Spotlight#10: Ghost Teller

Have you ever thought that these spotlights are getting too light-hearted? Well, let's fix that with probably the darkest webtoon yet to cap off the first webtoon spotlights: Ghost Teller by QTT! So turn off the lights and prepare for a review so good it's scary.

Summary

For centuries history has told us the story that ghosts were merely monsters with any semblance of what made them "good" long past. We turn them into wicked, wrathful wraiths that have never moved on. But when we look back in the mirror, are you sure they are the true monsters?

Characters

So unlike other spotlights, they are no real central characters in this story. Only storytellers, they didn't have a hand in them only an eye.

Overview/good stuff

Each tale from Ghost Teller has an ironic twist of fate that makes it all the harder to watch. The art also has very great shading to give off a dark tale from the past. The story speaks of themes, of insecurity, religion, cyberbullying, ambition, and so much more. It's a great look into the sinful habits that made us who we are today. On another note, the ghosts all have a unique design that takes credit from lots of Asain folklore with many fans stating that the tales stated are their own.

Epilogue

With Ghost Teller season 2 out now, we have plenty more terrifying tales in store. So I guess let's put a cover on the spotlight for now and focus on something a little more random.
