Chapter 105

Destiny was set up in the inner city and quickly drew a large crowd. She had quite a few returning customers and a few new ones who traveled from other cities after hearing of her work. Rolen watched carefully on each transaction, and he quickly realized how much of a fortune Zack gave him.

All of the custom orders had already been picked up, and bidding wars were already beginning on the remaining inventory. When this happened a demon wearing a luxurious fur coat approached escorted by a band of guards. The woman closely examined Destiny's work and had a look of irritation. After hearing one of the kimono's go for a thousand gold she could no longer stay silent.

"These clothes aren't bad but that's simply too much don't you think?" Camila announced.

"Given the quality, it's more than worth it."

"If your not buying get out of the way!"

"You're holding up the line!"

Camila was appalled by the crowd's reaction. Typically people would beg for her dresses, and suck up in any way possible to get them. Yet all of them so crudely shrugged her off without concern for the repercussions.

"The quality of the silk is indeed better, but how's the durability?" Camila declared.

The crowd stopped momentarily. Arachne silk was of higher quality and much more durable than the average materials in Camila's clothing. However, Camila had a team of enchanters working on her gear. Destiny was nervous in large crowds, and all the stares made it difficult to respond. Rolen was preparing to interject when a familiar voice came from the back.

"The durability is indeed superior, and I can prove it." Zack declared walking up with Kaya.

The crowd turned to Zack seeing the elegant suit he was wearing. He knew exactly what was going on, and the cause of chaos stood before him. Zack glared at Camila walking towards the stand casually. All of the women in the crowd became captivated by the brilliance he radiated. Zack walked up kissing Destiny passionately as whispers filled the crowd.

"You say that because she's your who...."

Lightning struck the center of the market interrupting Camila's shouting as the sky rapidly darkened. Everyone turned around seeing the damaged street and the storm brewing above them. The air around Camila grew thinner, and her group was overcome with an overbearing force making them struggle to stay standing. The crowd turned back towards the stand to return to the argument. As the whispers in the crowd grew Camila was frozen in place as a pair of golden eyes stared dead at her.

"Wanna repeat that I must've misheard you over the thunder," Zack said in a cold tone.

Zack was emitting a radiance that no one could look away from. The only ones who felt fear from it were the hostile demons with Camila. Everyone else was captivated by the light trickling around him, and the soothing sensation it gave them looking into it. They became drawn to him, and they were unsure why.

Camila raised her hand attempting to call over more guards but they didn't budge. She was furious at their cowardice ordering the guards to quickly drew their weapons. They displayed killing intent pointing them in Zack's direction, and it was a clear display for everyone to see.

With weapons drawn, they attempted to step forward, but couldn't move. The guards looked down confused why their bodies wouldn't budge as their hands quaked forcing them to drop the weapons. Looking up they noticed Zack's gaze was fixated on them. He appeared to be gripping the air in his hand, but they couldn't sense or see any magic.

The only thing they could feel was a powerful force tightly wrapped around their hands and legs restricting them. The guards flexed their auras struggling to break free, and one even managed to take a step forward until more pressure was exerted.

A loud series of squelching and popping noise ensued along with the men shouting in pain. They fell to their knees glancing at their tremblings hands. The guards could see their hands were distorted exposing bone, and dripping blood into the ground. Zack had returned them the same courtesy shown to Jacob.

"Shouldn't have pointed your weapons like that." Kaya shook her head.

"Don't you know who I am? Arrest him!" Camila shouted looking at the royal guards.

Camila's blue face went pale seeing the royal guards were drenched in sweat. The look in their eyes was one of pure fear, and it a sight she had never witnessed before. Each of the royal guards watching witnessed the final moments of Zack's last battle.

The image of Modestus being annihilated with a touch still gave them nightmares. Zack's gaze met them showing he didn't intend to harm them, but they still lowered their heads staring into the street. They displayed their hands carefully showing they had no intent to touch their weapons. His gaze fell back to Camila with an expression showing he wouldn't ask again.

"S-shes your woman making yo-your opinion biased. I a-apologize for the outburst, but I saw the people getting swindled, and had to take action." Camila lowered her head to Destiny lurking back to the cover of the crowd.

'You wouldn't dare assault the people now would you.'

Zack walked over to the side and ensured the area behind him was clear. His eyes returned to normal as he nodded at Kaya. She walked up taking the dagger from her back swiftly cutting across his chest before leaping back. Kaya lifted the blade displaying its quality before hurling it into the stone street with ease. She retrieved the dagger showing it was unfazed before resheathing it.

"That shimmer could only be mithril!"

"Look his suit isn't even frayed!"

Camila was prepared to argue the strength was insufficient, but Kaya raised her hand forming a fireball. It was an apprentice-level spell but hit him point black striking Zack in the center of his chest. The material had soot on it, but nothing else. With a simple dusting, the white suit regained its former brilliance. Zack walked back up to Destiny's side with a smile.

