There are so many things I didn't understand, and looking back on it, I realize how it all plays together. How it happened, were I was, why Shurui (of all people) was the only one with me at the time, as well as everything else that transpired.

"Where..where am i ?"

"What happened?"

I felt something on me and a pain in my ribs. "Who?..." I opened my eyes and everything was blurry. There was this hazy darkness all around and I couldn't make out anything at all..... except for someone on me.

"Shurui??"..

She stirred as I spoke like she had been asleep for a while. As soon as she saw her position she jumped up with shock.

"What the hell you..you!" her firey eyes lit up with rage as she raised her fist. "You ..you...I oughta kill you!!!" she stormed.

"Just shut up , I have no idea why or where we are. We should set our sight on figuring that out."

She just stood there and glared at me as I stumbled around in the darkness, trying to figure out where we were. I noticed shafts of light coming from above in the distance.

*We must be underground *, I thought.

I made my way over to the light , Shurui following me from a distance, looking nervously around her. I had a very strange feeling she might have seen this place before, but I said nothing. I noticed what looked like a dog up ahead and sped up.

"Wiki?"

I found myself limping somehow. The pain I felt in my ribs was increasing steadily, but I needed to find a way out of here.

*Where are the others?*

Shurui kept following me, seeming more and more nervous with every step."Hey don't you think we should stop for a bit? I mean, you are wounded." She let out a nervous giggle. Yep that's right, a giggle. I was slightly freaked by this, but I ignored her and kept pressing further.

"If you don't want to go further, you can stay behind. I don't give a fuck"

"No ,no I'm fine" she said nervously.

I grunted and moved on. In the distance, I saw the shadow again.

"Wiki!"

"Who?" Shurui asked.

"Nothing!"

Then I saw the shadow more clearly. Yes it is Wiki! " Stop!!". I began to run...or rather, limp faster .I saw Wiki disappear behind some wall, and once I reached it , I discovered it was a tunnel.

"I strongly suggest you not go" Shurui said. Or I think it was Shurui. I saw a figure in the shadows behind me, and judging by the voice, it had to have been her. Once again I ignored her and pressed forward. after taking ten steps ,however, I fell. Fell very far down, from what I could tell. I hit the ground so hard I gasped and felt like I was about to die in agony.

I felt someone lift me up and set me on my feet. Whoever it was held me up, then I felt ...

"AAAAAAAARRRRRRRHHHHHHGGG!!!"

A horrible sensation passed over me as I felt a sharp blade penetrate my back and emerge from my chest, dripping with blood and a strange blue substance. I began coughing up blood and my body was instantly numb. I bowed my head one last time and saw steam coming off the bloody tip of the blade protruding from my chest. Was someone pulling the blade out? I couldn't feel anything. I felt no pain , despite the fact that a ton of blood kept coming from my mouth.

"Master don't be afraid. I separated you from the one preventing you from receiving the gift I had prepared for you. Now you may have this gift."

"Huh??". my head began to spin and I felt something strange fill me. Then my eyes rolled back and everything went dark.
