[Your skills...] No.111 blinked her eyes multiple times as she added, [You've actually got growth-type passive and active skills! That's something really rare, you know? You may already know this, but you will be able to upgrade your skills without using specific stones. Isn't that a good thing? You should know that such stones are extremely rare and expensive.]
No.111 gently tapped the back of Jax's shoulder thrice to comfort him somehow as she added, [Don't lose hope kid. It might be a pain in the ass, but it seems like your skills are forcing you to work hard. Maybe someday, you'll be able to upgrade them to Mythical grade? It won't hurt to keep dreaming, right?]
She said it as if she was making it obvious that she herself found it hard to believe her own words.
"..." Jax smiled bitterly in response. He was shocked when someone suddenly appeared right beside him and spoke so much nonsense. He even almost instinctively hit her in response.
But to see that it was just the guide who couldn't see his hidden stats, he couldn't help but restrain his frustration with bitterness.
''Yes, yes, thank you for your concern,'' Jax finally replied. Seriously, was this thing even trying to comfort him?
[So, are you done yet? Can I send you off now?] No.111 asked with an impatient smile, as if his stay in there for another second would be a huge trouble for her.
Jax scratched the back of his head with a wry smile. Did she really need to make it so obvious?
Helpless, Jax gave up as he replied, ''Alright, alright, you can send me back now.''
Now that he learned everything he needed to know about himself, there was no need for him to stay there. He just decided that later on, once he went back, he would go to the Town and find the Temple or any of the Supreme Government Facilities.
Joining the guild or any affiliation would work out well too. As long as they had that device that could trade Blessing Points into stats.
He would allocate the 10 Blessing Points he had to his stats!
[Alright, let's not bother each other ever again. Bye!] No.111 replied with a faint smile.
Jax could only smile bitterly in response. He didn't reply anymore. Was it because she thought that he was a failure? He felt like this thing didn't like him at all.
No.111 raised her hand and snapped her fingers. With that, Jax disappeared from where he stood as he had been teleported back to where he came from.
Jax wasn't surprised when he saw how the other party sent him off. It happened just in an instant. He just closed his eyes and there, when he opened them again, he found himself sitting on the same metallic chair that he first thought was an execution device.
''You're back,''
A familiar voice greeted him shortly after he arrived. Jax shifted his gaze at the source of that voice and, just as he expected, it was Mecaella.
He greeted her back with a smile as he stood up from where he was seated and said, ''How was it? Did you have a good time too?''
''Hehe, of course,'' Mecaella replied with a soft chuckle. Her smile said it all. It seemed like she liked the ability she awakened.
Now that Jax thought about it, did she also awaken a Forbidden grade skills and ability?
He felt like that was likely the case. Since they had the same Master. Now that he thought about it, was there still a need for him to hide his ''top secrets'' from them?
Jax didn't know anymore. He sighed and shook his head slowly. But only then he noticed something was amiss.
''Where's the others?'' Jax suddenly asked, he swept his gaze around him but he didn't find his other friends. Even his Master and the Mythical beast were not there as well.
''They are outside,'' Mecaella replied with short words.
''Outside?'' Jax repeated as he subconsciously shifted his gaze outside the tree cave. To his surprise, an explosion occurred the moment he had his eyes outside.
''What happened?!'' Jax had his eyes widened. For that kind of explosion to happen outside, Awakeners of at least Advance rank must be fighting outside. Was there another intruder?
''Wait here, Mecaella. I'll assess the situation first.'' Jax said as he didn't wait for her response and rushed his way outside the tree cave. He didn't want to make the same mistake again where he would put his friends in danger. He needed to be extra careful in every action he would make.
''Sigh,'' Mecaella could only sigh in response as he watched the back of Jax leaving. That guy didn't even give her the chance to explain.
Helpless, she stayed there to wait for Leovicente. She didn't want her friend to find no one once he came back.
A moment later...
''This...'' Jax had his lips twitching violently shortly after he got outside. After all, what greeted him wasn't an invasion, but something that could only trouble his mind.
Thud!!
Another loud thud resounded. Then...
''Kwahahaha, how's that, little girl?! My Forbidden grade Primal Bone is much better than yours, right? You can't even come close to me whahaha,'' Ben's voice echoed. His arrogant laughter and smug tone filled the area.
Looking at him, five daggers that seemed to be made of bones were floating behind him, forming a circle. No, it wasn't really a dagger. But something more like bone ribs.
He was also wielding a longer bone rib in his right hand, as if he was using it as his sword.
But from the looks of it, he seemed to be just throwing out his bone weapons against Jajah.
''What are you even talking about, you pest? You can't even leave a scratch on my body, and you dare say that your Primal Bone is better than my Primal Fire?'' Jajah screamed in response. Looking at her, her clothes were in a total mess. Although she was perfectly unharmed, her pride was obviously hurt.
And she couldn't accept the fact that Ben, that bastard, was beating her one-sidedly right now. She wanted to give him a good punch right in his face, but her situation couldn't allow her. That bastard was just too much of a pussy, always pushing her away with those little toys he had when she was trying to near her distance.
''Kwahahaha, Primal Fire my ass. Why don't you throw me some fireballs if that's the case?'' Ben responded with a sneering laughter, as if he was talking to a complete fool. He raised his left hand forward, prepared to attack, and then he said, ''From what I see, what you awakened is Primal Body. You're a total brute kwahahaha, a total punching meat bag!''
After that, Ben threw the bone rib he was holding toward Jajah, leaving her no space to come closer.
Jajah, on the other hand, could only block the incoming attack with her bare body. Although the attack itself couldn't harm her, its pushing effect that always blew her flying away was just way too annoying.
Boom!
And just like that, Jajah took the full-blown attack as she was sent backward with her feet sliding on the ground again. She couldn't help but grit her teeth. And she couldn't help but curse her Master too.
Why then did he even give her a useless ability? What she wanted was an elemental type, something like a fire that could burn down everything.
Yet what he gave her was the same as what her family already had?
A physical type!
How could she become her dream Battlemage with that?! The Battlemage Class that was adept at both elemental magic and physical body strengthening.
As indignant as she was, Jajah couldn't do anything about her Master. She could only vent all her anger on Ben who was trying to annoy her so much.
''Don't make me come close to you, you bastard!'' In the end, Jajah cursed aloud. She rushed forward and finally used her Forbidden skill.
Or at least that was what she thought of it.
Having said that, Jajah then screamed, ''Eat my Forbidden skill, Superfast Charger!''
Meanwhile...
''These brats... Did they already reveal their trump cards? And they even shouted it aloud?'' Jax couldn't help but swallow a mouthful of saliva as he went on, ''Just how stupid could they get?''
