The New Perspective

"Ugh, just how far this small damn city is!" A young girl to be in her teens shouted to the sky but no one answers… However, if there's someone answered it, it would be terrifying.

"Woof!" The dog answered and she looked down and patted the dog.

"I know buddy, we've come far. Don't worry, of all cities in this apocalypse age, this city said to be the most peaceful one like a village in the countryside."

"Woof woof!" The dog barks as it wiggling its tail in excitement.

"You excited aren't you? Yeah, me too. Been too long since we haven't a good rest." She said with a smile as she rubbed her dog.

"After that, we going to continue our journey!" She said excitingly with her right arm raised to the air from the steering wheel and her mind wonders for a second.

Hope that city is the same as the rumors said

Still, kids, you should not let your mind daze, even for a second! This girl is the perfect example, as her mind wanders, the front wheel, the left one, crashed into a body of a spiky zombie corpse lying on the asphalt.

Adding her driving speed is about 90 km per hour, her car loses balance and starts to spin like a fidget spinner then crashed into a highway railroad.

As the side effect of her car spinning like it was dancing at a party, it leaves a wheel track.

Her forehead bumped hard into the steering wheel, leaving her in dizziness while her dog still on its seat thanks to the seatbelt it wears. A dog ver of the seatbelt, duh.

It took her a few seconds before her dizziness ease up, she checked herself if she suffers any wounds and aside from her dizziness, her body is fine albeit shaking.

She unzips her seatbelt and exited the car, to see what caused it, to which she follows the black track wheel and found the source.

She analyzed the corpse very carefully before saying with narrowed eyes.

"Crap." Hence without wasting more time, she runs to her dog.

"Let's go, buddy, we have guests and I didn't want to welcome them with a warm smile." She unzips her dog's seatbelt and both of them continue their journey by walking.

She is hesitant to leave her car just like that, the latter had been with her for the last few years, whether through hardship, the happy moments, or even safe her life in a usual way.

Due to all that, she felt some kind of connection with it, but her life is more important, so before she left, she said with a regretting tone.

"I'm sorry for leaving you just like this, I promise that I'll come back and fix you." After that, she left.

The reason why she is in a hurry, the zombie she just crashed into is an annoying one, it was a zombie with spikes on its head, like a hardcore metal rock fan.

If one of its spikes are broken, it will send some sort of smell to all zombies nearby, leading them to here, it was like a signal to make it easy.

Yeah, its death passive ability is an annoying one.

Just imagine, you trapped in a small room after an attack of a zombie mob, you have no ammo left and left with your trusty Katana, then this guy came by as a guest.

A few minutes later, as she walks for at least 2 km from her last position. She could hear the screams of the undead and around 500 zombies packing the area.

She pays no heed and keeps walking.

After a few hours of walking, her legs are tired and about to collapse, so she looks around to find a place for a rest, and lucky enough, they found a little shack made out of wood.

No, the shack isn't on the highway, what kind of idiot would build a shack on a highway?

.

.

Tornado who is sitting next to Asitana's bed after having a conversation with Uno and the others.

"Achoo!" He sneezed and rubbed his nose.

.

.

The girl's pale lips curved up after she found it, furthermore, she found it very quick! She thought she going to spend the night in the woods. Are the gods compensated this shack for her car?

Thus, she and her dog head to the little shack, the girl uses a parkour technique to avoid the highway railroad that stands in their way.

She places both hands on it, then jumps over it with her legs to one side, shortly after, she released her arm that is closest to her legs, then come down and release her other hand.

The dog just leaps forward, yes, that's it. Good boy!

It only took a few seconds until they arrived, looking at it very closely, the shack is shabby and old.

The wooden door opens and closes by itself due to the slight breeze of the wind.

In front of the shack is the corpses of the undead, their body looks very old, about to merge into the ground and exuding a strong smell, she had to pinch her nose when passing the front yard.

She then steps on the wooden staircase and this thing would be destroyed if someone with a weight of 150 pounds takes a step here.

*Creak*

The sound effects every time she takes a step forward, her dog also walks slowly with its cute, medium-sized paws.

A few moments later, they entered the shack and it wasn't bad as she expected. She thought the shack would be dark, creepy, and has a lot of spider webs, and she hates the latter.

Contrary to her expectations, the shack actually had a fireplace, a TV screen, a torch on the wall, a white futon, a nice round wood table for dinner in the middle

"Never judge a book by its cover," she chuckled and explore the tiny, wooden shack while her dog excitingly rests on the futon with its tail wiggling then close its eyes.

Been a while since it had a comfortable place to sleep.

Tornado looks into the distance as if he felt something's wrong but pay no heed to it anymore.

Probably just my feeling. He thought himself.

He averts his gaze to the little girl who is lying on top of the bed, floating.

Her name is Asitana, a useless AI assistant.

"Asitana, like I said. Do you now any idea where is the second easter eggs is?"

"I told you before, Tornado! Asitana didn't know!" She said furiously with a high tone but coming out from a two-year-old toddler, it was cute.

"Useless," Tornado said and Asitana didn't like it.

"Asitana isn't useless! I truly don't know!" She pouted and crossed her arms then wondering for a breath, "hmm, but a few seconds ago, Asitana sensed something from that direction."

She pointed her little finger and it was in the same direction where he is looking earlier.

Coincidence? Tornado thought.

"What are you sensing?" Tornado asked with a frown.

"I don't know, it was like…" She paused and look at the sky, wondering for a bit, and shook her head.

"I don't know." She said as shrugged her shoulder, she tried to explain it but she doesn't know how, it was no easy feat if she wants to refer something to what she just sensed.

Tornado didn't complain either, he expects the answer from the start anyway.

Could it be that Asitana can sense the remainings of the Golden Easter Egg? Just like a radar? He thought with his hand pinch his chin and stands up.

"Okay get ready, we going in the direction you just sensed earlier."

If they wait, the easter egg would be gone, cause not all easter eggs stay in one spot.

It could be an animal passing the area or a scrap of paper that goes along with the wind.

When searching for an easter egg, you must predict any situation.

Even your prediction doesn't make sense and enough for people calling you having a screw loose in your brain, you must predict it!

.

.

"Looks like someone lives here." She said after analyzed the table carefully, it is clean without any dust, it seems someone clean it on daily basis.

The wooden floor smell great when entering her nose, it looks like someone also mops it a few hours ago…

'Although this shack is clean and tidy, I can't help but felt that there's something more behind it.' She muttered.

"We should stay here until we recovered our stamina, what do you think L?" She suggested to her dog, whose name is L, but no answer.

She worried why the latter didn't answer, hence, turned her head only to find out that her dog is sleeping, she heaved a sigh of relief.

They must leave the place after their stamina recovered, if they stay here any longer, it only puts their life in danger.

They don't know who lives here, better be safe than sorry!

Honestly, she wants to find the secret behind this shack but by doing that, it would risk their lives.

As she wonders if she should explore the place to find the secret or take a nap, she found a red carpet near the fireplace and notice something.

Her eyebrows shot up when she noticed the small changes on the carpet, the carpet had been moved from its original position, leaving these black linear lines.

Curious, she dragged the carpet away and uncover what is beneath it and what she saw is enough to make her heart skip a beat in excitement.

Tornado who is on its way to the direction where Asitana sensed something, feels a bad premonition.

He changed the gears to six forward and step deeper on the pedal, he also flicks a switch, causing the speed meter to increased rapidly.
