Chapter 72: Annoying Twin Devil (2)

The dust was blown away together with the nearby trees as the shockwave of the explosion assaulted them! Everyone looked on at the center of the commotion as the dust slowly settled down.

A few seconds later, three shadow figures could be seen. When everything became clear, all the Nascent Soul enemies was shocked at the scene. Only those who entered the Soul Projection Realm seemed to be able to keep their composure.

Shu Feng was holding two swords in his two hands. The Glutonny and the Crane Sword was placed on his front and back respectively while piercing two kids in their heart!

He appeared to be calm on the outside but was cursing deep inside him. If he had been slow to react at that time, he would have receive some injuries that might hinder him to battle in the long run.

The Twin Devil appeared to be pierced in their heart! But Shu Feng did not rejoice nor became happy with this happening since he knows that this two Devils in front of him are mere illusions and nothing more.

Just as he thought, the two of them turned into a puff of smoke which dispersed into thin air. Shu Feng fixed his cloths and looked at the direction just ahead of him.

There, he could see the two Devils jumping and hoping around while singing some kind of annoying song.

A few minutes ago, when he was just about to used Time Lapse, he felt a danger coming directly towards him which made him cancel his skill and took out his two swords to defend himself.

When Shu Feng used the skill, the time in reality won't change but in his own perspective, he could see the things that would happen in that designated time. That means, when he tried to lapse the time for about ten seconds, everything that is bound to happen within that time frame would play out in front of him but after the ten seconds Time Lapse, the scenery would turn back to where it is before that ten seconds. The reality won't change but everything that would happen is already known by him!

But there is a flaw in this skill. Some enemies won't be affected if they are not bound by the time and if they have the power to control the time itself. He could not also move to any direction while the skill was playing. Although he could turn around but the distance he is in would be limited to where he stands before the skill was casted.

The Twin Devil already appeared in front and at his back respectively when he is just about to cast Time Lapse and because he couldn't move to other direction during the skill, he didn't have any choice but to cancel it and immediately take out Glutonny and the Crane Sword to pierced his enemies.

But the two of them were too fast! Shu Feng knows that his speed is only comparable to those at the First Stage Soul Projection Realm and to compete with a speed of someone at the Fourth Stage is simply impossible. Luckily, his battle instict kick in and he was able to react on time.

But deep inside him, he knows that the Two Devils could injure him if they wanted to. It's just that they seemed to be the type that loves to play with their enemies. And that thought made Shu Feng irritated. It was this time that he realized that he needs a technique to enhance his strength!

What's the used of a strong physical body if he could not even land a single strike to his enemy?

'That speed..' Zen Fu though to himself while looking at the Twin Devil that is hoping and jumping around with a grave expression. Although he could match it with his own speed, he knows that the two of them could exert more!

He suddenly look towards Shu Feng who was holding two swords in both of his hands while standing on his spot with a cold expression. He would have never expected that the kid could react on time! That fact was more shocking than the speed that the two Devils executed!

The First Devil bit his lips while looking at Shu Feng with his face full of hatred. He wanted to kill him but the Twin Devil seemed to be enjoying theirselves and he couldn't just intervene in fear that he would offend those two freaks.

As for the Silent Devil, he is just watching the show without showing any emotion. He looked at Zen Fu's direction and slowly raise his gigantic axe. He is not interested in fighting someone like Shu Feng.

Zen Fu sense something off and looked back at the Silent Devil who was raising his axe towards him. He never expected that someone at the Sixth Stage would dare to challenge him. But he didn't dare to belittle his enemies since the day that he met Shu Feng. What if someone from the members of the Blood Skull Society is the same as that monster?! With that thought, he always keep his guard up even when facing someone at the Nascent Soul Realm!

You are just overthinking old man. Someone like our main character is not just a piece of sand that you could find anywhere at a desolated place like here.

Zen Fu bends his two feet and prepared for a massive charge which created a crack in the radius of one hundred meters around him! He really deserve to be someone at the Seventh Stage of Soul Projection Realm! Just with his single charge could already create such scene!

Just like how fast a light travels, Zen Fu disappeared from his spot in a flash and instantly appeared in front of the Silent Devil in a split second after crossing a great distance between them!

He assumed a punching stance and he fired his fist which created a recoiling force around him that pushed back everyone around him and the Silent Devil.

The giant devil didn't assault too fast nor too slow. As the fist was just about to hit his abdomen, the axe suddenly landed in front of Zen Fu in attempt to slice him in half!

'BOOOM!!!!'

A massive explosion was produced as the fist and axe met each other! The shockwave cause by the explosion created a strong force that blew away everyone around them! The First Devil and the others are like a kite facing a tornado without a string holding them!

They are totally being blown away without the slightest bit of respect!

'Damn!' The First Devil cursed inside himself. He would have never thought that he would suffer two times today. He is first forced to step back from a strike of someone he considered weak and now he ia blown away without even reserving any respects for him!

The fist and axe never touch each other like there was a field of energy between the two that keeps on entangling with great force! No one backed down from the clash and their strength seemed to be equal!

But after a few breaths, the Silent Devil was blown away and force to take twenty steps back before he could stabilize himself! It is only common since Zen Fu is someone that is a stage highet than the Silent Devil.

But it was unexpected for the giant to be blown away since his own physical body is his own forte and he is confident in withstanding a attack or impact from someone at the Seventh Stage or even an average Eight Stage Soul Projection Realm!

But Zen Fu is not your average cultivator either. During his injured state, he always deepened his understanding toward his realm and it reached a very high degree of comprehension! With the pill that he took, all of his efforts paid off and his strength is not something a mere average Eight Stage Soul Projection Realm could withstand!

And the fact that he is fighting right now also comes with another reason, he wanted to test his overall strength back then but no one is worthy enough to be his opponent. He could not just ask Shu Feng to be his sparring partner after all. So when he saw the Silent Devil attacking him, he took this chance to test his power.

Shu Feng watched the fight fold in front of him and nodded his head in approval about the strength that the old man showed. He really deserve to be someone that is groomed by an Immortal.

The odd thing is the Silent Devil. He checked his status a while ago and something unusual appeared. He is at the Peak Stage of Mortal Body! But his physical defense is not that powerful as he expected it to be!

Isn't it only right if he could withstand an impact from just someone at the Seventh Stage?! But Shu Feng didn't remember that he is already special and the effects of his cultivation method would exert every bit of potential that he had until it reach the limit.

Normally, Mortal Body would be invinsible in all the Mortal Realm while Emperor Body is invinsible in the Emperor Realm and same goes to the Immortal Body.

But that knowledge is only limited to the humans since that is the limit of their potential. But some beings is not limited by just merely realm such as Shu Feng himself. He got a overpowered cultivation methods, special body, Chaos Energy and of course UG himself.

If all of this is added up, common sense wouldn't be able to make a pave way in defining the strength and limit of Shu Feng.
