Play Time

(Violetpov)

I wake up the next day in my new room, with my new friends, in my new home. I have never felt happier. Yesterday was really fun Erren showed me around and I met some of his other friends too. A lot of them wanted to hug me, but Erren beat them up if they tried to I wonder why. Anyway today I think I'll spend time with Erren again. I take a shower and change my clothes into black shorts with a long sleeve purple shirt. I open my door to be greeted with Erren's smiling face. I threw my arms around his neck and snuggled into his chest. He held my waist and led me to the dining area. we sat at a bench with Jaks and started to eat. The table was filled with food and Erren was eating most of it. I stopped to smile and look at him eat when he turned my head back to the food on my plate and I started to eat.

"fa no sa te."

"What?"

" Erren. fa no sa te"

"Captain we really need to find a way to communicate properly with her."

"What's wrong with things now?"

I want to ask him if he wants to play with me, but he can't understand me. I get frustrated and begin to pull his arm and become teary-eyed.

"Jaks what does she want?"

"Hell if I know."

"Does she not like the food?"

"I don't think so."

"Is she on her period?"

"Want to check?"

"Pedophile"

"You're the one that suggested it!"

My new friends are arguing and the tears start to fall. Erren freaks out again and holds me. I look up at him with quivering lips and say...

"Guabe puta excu." {I want to understand you}

"OK fine your right Jaks how do we understand her."

"Well since this is a ship of idiots it might be easier to get her to understand us. We have some language books in storage."

"Get them before she burst out in tears."

(Erren pov)

We head back to her room and layout mountains of books for her to read. The only problem is she can't read. great. She holds the book as Jaks tries to explain it to her, but she can't understand him without the book and she can't understand the book without Jaks.

"I give up cap were not getting anywhere and it's been hours."

"Try harder"

"How?"

"Hell if I know just do it."

"Your evil."

Violet places the books in circles and stands in the middle of them. She closes her eyes and the books start to circle around her when she opens her blue glowing eyes. Jaks gets hit in the face with multiple books to the face and they all fall at once when she closes them and her eyes go back to normal.

(Violet pov)

My eyes look at Erren and I can understand everything now. I run and jump on him and he holds my waist.

" Erren I love you."

Jaks's jaw dropped and Erren's eyes were wide open.

"What did you say, Violet?"

"I LOVE you Erren. I love you. I love you. I really really really love you."

"What the hell did you teach her Jaks?"

"I didn't teach her THAT!"

"Erren I can understand you now."

"Wait you can? How? Was it that magic trick you did?"

"Yes."

"Violet can you understand me too."

"Yes Jaks"

"Well, my job here is done."

"You didn't do anything."

"Erren let's play. Please?"

"Wait still trying to cope."

"Why? Everything worked out fine."

"Erren?"

"OK fine let's play."

I smile and jump on top of him and we fall onto the bed. Jaks leaves saying he can never get back those wasted hours and closes the door. I jump on Erren and he flips me over onto my back. I then flip him over and we continue to do that until we fall on the floor. I take up a pillow and threw it at Erren's face. He pouts and then tackles me on the floor. I try to wiggle away and he pins me down. I try to get away, but he's really heavy. I get tired of playing nice and kick him in the face. He flies into the wall so hard he leaves a dent in it. He smiles at me and I start to feel uneasy.

(Jaks pov)

I'm in my quarters when I hear loud crashes and bangs.

"What are those two doing?..."

I stop to think about it and rush out the room down to Violet's hovel, I mean room. I open the door expecting the worst and shout out...

"Get off of her you crazy captain don't take her innocents."

The room is in a complete wreck with broken glass, a broken bed, and... How did they break the bathtub?

(Erren pov)

"What are you going on about?"

"You idiot captain what if she gets pregnant?"

"Jaks what are you talking about. We were just playing."

"What kind of a game leaves a room destroyed? And where is Violet?"

I see the girl come out from under the mattress laying on the floor.

"Here I am."

"You ok kid?"

"Yes!"

I walk over to check her and she does look fine.

"Don't touch her Jaks."

"What are you doing picking on a girl I lost all respect for you."

"Since when do you respect me?"

Violet grabbed my hand to get my attention.

"Jaks my bed broke.

" Shit we don't have any extra rooms prepared."

"Well since it's partly my fault she can sleep with me."

"Knowing you it's all your fault and hell no."

"But Erren and I have already slept together before."

Jaks gives Erren a dirty look and he ignores it.

"Fine, but cap you have to sleep on the floor."

"Why? The bed's big enough"

"If I can't trust you not to get into a fight, then I can't trust you to keep your hands off of the kid."

"But Erren always touches me."