The crowd was in awe seeing the level of durability, and after a brief silence erupted offers for her services. More customers had lined up than before, and they all began retrieving items they could trade.

A few new customers were only watching due to the scene with the guards and only visited the innercity for combat gear. Seeing the quality of the clothes they immediately took interest in joining the auction.

Clothes that could resist that much damage could save your life in a crucial moment when your guard was down. To them, it was an ideal gift that their loved ones would enjoy, and could also serve an important purpose.

"Do you have any more complaints, or can she continue her work?" Zack asked with a smirk placing his arm around Destiny's waist.

Camila was furious, but couldn't think of a retort. She regretted starting the spectacle begin with cause no she couldn't deny the facts. Destiny's clothing was superior, and she angered a prominent figure in the process.

The guards she attempted to call were often bribed to look the other way. If they wouldn't lift a finger, and the royal guards stared in fear it was clear no one in the city would stand against Zack. Camila turned around in defeat plotting a way to get revenge.

'I'll have to outsource again.'

"Keep your eyes on that woman. She will be dealt with soon, but she's still dangerous." Zack relayed to the others.

"I'll watch over them," Kaya replied.

"They can't act out here after that display. Nighttime seems to be their preference anyway, but stay here till we gather for the auction just to be safe." Zack told Destiny and the others.

"I should probably stay j..."

Zack took Kaya's hand.

"We have a date remember." Zack declared pulling her close.

Kaya blushed as Zack put his hand tenderly on her cheek.

"Your ears might go red." Zack teased touching them carefully.

Kaya punched him in the gut knocking the wind out of him.

"L-lets go before I change my mind."Kaya declared stomping as she walked off down the street.

Zack smiled as he caught up to Kaya taking her by the hand, and took them towards a fancy restaurant near the palace. When Zack walked in he made sure they were given a prestige booth viewing a gem-encrusted fountain.

Kaya seemed so intrigued by the place until she saw the uniforms. The waitresses were of different species wearing extremely skimpy dresses that closely resembled maid uniforms. Kaya stared at Zack suspiciously.

"I didn't know about the outfits and don't worry I'm only interested if you're wearing it," Zack smirked.

Kaya became flustered kicking his shin roughly, but discreetly. Once she was prepared to meet his gaze again she saw the same smirk from before. Kaya knew he was serious about his comment. Before Kaya could respond a waitress appeared.

She was a succubus with creamy skin, green eyes and wavy red hair walked up. She was eyeing Zack seductively, but Kaya's glare halted the advances. Kaya was okay with Zack pursuing other women, but this was her date. Kaya noticed the woman exposing her cleavage towards Zack. Kaya pressed her small breast against his arm kissing his cheek and giving her a smirk.

"I'm your host Tessa, and I look forward to serving you today. What can I get you two started with?" Tessa asked.

"Can you bring us some wine, and whatever the specials are for today," Zack replied.

"Sure thing gorgeous, and if you need anything else come find me," Tessa replied with a lecherous smirk.

"M-maybe Destiny can make m-me one." Kaya stuttered sliding in closer.

"You look good in anything, but I was only teasing," Zack whispered kissing her neck.

Zack grabbed her inner thigh slowly sliding higher. Kaya glanced around noticing the booth covered them almost entirely, and the only people in view were too far away to notice anything. Kaya reached over undoing his pants swiftly but discreetly.

Zack took this as the all-clear rubbing Kaya through her pants. She was stroking Zack as he slid down her pants slipping his fingers in with ease.

"Do you always walk around this wet? Your such a naughty little elf." Zack whispered fingering her faster.

Kaya buried her face into his chest muffling her moans. He stopped to work her clit carefully as she looked into his eyes.

"I'm y-your naughty e-elf," Kaya mumbled as her face went bright red from ear to ear.

Kaya grabbed Zack's hand moving it away as she slowly disappeared from his view. He could feel her tongue licking the tip of his cock gently. She stopped to suck the tip gently swirling her tongue around it, and then returned to stroking him.

Zack placed his hand firmly on the table making a bang as a butler walked by. The man looked at him with a smile as he continued carrying his tray past them. Zack glanced around prepared to stop the game, but she began sucking his balls while stroking him so passionately he couldn't speak.

It was a struggle to act as if nothing was happening when glances went their way. If it wasn't for the fountain obscuring their view they would've been discovered already.

'We're gonna get caught.'

Kaya trailed her tongue slowly up his shaft before flicking it gently against the tip. Zack placed his hand on the back of her head as she slowly enveloped him. As she bobbed up and down he began making tapping noises on the table attempting to hide the noises when people passed.

Zack could no longer tap away as he clutched the back of Kaya's head. His head leaned back resting on the cushions enjoying the pleasure until the waitress aura was returning.

"They're almost back," Zack whispered looking under the tablecloth.

"Then you better be quiet," Kaya smirked slowly engulfing him once again.

'F-fuck...'
