CH 3. Alexis.

Alexis ran through the course dodging obstacles left and right she soon finished as usual she was top of her class of hunters and tomorrow was her classes first mission. The thought of it made her excited she'd finally get to kill some of the monsters that had killed her family she was snapped out of her thoughts by her friend Amy's voice.

"Hello earth to Alexis." Amy said laughing slightly.

"Really Amy come on I was thinking about something important." She was mildly annoyed at what Amy said but still found it funny.

Amy thought for a minute. "You were thinking about the mission tomorrow weren't you."

"That obvious huh?" Alexis asked.

"Hey were all eager to get some revenge on those things just remember to keep focused." Amy's voice held some concern she knew not everyone survives their first mission.

"Amy don't worry if anyones got this it's me." Alexis said confidently.

"Well lets go everyone else is at the cafeteria for breakfast." Amy said smiling.

Alexis followed Amy to the cafeteria sitting at their usual table with the rest of her class everyone was talking about the mission a few talked about how they'd heard rumors it was at one of the old battlefields. All Alexis knew was that as of tomorrow she'd have some revenge the thought brought a smile to her face. Then their classes teacher and leader for the mission walked in everyone went quiet as he spoke.

"There has been a slight change in plans regarding the mission instead of tomorrow it will be tonight that is all." He left after saying that and the table stayed silent for a few seconds before they all began cheering.

The rest of Alexis's day was pretty boring until a few hours before sundown when her class got to choose their weapons and armor. After she was suited up she went to the front of the line the teacher soon showed up in his own set of armor without a word he began marching outside the class followed his lead.
