The Legacy System

Eric took the twelve rings and was having a look at them, while the Guardian started explaining the situation,

"Young Master the Rings are the 'keys' to the formations of our Assassin's Tower.

The number on the ring and their material determines the rank of the Ring, and simultaneously the permissions, perks, and access of facilities within the Tower.

The two rings I gave you are of Rank S, special. Those two rings are carved from precious outer world stones, that help one with their cultivation.

While the rest of them are Rank 1 rings carved of similar material which has more impurities than those of Rank S.

There are currently 9 rings of Rank S in the Assassin's Tower, three of them were with the Leaders, 3 with their first wives, 1 for me as the Guardian, and 2 with promising talents.

The two rings I just passed on to you, belonged to your 'grandfather' and your fake 'father'.
