Chapter 78

"This dance we do never seemed to grow tiring. And my hatred for her became like a lust." Ida continued to speak. "As we got older, my attacks did become a lot more brutal. Not to say you didn't have a few moments were you bested me. But I still remember that day well."

A long sigh left, Ida's mouth as she began to shake her right hand. She could see her green blood start to growing from her cuts. Her four eyes looked at the young girl that was bonded by her hands to a tree using her webbing. She watched as the blood came from the girls lips as a visible brush started to form from her strike.

"Are you still there?" Ida asked her prey as she popped her fingers. She watched as Amay was breathed a little heavy. Even though her eyes weren't visible to her, she could feel the girls numb hatred for her resonate off of her. Her attention then turned to the sky as she sky was starting to grow a beautiful orange and violet color. Her attention was then drawn back to Amay who suddenly started to chuckle a little through the pain.

"Hey." Ida said grabbing Amay's hair to look at her face. "Who said trash like you could laugh?" She asked her before kneeing her in the stomach. As Amay coughed up a little blood and groaned in pain, she could hear her giggling again. Ida could feel the whole area around them suddenly go silent as Amay spoke.

"You're scared of me, aren't you?"

Her words sent a chill down Ida's back as this suddenly caught her off guard. She looked down at the girl with a confused and quite puzzled expression. Something about how the girl she bullied spoke, felt off.

"I'm not like those idiots that are scared of you because of some crazy bunch of people. You may have them all fooled, but not me." Ida said brushing off Amay's sudden words. Yet, she felt an uneasy feeling from her. It was as if a part of her was getting scared. Her feeling came true when she heard Amay cacking at her.

"Oh. I know. You were always a special one were you. You were always trying to see me, weren't you Ōbuu Ida?" Amay said as her clouded eyes looked up and focused on Ida.

Ida's face went from a cruel smile to a serious expression as she locked eyes with Amay. She saw the glazed over look, but she saw nothing in them. There was no life, no care, no fear, not even concern. It was as if she was staring into a void and it was staring back. Her hands began to shake as an uneasy feeling and worry spread throughout her body like a virus. Her own throat became dry as she stared daggers at the new person.

"Aww. You are scared," The voice said seeing the fear in her eyes. "Yet, you try to keep a brave face." She pointed out to her.

"What the hell are you?" Ida snarled at Amay. Chills ran down her body as she felt as this voice toyed with her. Her hand immediately released Amay's hair as she pulled her hand back and punched Amay with all her might. She heard her arm pop on contact, and felt as if she broke a finger or two. She pulled her hand back and held it as pain shot all throughout it.

"Aww. Did the little spider break her hand?" The voice called out from a broken jaw, that suddenly popped back into place.

The cold hands of fear wrapped it's arms around Ida, as she took a visible step back in disbelief. She watched as the injures she inflicted on Amay suddenly healed as Amay's eyes looked down at her. As she tried to take a step back, she couldn't do it.

"My body it won't move," Ida though to herself as she felt her body began to shake uncontrollably. All teeth began to chatter as tears began to fall from her eyes. "It's like whatever she is has me by the throat. I feel like she's going to kill me if I don't keep my eyes on her. I think I'm...I'm..."

"Scared?" Amay finished for her as if she read her mind. She saw the utter horror in the girls face, and tilted her head as her face shifted to a confused look. "What's wrong? Is this not what you wanted? Isn't this why you bullied her? Did you not want to see me?"

Amay's head dropped as her hair hid most of her face while her as eye's looked up with hatred towards Ida. A tsk left her mouth as she seemed disappointed by the scared reaction of her prey. "I'll give you something to fear." The voice said as Amay's hair began to lift as a dark red boarding black aura seeped out of her body. A cold sensation left her body and bombarded Ida's causing her breath to be seen.

Ida watched in absolute fear and horror as the girl she's been bullying for the longest time, aura started to loom over her like a massive shadow. She watched as it started to take form as a pair of eyes similar to Amay's and a big red smile appeared on it's head. A long black hand began to reach down towards her as it started to laugh.

"This isn't happening. This isn't happening," Ida repeated to herself as she tried to move every fiber in her body, but they didn't move. The only thing she could do was scream and close her eyes out of pure fear not knowing what it could do to her. She left a warm liquid run down her leg and formed a puddle beneath her feet. It was all in that moment when it stopped.

An evil cackle came from the being using Amay's voice, and slowly pulled itself back upwards looking at the scared child before it. "That's what I thought. All talk and no bite. Now leave, your mere sight and smell disgust me." The voice said watching with a mixture of mockery and hatred.

"Without hesitating, I did what it told me to do. I ran for my dear life and never looked back," Ida narrated with a sad tone. "I was scared and powerless against that thing, but I was so ashamed about how drastically stronger and more terrifying you were that I made a vow to myself. I promised that I would train myself to get stronger and kill you. Ending whatever you were to become, and save our village from you."

"I kept to my word and trained day in and day out, trying to master my own skills. I learned in the ways of the spider and my predecessors. Leaning to hid in the shadows and striking when I needed to." She said remembering the rigorous training she pushed herself through. She remembered the many tears she shed and the pain. "There were moments I did want to give up, but my hatred and this jealousy for you burned through my body giving me the strength to keep going."

