. She scratched her head as hesitation and unwillingness filled her eyes.
''Ah,'' Ben was caught off guard. He didn't expect her to say something like that. As mere youngsters, was it normal for them to kill?
Ben doubted it. He couldn't help but also scratch his head.
On the other hand, Jax shuddered when he heard what Jajah had said. This girl had a terrifying thought!
So, afraid that their conversation might go more awry, Jax decided to interfere. He looked at their Master, revealed a smile, and then he scratched the back of his head.
And then he asked, ''Umm... Master, do you have any measuring device that can test out our abilities? We want to know the attribute type of the abilities we awakened as well as their affinity.''
Since their Master was so capable, he should at least have what he asked for, right? Although Jax actually doubted it.
''Hmm... Let me see...'' Heretic Saint replied as he put his hand into his pocket.
Well, he already knew their awakened abilities. But since he was too lazy to explain, he decided to bring out that device.
Jax smiled bitterly when he saw what his Master was doing. Could he put many things in that pocket?
''Oh, I still have the thing you're looking for,'' Heretic Saint suddenly spoke again.
After which, he pulled his hand out of his pocket together with the thing he had found.
But strangely enough, the thing he brought out of his pocket was too large to fit in it. In fact, it was way too large to the point that it wasn't supposed to be put inside a pocket.
Thud!
Heretic Saint dropped it on the ground, producing a loud heavy thud. Surprisingly, it was a chair. A metallic and rusty-looking chair.
There was also a metallic helmet on the chair. Several wirings were attached to it, so that the chair and the helmet would be connected to each other.
''...'' Jax and his comrades were speechless seeing that chair. How did their Master bring out such a huge thing from his pocket?
And also, wasn't that an electric chair used to execute criminals?
It couldn't be that their Master was actually trying to...
''Who the hell designed this horrible thing? You call this a measuring device? Isn't this more like an execution chair?'' Amidst their thoughts, Ben suddenly blurted out his remarks. A frown took over his face, displeased with what he had seen.
Fortunately for him, Heretic Saint didn't make a move against him this time. Instead, he only revealed a faint but proud smile.
''Come, come, let's try if this thing still works,'' Heretic Saint spoke as he suddenly went in the direction of Ben. Without the other party's consent, he grabbed his wrist and pulled him up from the ground.
Ben wanted to refuse, but before he knew it, he was already there sitting on the metallic chair. To his shock, metallic handcuffs that were attached to the armchairs and the front feet of the metallic chair had already tied his arms and legs helpless.
To add salt to the wound, his Master right now was putting on the metallic helmet to his head.
''Wait, wait, I still haven't agreed to it yet!'' Ben finally got the chance to complain. He cried, and tried to break free from the handcuffs.
But it was to no avail, no matter how furious he tried.
Helpless, he called out to his friends desperately, ''Leader! Jajah! Meca! Leo! Someone help me get out of this thing!''
To his horror, his friends didn't move an inch at all to help him. Instead, they only looked away as if they didn't hear or see anything.
Jajah even tried to whistle in some random tone.
Ben was yet again furious.
His friends actually betrayed him!
To think that...

Before Ben could think and curse anything more, Heretic Saint finally put the helmet on to his head. Ben naturally had no time to curse his traitorous friends anymore. Instead...
''Please, Master... Don't kill me. I promise I will be a good boy from now on!'' Ben pleaded, tears streaming down to his cheeks.
It was the first time he had actually begged someone.
He really wanted to live!
But Heretic Saint only smiled widely in response. He raised his hand and there he showed a small remote control with a red button on it.
''Don't worry, this won't take long.'' Heretic Saint said as he added, ''Even if you actually die, I'll just revive you over and over again.''
Ben shuddered from those words. His despicable Master was actually trying to torture him! Just what deed did he do wrong for him to suffer like this? He shouldn't have trusted him in the first place. This was really...

Before Ben could speak another word, Heretic Saint had already pushed the red button. Electricity of white and blue suddenly engulfed Ben's body. And, within seconds, he vanished from existence, leaving only dark ashes behind.
Jax was taken aback by what he had seen. He suddenly began to release cold sweats and swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Even Jajah and Leovicente were no exception as they also found their hearts racing.
Did Ben really just die and disappear with only his ashes being left behind?
It couldn't be that...
''Now, who's next?'' Holding the "execution helmet", Heretic Saint asked with a wide grin. His face was no different from the face of the devil.
''Le-leader... Should we escape?'' Jajah couldn't help but ask with a frightened tone as her face went pale. Leovicente was as worried and scared as her. And it couldn't be denied that Jax had the same thoughts and feelings as them.
Should they really escape from this monster?
What about their friend, Ben...
Rustle.
Their thoughts were still running wild and scary when, suddenly, Mecaella stood up from the ground. They followed their gazes at her, but they didn't say anything. She walked forward, in the direction of the "execution chair".
Mecaella glanced at her Master with a smile as she sat directly on the execution chair. The handcuffs bound her shortly after that.
Then she said, ''Now it's my turn, Master.''
No worries or agitation could be heard from her tone of voice. As if she knew exactly what she was doing and what that thing was.
There was nothing to be afraid of.
''You seem to know this thing as well.'' Heretic Saint shook his head slowly as he responded with a knitted chin. He sighed, then he continued, ''How boring. You've ruined the fun.''
''Haha, please forgive me, Master. I really want to test out my ability now,'' Mecaella replied with a soft chuckle.
As expected, she really knew what that thing was.
