Torture... Isaac is currently being tortured in the Tross Smithery as he watches both Ava and Coralia do fashion runway walks with different sets of outfits. While the scene would be considered cute to maybe a parent who is watching, being tied up of all things and forced to watch is the definition of torture. Isaac had to endure and fake a smile every now and then, though the ropes were strong, Coralia had never accounted for one and single fact, and it would cost her.
"Mr. Judge". Coralia says in a sing song tone while holding hands with Ava. "Us beauties have to go to the restroom now, wait here for us", she teases as both her and Coralia leave the room. A smirk appears on Isaac's face as a purple glow begins to appear in his hands, but before he can finish using his magic, he hears the door begin to open so he decides to cancel his magic just incase. As the door opens, Ava walks through and then gets closer to Isaac's bindings and begins to untie them. Before Isaac is even able to say anything, she shushes him with a finger before whispering to him, "Go, I'll tell her you escaped". Isaac stands up and immediately hugs her before rushing out of the room towards the smithery.
"Though I totally could have escaped on my own by summing my knife into my hand, I appreciate her for saving me from that torture, I'm definitely never doing that again". Isaac thinks as a shiver runs up his spine. Little does he know that, this won't be his final fashion show he participates in. Isaac runs towards the smithery entrance and feels the heat increase on him. As he slowly opens the door, he begins to hear the hammering that Mr. Tross is doing on a unfinished weapon. As Isaac watches Mr. Tross pound the hammer into shape, he realizes the shape of the weapon, now resembles a longsword. Isaac hadn't seen many blades in both his lifetimes, but the longsword created Mr. Tross looked like a genuine masterpiece. The blade itself when reflected in the light, dazzled as if the blade itself had the ability to sparkle and the hilt of the blade gave off a sense of sturdiness that it couldn't be broken. Together these things made the longsword look sharp, clean, and powerful. After Mr. Tross inspects the weapon, he tosses it aside while saying, "Another failure". Isaac looks at him in shock and felt like puking blood, can a man' really be so shameless!? As Mr. Tross begins to inspect a basket full of ores, Isaac walks up to Mr Tross to call for his attention.
"Mr Tross, would it be possible to teach me about forging"? Isaac asks in anticipation, if he could learn to forge, his magic would reach a whole new level of understanding, he could replicate strong weapons and improve his already weaker weapons if he learned what made a weapon good or bad and the intricate components to good weapons. Mr. Tross ponders about the question before shaking his head and replying, "You'll have to wait till you are at least 2-3 inches taller Isaac, you just don't have the height to begin using the forge yet...on the other hand, you do have the necessary strength to be my supplier". Mr. Tross thinks and smiles down at Isaac.
"Supplier"? Isaac asks in confusion because he doesn't understand how the term is applicable in this situation. "You took down a armed mage mercenaries, that qualifies you for the strength required to become my supplier, all you have to do is hunt in the forest that surrounds Elkria, for magical beast materials, you can sell a good portion and give the rest to me. With those materials I can make even more weapons. I heard from Isabella your magic seems to due with creation right? That's most likely the reason you asked me to teach you forging, well you can study the weapons that I deem not suitable and see if it helps you progress further in your magic". Mr Tross finishes as he begins to take out a sheet of paper and writes on the sheet of paper. After writing for a minute, he rolls up the sheet of paper and puts a band on it to hold it together, the band happens to have the same insignia for the badge of the blacksmith association that Mr. Tross has on him rn. "Take that to the hunter's branch at the very east of town, and I guarantee you that they will let you become a hunter, though you might still have to do the hunter's test, you should be fine as it's mainly just a test of strength and will power. Go now, I believe there testing will end rather soon". Mr Tross says while opening the door for Isaac.
"Thanks Mr. Tross, I'll definitely pass, so tell my mom to make a celebration dinner tonight"! He yells cheekily as he rushes out the door towards the east of town. Mr. Tross who closes the door before heading back to his work area, and staring at the longsword he had created on the ground. Mr. Tross looks starstruck, for right next to the spot on the floor where the blade was tossed, was a carved message with one word, "control". Mr. Tross looks at the message and stares at the door where Isaac had just left at before smirking to himself.
"That kid is a one of a kind genius, I can't wait to see what he will create in the future, he might just be able to do "that", in which even myself haven't been able to accomplish". Mr Tross says aloud before returning to constructing weapons and armors and doing repairs on weapons and armors.
Currently with Isaac, he is rushing his way towards the east of town, and soon he approaches a gate with a building built close to the gate. Isaac stares up at the building with a symbol of a lion on it. "Here I am". Isaac thinks as he gazes up at the two story building. "Let's just hope I don't encounter a perverted clown". Isaac thinks with a scared expression flashing on his face, before he begins his walk into the building.
