Chapter 228

It was almost sunrise when Zack woke up. Karin was laying on top of him and her tails were covering his body. Zack enjoyed snuggling her fluff as he waited for the sun to rise.

'I wonder if Helena is awake yet.' Zack closed his eyes focusing.

Sensing Helena's aura in a steady state Zack knew she was still sleeping. He listened to the sounds of the ocean and thought about all the blessings he had at home. There was even one in his arm, and it made him rethink his decision to visit the pit. That was when Zack recalled the young woman in the bath.

When Bethany was looking back at him there was a strong desire to see her family, and the matter seemed pressed for time. Each of them had to have someone important missing, and if taking the trip could help get answers about their world it was worth the risk.

'I need to find a way to convince Lilith to stay home. That way I could make a swift exit without being concerned for her safety...There's no way she's gonna go for that though.' Zack sighed.

With the sun preparing to rise Zack woke Karin up with a kiss, and a gentle squeeze of the ass. Karin stretched against his chest attempting to curl back up to the bed, but then the sun peered over the sea. The light-filled their hut and peered through her eyelids as she sat up blocking it with her hand as she yawned.

"It's beautiful," Karin said while sitting up from the bed.

"Wanna take a little walk before heading home?" Zack asked.

Karin smiled kissing him on the cheek as she got up to get dressed. The two strolled along the beach enjoying the rest of their time alone. While examining potential build sites Karin embraced him.

"Thank you for doing this," Karin said while resting against his chest.

"It was a great night, and I look forward to doing it again." Zack smiled.

"We should get back before the others get up," Karin replied while leaning closer.

When the two kissed Zack's wings appeared as they returned to the gate of Eden. Karin said her goodbyes then went home for a little more rest. Last night was indeed a good time, and she rested well, but that night before was pure anxiety. Karin's body still desired rest and after their numerous attempts at conception last night she needed it.

"Have a good date?" Madison asked.

Zack turned around as Madison lept down from the ramparts landing gracefully on the ground.

"I did, but since we're on the subject when do you want one?" Zack replied as the two embraced.

"I told you I'm not into such things, and you spoil me plenty already," Madison whispered into his ear.

Madison kissed down his neck tenderly before biting carefully. Zack slid his hands down her back and held her patiently. Madison reached back making him squeeze her ass firmly as she pulled away from his neck.

Madison licked the light trickle trailing down her lip as a look of pleasure swept her face. The way she was looking at Zack, and trailing her hands down her body put a smirk on his face. In an instant, Zack had Madison up against the watchtower with his hand around her neck. Zack kissed her on the side of the neck trailing up slowly as he stopped by her ear.

"You make that look in public I can only resist so much," Zack said while releasing his grip.

"Who says you have to? Everyone stayed up late celebrating, and only the sentries are roaming the city right now." Madison smiled while sliding her leg up locking him in.

Madison's body faded into a strong wind sweeping Zack into the nearby watchtower. Zack was pinned against the wall by her magic as Madison worked at his belt.

"She will be up soon, and be looking for me," Zack replied.

"I don't need that long. Tasting you makes me so wet." Madison said while guiding his cock inside.

'Fu-fuck...She's not lying.'

On the outskirts of the western district was a small forest created by Zack, and Eve. It was the start of their expansion project to provide another natural environment to Eden. On the outskirts of it was a house owned by Holly, and William.

Holly was waking up, and roaming around their home to see William was missing. She walked outside of their cabin glancing around but saw him nowhere in sight. Catching William's scent nearby she focused on watering the plants before continuing her search. While working Holly was glancing at the vacant lots outside the forest. The tranquil sounds of the woods were soothing, but it was a little lonely.

'It would be nice to have some others around. I hope he's staying out of trouble this morning.'

Near a large den in the forest, William was sprinting with a wolf right at his back. With a shockwave flowing through the forest, the wolf went soaring past him. William's body rapidly began morphing and sprinting on all fours to help close the distance.

The wolf was trying to obstruct the path to maintain its lead, but William sprung up digging his claws into the mighty trees. He propelled himself forward running along the treeline springing over the wolf. In a burst of speed, William pushed ahead reaching the den first as his body reverted into its human form.

The wolf jumped on William knocking him to the ground as he tussled the fur on its neck. A sound came from the den that made the wolf swiftly take off. The wolf reached the opening of the den looking at William as if it was waiting for him to follow.

As they entered the massive den William saw a few pups crawling around on the ground and more on the way. William sat with the wolves through the process, and when the final pup came out the liter reached a total of ten. He went into his ring retrieving food for the two and made sure to leave enough nearby.

"I'm gonna tell the others to stay clear for now, but if one of the workers lingers this way they aren't a threat. Understand?" William asked.

The wolf nodded and curled up by its mate as she cleaned the pups. Since their arrival, they have had zero issues with the wolves, but given the newborns, their instincts to defend could easily kick in. That would be the case if they were a typical wolf.

During a bandit attack, William was out hunting, and when they returned the wolf saw its home under attack. Without the slightest hesitation, it charged in devastating the bandits' ranks and left the people of Eden untouched from its wind manipulation. After this, no one had any complaints about the wolves and even began giving them special treatment.

In the world, their kind was already hunted extensively, and this was before their mutation. Recognizing the people nearby were friendly, and the food was bountiful they had no need to act out.

'I wonder what their alpha will think.'
