Hogwarts Dawn Of The New Era
Years have passed since the Dark Lord Voldemort was defeated, the heroes of that time had long since died and the world changed.
Now three hundred years later, the wizarding world finds itself in a dangerous situation for the first time in hundreds of years as two worlds clash where they shouldn't.
The muggles struggle to deal with this new problem while its society slowly crumbles apart in the midst of rising mega corporations, decaying governments, an explosive increase of criminal activities, terrorism, wars, and revolutions.
While inside the British Ministry of Magic, the fear of a new Dark Lord spreads as news of the murder of the descendants of the heroes of yore spreads.

There isn't much to go on yet but I'm liking it so far, the difference in humanity between metropolis muggles and wizards is shown clearly. The Mc was even (naturally) completely suspicious of the strangely gentle treatment he received from the wizards as he was never treated as a human being before. Instead of just adding Harry Potter and cyberpunk, the story is trying to show the changes that occurred between the magical and the muggles world. Any big event in one world somewhat changed the other and that's a nice touch. There isn't much to say about the characters so far but they seem realistic as far as I can tell. The grammar and vocabulary isn't hideous. In fact I haven't really noticed any mistakes and I think this story has a potential so long as it is not rushed. I'm no expert but as long as the author expands on the world building and the characters, this can really turn into one hell of a gem. So good luck Mr. Writer.
I am weary of post millenium hogwarts fics and for good reason. Yet this much more daring leap in the age in which it takes place has made very interested. The author has completely gone off the beaten path and made a darker, distopian metropolis slums, Potterverse fic, a with a character that perfectly matches someone born in such a world. It's a good read so far, and I look forward to seeing how the author desides to further develop the story and plot.
