All or Nothing!

*15 minutes later - 30 minutes into the test*

Matt and the man in the black armor watched as Isaac continued to dodge the attacks of the Gemitestudine and seem to refine his own attacks and dodging by using the turtle as a medium. The man in the black armor shifts his gaze towards Matt who is watching the battle with a glint of ire in his eyes. As if Isaac being able to survive this long was a symbol of his own impending bad luck or destruction.

"The kid is not half bad and picks up things quickly, but I can name many aristocrat families that can do the same. The Dorian household is also able to do the same and they are only third-rate". Matt says in a very passive-aggressive manner. "Executive Mortar, you see this as well right"? He asks the man in the black armor, hoping to gain semblance from the older man. Executive Mortar just stares at Isaac who is fighting the Gemitestudine before a smirk encompasses his old but stockish face. "It is not everyday we see someone who is some brave as to actually treat the test as a means to improve themselves, this test is truly just a test to see the upper limits of the participants, but he is showing us such rapid improvement. Give this kid a year or two, and I bet third-rate aristocratic families' brats and some second-rate aristocratic families won't even hold a candle to his prowess". Executive Mortar finishes before resuming his watching of Isaac.

Back with Isaac who is still dodging and running away from the Gemitestudine, Isaac begins to run into a corner of the room with the turtle hot on his trail. "I think it is time that I go for a counter attack and try something new". Isaac thinks as he begins to run up the wall and backflip off the wall. While in the midst of the backflip, two daggers are summoned into Isaac's hands as he stabs both of them into the eyes of the Gemitestudine, before jumping off its head straight into the air. The Gemitestudine who has now been blinded screeched in both pain and anger while thrashing around slightly hoping to connect with Isaac. Isaac who is still in the air summons away the hunting daggers before summoning his dual bladed polearm.

"All or nothing"! Isaac thinks as he begins to descend from the air, raising his weapon, poised at the strike as large amounts of his mana begins to gather around his weapon, forming an aura around the blade of Isaac's weapon. The turtle who is still blinded wasn't prepared for the attack that was coming from above. Isaac gets closer and closer to his target, and when he is in range, his weapon digs into the turtle's neck, leaving a wide deep wound in the turtle's neck, causing it to splurt out blood like a fountain. The Gemitestudine begins to smash around and screech in pain. It's dying wail bouncing off the walls continuously before it dies down and falls to the ground, losing its purple color and reverting back to its original black color. The bloodshot eyes it posses return to its original white color as it dies as well. Isaac who landed on the floor, falls back in exhaustion and his weapon fades away as the last strike he made took everything out of him and he had little to no magic in him anymore.

"Participant 512, you have successfully completed the test and achieved over achieving results. Please proceed to the next test area within 30 minutes of time". The robotic voice says as a portion of the wall opposite to the entrance of the room begins to openway before a tunnel is revealed to the eyes of Isaac.

"This test sure was a good workout and training session. The things that I have comprehended so far have made this worthwhile already. Now I just need to use this time to try to recover my best state". Isaac says aloud while laying on the ground recovering. "I wonder why I feel like my concentration and thought processing abilities have sped up ever since I reached tier 1 lower stage". Isaac ponders in his head.

When anyone breaks through in tiers, their brain power increases, though the change to tier 0 and to tier 1 lower stage isn't huge, it is still a whole tier upgrade. This results in the overall brain capacity to be increased. If it is said that humans used less than 10 percent of their brains at given moments, then mages are using higher percentages of brain power based on what tier they are in. This process also helps mage in formulating new spells or understand ones already recorded down, for as the higher tier a spell goes up in, the harder it is to learn the spell. Isaac could be said to be lucky in this case for the spells he learns and comprehends doesn't take too much time because of his built in experience and comprehension. This could also be said to be the reason why Isaac hasn't constructed a gun or a bow, he lacks the needed comprehension towards the structure of a gun or bow to properly recreate it using his magic and put it into use.

*25 minutes later*

Isaac is set and ready to face the next challenge that will be down the hall from the room he is in. Isaac begins to run down the hallway that was revealed due to the open passageway. As Isaac approaches the end, he can hear water, but strangely enough, the water sounds loud and crashing, as if it is approaching in a wave. When Isaac appears at the other end of the passageway, he is met with a huge waterfall in a very warm and peaceful setting. Though because of the last test Isaac had performed, he knew not to downplay this test because of its looks.

"Participant 512, your objective for this test is to endure the water of the waterfall crashing onto you for 10 minutes. Good luck, you'll need it...". The robotic voice ends the transmission eerily. In the spectation room of the test room, Executive Mortar smacks matt in the back of the head. "Knock it off, we need to be professional even in front of a kid". He says in a commanding tone to Matt. Matt who now has a comical bump on his head due to the smack from Mortar rolls his eyes and continues to observe Isaac.
