Night of Surprises

"Tell me how any of this matters?! Why would we gather this stuff ?! It will only slow us down." I was shouting at Zenitsu, who simply ignored me and gathered the extra food and supplies at an abandoned house. Everything was dark and dank and I was mad.

I had witnessed a ton of shit in the two days since we left the school, but I was just downright mad. I looked like an innocent school girl on the outside (disregarding the blood on my uniform) but I was anything but that. I wiped my long black hair out of my face. I started pulling at the thick blue strand of my hair I called my "bangs" but they were too long of course. But who gives a damn!!

"And why won't those useless cunts wake up!?" I said gesturing to the two we rescued, the blond guy and a second year highschool girl with boobs so big it made me mad. I looked down at my sorry chest . At least I have abs... somehow that didn't make me feel better.

"I really wish you wouldn't use such language,". said Hesso , running his hand through his hair. "Shut up d-" I began...

" shush!" Zenitsu said suddenly. He held up his hand to quiet me. There was a soft rustling, and then a creaking sound. "Someone is here.....stay here" Zenitsu was about to move ahead when I grabbed him by his arms ,which made me blush slightly. "No, I'm going"

I took a baseball bat and carefully approached the door. I was just about to bring the bat down hard when...."STOP!"

"AWWWW SHIITT!!!" I banged my bat so hard against the floor my arms hurt for a second. A hooded figure dashed past me and would have ran who knows where had Zenitsu not caught him. I promptly dashed over as the person struggled and wrapped my arms around his chest in an effort to....

"What the--------!!!!!" I felt something very soft under my hands and my face turned redder than it ever had before. "Holy shit!! it's a girl!!!!! " Horror was written all over my face as I immediately drew back my hands and stared at them as if I had just used them to murder someone . Zenitsu was calm as ever.... "That bastard!!😤 he must have known!"

The girl, whose face I just noticed was red in the face and looked like a hot volcano , with emphasis on hot. She had her reddish- orange hair up in a ponytail with to pretty strands loose on either side of her face ,like a frame. And wow , what a figure!! While I was dumbfounded analysing this cute girl who looked like a fire fairy, Zenitsu was explaining what had just happened . The girl stood back in a corner with her arms crossed , glaring at me . I had a weakness for beauty in any form and just stared back.... should I wink at her?

"See, that's why you should always look before you do anything" said Hesso meekly.

I totally thought he was referring to ..the incident... and got mad. "Well it's not my fault I thought she was a guy. Naturally I thought she was...I mean a kid like her couldn't do shit alone now with all that's going on."

"Shut up!!!!! I'm not a kid!!!!! I'm 16!!!! and I very capable of taking care of myself!" and YOU certainly have no right to say anything to or about me!!" the red hot fairy girl steamed.

Huum, she really is one cute Lolita...."What's your name?" I asked absently. "Didn't you just hear what I said?! I'm not answering you!! .. Humph!!!" she turned her back to me with a wip of her firey hair. "Can I touch your hair ?" I prodded. "No!".. "Haha ,you answered me!" ..."Ughhhh!!! you are the child here!!!" ..."Anything you say" ...."Why you!!!"

"Enough " Zenitsu's voice rang out.

"Oh my!" her gaze fell upon Zenitsu and she looked like she had stars in her eyes."How beautiful" she murmured. "Hey Lolita girl! Don't get your hopes up! " I chuckled. My comment brought her back to reality. "What!? no! I wasn't... no! and don't call me Lolita!!!". ...."How about I call you tiger then?😏"...."No!!! My name is Shurui" she steamed.

" Huum" my face brimming over with mischief.

"Hey , they are awake," Hesso entered the main room where we were ,to tell us.

"I suddenly heard a voice like the one I had heard before call out, "Master ,I'm here."

"Hey did y'all hear something?" , I asked. "No ,why?" Hesso asked looking me intently."Oh nothing" I said hurriedly. "Are there any clothes around?"

"I found a few upstairs" Hesso said, "I can brin--".

"No need ,I'm fine by myself!"

Once upstairs I found a nice little bedroom...a girl's bedroom obviously. All the clothes were way too girly for me so I moved on to the next room....but right before I did, I noticed Wiki in the doorway. "Greetings , Master." I heard a voice say . I looked around but no one was around except Wiki . " It is I who spoke to you telepathically. I am yours and you are my master . I will always be with you. I will also entrust you with a precious gift when you are ready for it. One hinders you from receiving it now. But for now I will give you a smaller gift untill you are ready for the real gift."

Wiki stood there gently wagging her tail for a moment, the bowed her head and left . I ran to the door as soon as she turned away, but she was already gone. I suddenly felt something on my arm and looked to see a thin yet strong silver bracelet studded with sapphires. "Huh?" I didn't know what else to say. I tried to take it off to hide it, but I couldn't remove it. "What the heck.."

"Hey you!" I heard Shurui say as she suddenly grabbed my arm.."wait a minute!

huh? when did she get here? my thoughts got very slurred and blurry and my limbs felt weak. My knees began to give way as I very unceremoniously fell onto Shurui's soft chest. "Huuuuuummm"

I suddenly felt very light headed and everything began to spin..then everything went black.
