Chapter 353

Everyone took their seats in the wagon, but Zack joined the soldiers outside. With Ren accompanying them he wanted to ensure no issues. They marched into the Hellmouth as Zack looked back with a smile.

'Gotta make sure the precious cargo stays safe.'

They were traveling upon a jagged road that resembled obsidian. It was a struggle to descend the steep hill, and if Ozen didn't supply special mounts everyone would be walking. Leading the wagons was an unusual-looking creature.

Its body shape resembled a typical horse, but instead of fur, it had dense scales. Where the mane would typically rest was a trail of spikes. Their eyes glowed with an eerie green light that followed Zack closely.

'Why are they only staring at me?'

Each time the beast exhaled its breath resembled smoke and carried a pungent stench. The serrated hooves dug into the rocky terrain to keep them from slipping. Their bulky figures and resistance to the elements below made the gruesome trip a little smoother.

It took an hour of traveling at an incline before the terrain began to level. There they could see a wide cavern and a series of different paths. In the shadows, one could see glowing eyes watching them, but they didn't budge.

Attacking directly wasn't their style, and Ozen was glaring in their direction. Their wagons began to roll down a path with mana torches lighting the way. Even for a demon, this was an easy place to get lost when straying from the path.

'If they get close enough the mounts will freak out, and get lost.' Ozen motioned guards to the back as the mounts sped up.

They barely entered the tunnel as several figures came sprinting from the dark. Each of them possessed spider legs, and scaley skin covering their chest. Each of them pierced the cavern walls with ease as fragments rained down onto the ground.

Their eyes were pure red, and one could see elongated fangs on their bottom jaw. Across their chest were a series of demon skulls, and its shriek sent chills through the elites. They hurled their weapons, but the creatures parried with their bare hands and charged ahead.

One of them failed in its attempt and received a deep laceration across the ribs. This wound didn't slow its progress in the slightest. The miasma from his weapon had little effect on its body. Its flesh even began to repair, but Zack's spear impaled its head forcing it to slide across the ground.

"I got this just watch the wagon!" Zack ordered while gesturing with his hand.

The spear began to rotate violently and ricochet off the walls. Two of them were eviscerated before the others rapidly retreated. They could sense the spear was their bane and decided to feast on their comrades later.

With the threat handled Zack caught up to the others. He knew staying on the defense team was the right choice. The wagon was durable, but he preferred not to stress it.

If things get dangerous the wagon would be their only option for retreat. Zack came here to get answers, but not at the expense of his loved ones. Now that Zack was leading the convoy with his spear in hand others hesitated to exit.

There were a few stubborn creatures, but they didn't last long from their teamwork. In the next intersection, they came across another convoy. Combing their forces made the trip to the lower levels smooth. Now that they had extra support Zack could return to the wagon, and be at Ren's side.

When entering the next room he saw Olivia preparing drinks. Morrigan was patrolling the inside for a room, but the others lingered casually. Noticing Zack enter Olivia prepared a seat, and promptly guided him to it.

"You were supposed to take it easy." Olivia smiled.

"The same could be said to you, and it wasn't that bad anyway," Zack pulled Olivia into his lap.

"You're probably the only person to ever say that about this trip," Morrigan approached their table.

"And that's why he's my man." Lilith declared.

"You mean ours right?" Ren asked rhetorically.

"I didn't stutter," Lilith smirked.

The two locked eyes as frightful auras erupted in the tavern. Those outside the wagon didn't understand how it held together under such force. Ren was prepared to snatch Lilith from the other side of the table regardless of her current state.

"If you can't play nice we'll sleep alone tonight." Zack grabbed Lilith's thigh.

"Playing favorites?" Lilith slid his hand higher.

"I'm just asking you to wait till it's a fair fight." Zack squeezed.

"I can do that...It's not like it will make a difference anyway." Lilith taunted.

"Father always said a real warrior lets their actions do the talking." Ren retorted.

"Where's Crowley?" Zack investigated.

"Training in a back room," Olivia looked up into his eyes.

They informed Zack of the preparations made for Crowley. He knew demon etiquette was important here and decided to reward Olivia for her service. Watching her receive neck kisses, and a tender touch the others became jealous.

"Shouldn't you be tidying up?" Lilith asked rhetorically.

"I'm on vacation and servicing Master's desires only." Olivia smiled while caressing his cheek.

Entering the Underworld was having an effect on them all. Even those with a passive nature like Olivia seemed to thrive on the conflict. Making it through the trip without one of them fighting would be a miracle.

"That doesn't mean you can keep him to yourself." Tessa pressed her breast against Zack's neck.

When meeting Tessa's gaze the charm was activated, and the effects weren't easy to ignore. Receiving regular meals from Zack, and being in the Underworld was making her power rise. Feeling the swelling beneath her put a grin on Olivia's face.

Olivia discreetly tugged at Zack's pants to release him. Her body began to morph as something slimy engulfed his hips. It was still hidden from the others, but Zack was currently inside Olivia. Her insides folded tightly around him and went to work on extraction.

'H-how is she do-doing that?' Zack looked down but saw the uniform still in place.

Once a muffled groan was heard they noticed the unusual look on Zack's face. It didn't take long to determine the cause, and a chain reaction began. Crowley was checking on the progress of the trip and discovered a room of half-naked women.

'I should've gone with Mephisto.'
