Luna

Sam and Victoria led the way. Steve and Alex were right on his tail. Annabeth and Sedrick were right behind them. Walking through the kingdom, villagers were seen hard at work. Farmers tended to their crops. Corn, carrots, potatoes, and wheat.

A few villagers were caring for their beloved cattle, pigs, sheep, and chickens. The day was nearing its end. No one kept track of time. The day flew by. Everyone was having too much fun to care about the time of day.

Bumblebees buzzed as they flew from flower to flower, the tiny green frogs hopped as they chased after the pesky flies flying around. Nearby, there was a lake. Floating on the surface of the lake were lime green colored lily pads. Some of the lily pads were occupied by frogs.

They rightfully claimed those lily pads. Any other frog that tried to jump up onto the lily pads were scared off by the already lounging frogs.

"The castle's just up ahead," Sam mentioned as he pointed to the looming castle. It was large and very tall. Entirely made of cobblestone. The architecture of the castle was out of this world amazing.

A shadow suddenly flew over everyone. It startled Steve, Alex, and Annabeth. Sedrick didn't get scared. He was showing Sam and Victoria that he could be brave. Even if that meant he loved unicorns.

Everyone looked up. A baby dragon was landing. It's belly was yellow, while it's wings were a teal color. The rest of its body was green. The baby dragon's ears were flaming red. It even had red whiskers that hung down from the sides of his snout. Beautiful, but scary.

"Oh I almost forgot," Sam said as he turned around to look at everyone. The baby dragon landed behind him, lowering her head so that Sam could pet her. "This is Luna. Don't worry. She won't bite. She's a friendly girl, aren't you Luna?"

She closed her eyes, indicating she was enjoying the attention she was getting from Sam. By the looks of it, she didn't seem scary. She was indeed friendly.

"Why don't you pet her for yourself?" Sam asked. "She loves the attention."

Steve and Alex were the first to approach this cuddly beast. They held out their hands so that she could sniff them. Sedrick had to show everyone he was brave. Letting Steve and Alex take the spotlight from him, wasn't going to fly with him. He stomped on over to Luna, pushing Steve and Alex out of the way.

Sedrick didn't let Luna sniff him. He began petting her. She didn't like how rude he was. If anyone knew better, it was not to force yourself upon a dragon. Something bad could and will happen. Unfortunately, the unexpected happened.

Luna backed away from Sedrick. That upset him. She began growling at him, warning him to stop what he was doing. He didn't listen to her fair warning. Luna opened her mouth.

Sedrick froze. He stared into her dark mouth. He could see her pointy, sharp white teeth and her pink tongue. Towards the back of her throat, a glowing light began to grow brighter.

"You all might want to step out of the way," Sam warned, "don't want to be in the way of that."

"Someone help me," Sedrick said as fire blasted out of her mouth, engulfing him in flames. He was only being burned momentarily. She didn't blast fire at him very long. Luna only did it to teach him a lesson.

When she stopped, she was breathing heavily. Every time she exhaled, gray smoke emerged from her nose. As for Sedrick, he was frozen. His clothes, which are normally white, are covered in black ash from Luna's flames.

The entire Kingdom was staring at him. Steve and Alex couldn't help themselves. Together they laughed hysterically at Sedrick. Being brave has its ups and downs. But also being naive has its consequences. In Sedrick's case, he was burned. To be fair, Luna did warn him after all.

As the day came to an end, the sky began to transition from day to night. Stars began to twinkle and shine. The moon began to rise as the sun continued to set.

The lanterns around the Kingdom began flickering to life one by one. Everyone was beginning to finish up their activities for the evening. Annabeth ran over to Sedrick. She had wanted to make sure he was okay.

"Sedrick?" She questioned, "are you okay?" Annabeth asked as she waved her arm in front of his face rapidly. It's almost as if he had become a statue.

"I—I don't know," Sedrick mumbled back. He was clearly in pain. Maybe that's why he's not able to move?

"Take him to the health clinic," Sam said to Alex, "he'll feel better there."

Alex gently grabbed Sedrick's hand. Even though he was in pain, he needed to walk over to the health clinic. Hopefully when he's there, he'll feel better. Alex and Sedrick were gone. Steve, Victoria, and Annabeth remained. Luna was sitting, her head lowered so that Sam could pet her again.

"He kind of had that coming," Sam said, "he upset Luna so he deserved that."

"I'm just glad he's still alive," Steve mentioned, "but I agree with you Sam. He did deserve that."

"Well then," Sam said, "who's ready for another flying experience?"

"At night?" Victoria questioned, "you know flying at night is dangerous. We don't need to put our friends in danger."

Sam turned his head to look at Victoria. By the looks of the expression on his face, he seemed a bit irritated. The dangers that are out there have always been at large. But the evil entities that lurk out there in the night are ground-stricken. The last time Sam could recall an evil entity flying was when the nighthawk was still alive. But the nighthawk was killed many years ago.

"They've been in danger ever since they've arrived," Sam said, "you know the Brine Family is looking for them."

"The Brine family?" Steve questioned, "who are they?"

"No one you need to worry about Steve," Victoria responded. "As long as I'm around you'll all be safe."

"Don't worry about them Steve," Sam said, "let's go for a ride."

Steve and Annabeth along with Victoria all reluctantly got on Luna's back. Sam climbed up onto her back as well.

"Luna," Sam said, "spread your wings and take off."

Luna spread her long wings straight out. She bent her knees and then jumped up into the air, immediately flapping her wings. Off they went, on another flying adventure around the OverWorld and through the biomes.

As Luna and the others flew away, hiding behind a couple of cacti were HeroBrine, NetherBrine, and EnderBrine. They saw Luna flying overhead and away from the Kingdom. The Kingdom was in close proximity to them.

"When do we attack?" HeroBrine asked his father EnderBrine.

"When they return," EnderBrine said, "that's when we'll attack."

"Why are these people so important to you? What is it about them that you're so obsessed with them?" NetherBrine asked.

"They came from an island full of valuable metals. Tons of gold, emeralds and diamonds. I want what they had. I thought the pirates were enough, but they weren't. Now I'm taking matters into my own hands," EnderBrine said.
