My New Home

(Violet pov)

I look around at the unusual spaceship with the eyes of a child in an amusement park. I look at Erren and smile saying his name.

"Erren. Erren. Erren!"

"What?"

I point to the man with sandy hair.

"His name is Jaks."

"aks.?"

"J a k s."

"Jaks?"

He shakes his head and I turn around to face the man.

"Jaks!"

I yell and run to him giving him a hug. Jaks freezes looking very uncomfortable and looks at the captain who is giving him a cold glare.

"Pedophile"

"I told you not to call me that and she jumped onto me you saw that."

I squeeze harder and giggle.

"How long was she down there she's acting like she's never had contact with people before."

"Who knows. Now let go of her. Right now."

"I told you she grabbed me."

(Jaks pov)

I try to swing her off, but then I ended up swinging her in circles like a father swinging his 3-year-old kid. She laughs harder thinking we're playing and the captain stands there with a, stop making her smile look. I start to sweatdrop. How did he get her off? I stop spinning around and point down to the floor and she gets off smiling. She then runs back to the captain grabbing his arm and I sigh in relief when the captain drops his dark gaze. Not my girlfriend my ass. If you don't want people touching her then take better care of her.

(Erren pov)

I watch her as she grabs my arm and snuggles into it. Don't snuggle with me after what you just did. I pout and she looks at me mimicking me. I smile at her. I can't stay mad at her damn it. I walk to a room and open the door. I walk in with her and show her around the room. It has a shower, mirror, closet, and dresser. She walks to the bed and starts to jump on it.

"Violet this is your new hovel."

"Don't call the girl's room a hovel."

"Why are you still here?"

"Because a girl her age shouldn't be around a guy like you alone."

"Get your head out of the gutter Jaks."

She walks over to me and drags me to the bed. And for some reason, she starts to wrestle with me. I play along grabbing her waist and holding her down. She then uses her legs and wraps them around my neck. I throw her up and slam her back on the bed hard. I thought that might have been too hard, but she just starts to laugh and tackles me again. I smile. Good thing she's not weak.

"Captain what are you doing!"

"Relax we're just playing."

"Did you forget she's injured?"

"Were?"

"Her side. she was stabbed and you're injured too."

"Right I forgot."

"You're the worst."

She jumps on my back and I lay back on the bed on top of her.

"Get off her already."

"Fine stop nagging"

"Sorry, Violet we'll have to play later."

I point to her wound and she understands getting up and I walk her to the nursing station. After we get patched up I grab her in my arms and run away from Jaks. He yells at me to not play rough with her and I just keep running with Violet laughing. We stop in a hallway with a clear view of space and Violet practically jumped out of my arms to put her face up to the window. She smiles and just looks all over. I stand beside her starring at her.

"Erren."

"Violet?"

She grabs my hand and leans on my arm.
