Robin seemed confused when he heard Natalie's name. Natalie was not timid person, but was not brave either. And from what Bill said, it seemed like it's a risky mission and Robin was wondering how Bill and Jim had picked Natalie. He looked at them with a confused look.

Looking at the baffled look on Robin's face Bill said "Robin I know you are confused and may be even worried that we may be putting Natalie at risk. But don't worry we will ensure she is safe."

Robin was still not convinced. Natalie was Robin's dearest friend and he did not want her to be a part of all this risky business.

Bill continued "Natalie will just have a small role to play in it. And the part she will play will look like any day normal stuff which youngsters do and will be crafted in a way that she will not be aware that she is a part of the mission. Once she has done her role, she will no longer part of this. And even if she is cross questioned, she can fearlessly tell about it, without having to worry about it."

"Sure Bill, that sounds like a safe bet. So, what's the plan?" questioned Robin.

Jim was also curious to know what had Bill planned and both of them looked at Bill to see what was coming next.

"Robin, is Natalie still in touch with Rachael?"

"Not that I am aware of Bill, but I can check with her if you want me to" said Robin

"That will not be required Robin. That will arise doubts. Let's keep it the way it is now"

Both Jim and Robin nodded their head in unison.

Bill then started to narrate his plan

"Robin, Natalie needs to plan a get together where Rachael is I invited. Is there any occasion which is coming up anytime soon?" asked Bill again.

Robin paused to think over, and then he said "Bill it will be Natalie's birthday in less than two weeks"

"Perfect. This is exactly what I was looking forward to. We can use this as a platform to launch the first part of plan. In the context of birthday party cum get together, Natalie will be inviting all your her current friends and old friends."

Robin was not sure if that could be planned in less than 2 weeks and he put out this concern of his.

Bill mentioned that Jim will also be helping him out in planning the party, to which Jim gave his consent.

The next question was from Jim "But dad, I mean I still don't get it. How is it even a plan to help Rachael? Will we not be wasting 2 weeks unnecessarily?"

"Jim, I understand your concerns for Rachael and her family. But just to cut down on the time, we cannot put everyone's life at risk. And no one is obliged to help. Even if it takes more than 2 weeks, as long as we see some progress in the plan, we should be good to go."

"Got it Dad. So, what exactly is the plan?"

"The main agenda out here is to find if Rachael and her family are still at their house or in the town in the context of inviting Racheal for the party without actually letting anyone know of the reason behind it. This will help us confirm the message details which we received. If we carelessly start checking, and if they are really in danger as the message states, then we may put many lives at risk also allowing unwanted rumours to spread. And you know very well know what happens when a rumour is spread"

Jim finally understood his dad's intention of not risking any lives but still executing his plan.

"I will leave it to both of you to convince Natalie for the party and execute the plan. But while probing about Rachael and her family's whereabout, make sure that you also probe the details of few more old friends to make it look normal. And if you sense anything abnormal while you are executing this piece of the plan, you need to let me know immediately" said Bill

Both the youngsters agreed to this plan.

"But dad, let's assume we don't find Rachael and her family, should we continue with the party and also what do we do next?"

Bill wanted the results fast. He was always impatient and that was one of the main reasons for his troubles at his workplace.

"Jim, the party should still go on with or without Rachael. This will ensure both Natalie's and Robin's safety. And what needs to be done next, I will tell you based on the outcome of the first task"

Jim knew his father well. If Bill did not want to tell something, he would never disclose it to anyone no matter what may come.

Finally, the first part of the plan was set, now it was up to Jim and Robin to execute it flawlessly.

While Bill got up in the pretence of using the washroom, Robin got up to leave. Jim accompanied his friend up to the main door.

Bill after entering the washroom, uttered two spells one to erase most of Robin's memory only retaining the part of memory where he was to plan for party and look for Rachael, and the other spell to remove the sound proofing. Nevertheless, he was still worried if any member of dark forces has eavesdropped their conversation.

Meanwhile, while Robin walked to the car, he felt a little dizzy, and then he could just remember what Bill wanted him to remember. Without realizing that his memory was erased. He just drove away thinking of how to plan the get together with Jim and Natalie.
