Golem in the Garden (Edited)

Rose's question wasn't met with an answer in the form of words but rather this odd feeling of personal familiarity. It was like she recognized this place but that was impossible, right? Rose was reasonably sure she would remember a place so vibrant and filled with color. As she took her first step forward this time sinking into a patch of colorful flowers. Rose lifted her foot only to see the flowers slowly perking back up, shining with the same vibrancy they had before. "I guess that's kind of weird but it's definitely beats that black void."

"Believe me friend, that will not be the weirdest thing you see today." Without missing a beat Rose turned around expecting to find the floating mask of Aerous behind her, but much to her surprise standing behind Rose was a giant person. Their body looked to be made of vines, up-rooted trees, and moss-covered stone. All these materials came together to form a semi-humanoid body so big that one of the arms was the length of Rose's entire body.

This stone person didn't have much of a body type for that so Rose couldn't tell what gender they were, with the only distinguishing feature being a glowing core murky-green light. Rose looked up at the immense figure put on her best smile and spoke without trying to faint."I'm not trying to sound rude here, but I've never seen anyone like you before so who are you, what are you, and where am I? It would also be nice if you could answer in that order."

The stone person did nothing but let out an amused chuckle before kneeling to Rose's bewildered gaze. Rose stepped back hesitantly and watched as the green light slowly left its core, traveling through the vines that made up one of their massive arms until it reached a large stone eye. Their body slumped forward as a beam of emerald energy then burst out of their eye as the stone figure made a gesture to come closer.

A gravely then voice echoed from the creature almost causing Rose the clear her throat out of reflex. "Just look right here, and all will be revealed." Rose took a second to study the person in front of her, taking note of their defenseless position their inferential way of speaking.

"This isn't going to hurt, is it?" Some of the rock that made up their shoulders just move up and down indicating that they didn't really know either. "I'm sorry to say I provide any insight for I have yet to go through the experience." Rose slowly made her way closer to the being and though the thought to run had crossed her mind. But she couldn't help but feel like she could trust this person. "Well here goes nothing I guess." Rose moved in close albeit hesitantly and made direct eye contact with the kneeling stone giant.

Nothing happened initially but after a while, Rose's body began to feel kind of numb. "At least it isn't hurting, that's a positive." The feeling was small at first but it then began making its way to her legs. Rose could do nothing but stand there in anticipation as she continued to stare into the giants kaleidoscopic eye. After a while, she could no longer feel the ground under her. "Well so much for the positives." Before Rose realized it there she was again standing in pitch-black darkness. But it was different this time, she could feel her heart racing and for some reason, it scared her.

The feeling of being physical again filled her head with all sorts of ideas, being able to eat delicious foods, jumping around in beds of delicate flowers. Falling and breaking a limb, getting attacked by a wild creature, being torn away from the people she cared about, to die again. My head felt like it was being split in half when this familiar burning feeling began welling up in my chest as my body instantly froze in its place.

Rose just stood there frozen in place once again finding myself trapped in another dark prison. Except there was a cruels twist of irony that she couldn't hep but notice. She was the one who put herself there. "I wonder how many eons it'll take before another ball of light comes to snatch me away again?" Rose was prepare to wait but it didn't mean she had to be happy about it."

"I sincerely hope I didn't keep you waiting that long." The voice Rose heard was similar to that of her own even if they spoke with more confidence than she could currently muster. The woman in front of Rose looked like she had been fighting all her life, Rose could see a multitude of scars covering her bronze skin. The majority of her body was wrapped in simple robes that didn't cover her arms. Rose could see all the cuts and bruises that decorated her toned arms.

"Are you going to speak or are you just going to keep staring at yourself like a piece of meat?" She asked with a smirk. Rose's eyes continued to wander aimlessly across her body one last time before snapping forward to meet her piercing gaze. "I didn't mean to stare. You're just so beautiful did you just say you are me?