"Although, I saw you and did try to keep up my routine, I slowly and surely pulled away to train for the perfect time to make my attack. However, I didn't realize that you had left with the Silver Tails herself a week or so ago."She said as a long sigh left her mouth.

"I part of me felt cheated, yet another part of me was happy that you were gone. But I know you would come back at some point, so I waited. As the years turned to decades, and the decades turned centuries, and with a few run-ins and encounters. I found myself moving on. I tried to find love and settle, but the thought of you coming back at some point kept me focused. So much so that I left the village myself. I found myself picking up different jobs that tested my skills and pushed me to be ready."

Ida lifted her glass to her lips as she started to laugh with her client. She was wearing a silk black long dress allowing her black exoskeleton arms to blend in well we the dress. Her eyes were covered using tented lens round framed sunglasses to hid her eyes. As she slowly took her drink, she watched to see her client drank his first.

Once his glass was empty and he was in the mood to continue their night, Ida carefully placed her glass on the table before crawling onto the man's lap. She could feel his hands touching her waiste before groping her butt trying to life her dress. When he tried to pull himself up closer to kiss her neck, Ida pushed him back down with two hands and ripped his shirt off. She slowly bite his neck inserting her fangs into him. As his grip tightened on her, she soon felt his grip loosen.

"Time is up," She told him before looking at the now convoslating man. She watched as foam started to come from his mouth and his eyes rolled in the back of his head. A long sigh left her mouth as she got off of him and leaned her head on the back on the couch.

"Too easy at times," Ida remarked as she pulled the pin out of her hair and allowed it to flow back. The next thing she removed was her glasses and opened her smaller eyes allowing them to adjust. She then reached into the dying man's pocket grabbing his wallet to double check he was the right one. For a moment she hesitated at seeing his family, and the kids he had. She just shock her head and took the money. She wasn't fully surprised at this point to see a married man asking for an escort. "Just bad timing on your part." She chuckled.

*Ping*

Ida let out another sigh as she pulled out her phone from her little purse. Before checking the notication, she contacted the client tell them the job is done and she expect to be paid in full. She didn't give them time to talk as she looked at the message. A chill went down her spine as she was left speechless at the name that came up for the next bidding job.

"Amay Yangu?" Ida said looking at the name and her anger began to rise as the excitement she hasn't felt in a long time came back. Ida got to her feet as she started to place her bet and added as much money in until she won. A smile came across her face as she got to her feet and went to look over the city light. She allowed her dress to fall to the ground and stood against the window and pressed her body against the cold glass. A smile giggle left her mouth as she thought about all the times before and tried to remember that feeling from that day the fear. "It's been a very long time, useless."

-A few minutes ago before the current moment.-

Ida while disoriented felt the blade to her neck as they argued over her life.

"Pathetic," The words filled her mind as she felt stupid for getting caught up in the moment. "How could I allow her to get the best of me, and not take into consideration that she might have lived. I can't believe I allow myself to end up like this."

She felt her hair getting pulled as she felt Amay talk into her ear. While her breath was warm, her words sent a cold chill through Ida's body. She then allowed her face to drop back down as her words rung throughout her head.

"This nothingness spared me," She repeated to herself as her only working limb gripped the ground. "You think you can spare me after all this time. After everything, you made me go through and become. How you stole my prize and took me down by attacking me from behind. And you think trash like you can just spare me and just walk away?". Ida though as her anger began to grow even more.

Her hand gripped the ground tighter as she began to pull herself forward. With her only good eye with green blood clouding her vision, she looked up towards Amay and the boy.

"I made a promise to get stronger and kill you...and nothing...and nothing...will stop me!" She said out loud even though she was alone. She then felt and heard a crack come from within her. She then felt herself starting to gage as if something was starting to come back up. A pool of green blood came from her mouth followed by the crystal from the creature she killed still in take. She felt this sudden urge take over and she went face down into her own vomit. She then faced back up with the crystal in her mouth.

"I will kill you and take that boy from you," Ida thought to herself as she forced her teeth through the crystal. She could feel her teeth chipping and bleeding, and the pain was nearly unbearable; however, her rage and jealous allowed her to push through it.

There was a deadly silent as the crystal in her mouth shattered like glass. It then faded as all of the energy and it's shards went into Ida as a light engulfed her followed by a laugh.

"I always feared you because you were a monster, and I was jealous of the power you had." Ida confessed to Amay as she looked down at her.

Her body was that of a normal woman from her waist, chest, face, but below her waist rested the abdomen of a spider. She was fully naked with a massive patch of hair covering her chest while her hair was wild and untamed. She had four spider legs supporting her whole body up. Her abdomen was yellow and black with the print of a yellow creak rundown it. While she had two normal size hands that were like her regular ones, she had two long arms that were skinny and bone like with massive boney fingers on the tip of them.

Her eyes went from black voids that sat on her face to more human like eyes with smaller eyes underneath them. While she still had the black of her eyes, her iris were yellow and her pupils were red.

"But now I don't. Why you maybe asking?" Ida said lifting up her regular hands and bring them to her them to her chest. "Why would I fear a monster inferior to myself." She said before pulling her arms away to allow webbing to leave her fingers as she made the first move to their dance.
