"Where'd he go?!" Karma asked, furiously.

"Um.. I saw him run back up and in the tree house.. I'm guessing to eat early?" Aviana answered, unsure.

"That little- he's gonna finish everything!" Karma frowned.

And with that, Karma had ran to go save the food, so Aviana was finally left alone.

Will Aviana be able to train on her own?

Is she really alone in those woods?

Find out the answers to these questions in this chapter of...

"The Crown-Less Princess"

Caspian was stuffing his face with food before Karma could even catch up to him.

....

Aviana started practicing and trying to perfect the seemingly simple defense moves.

"Ugh! Karma made this look so easy! Why can't I do it?" Aviana just kept beating herself up.

Maybe she didn't have to do it exactly like Karma did, maybe if she tried doing it her way, she might be able to do it.

"Ooh~ look what do we have 'ere." ??? Said.

A mysterious figure came out from beyond the bushes.

Startled, Aviana just stared at the mysterious stranger, not knowing what to do.

How did she not notice that someone was there watching her all along?

"W-who are you?" Aviana said.

"Damn it! why did I have to stutter? Now they're gonna be able to tell I'm intimidated." Aviana thought it her head.

"Why don't ye tell me who ye are first m'lady" The mysterious figure said, sounding like they were smirking.

The mysterious figure stepped forward and completely caught Aviana off guard when 4 more figures walked out of the forest behind the first mysterious figure.

It was dark being that it is night, so Aviana had no way to identify who or what those figures were, as their features were hidden behind the darkness.

"Don't take another step closer!" Aviana commanded, trying to sound intimidating.

She was trying to figure out what to do in this situation.

She was outnumbered, but she didn't know what these mysterious figures wanted, but she could just guess it wasn't anything nice.

"Should I call for help?" "Would they even be able to hear me?" "What if I end up getting the attention of another bad thing?" Aviana's head was full of thoughts as she tried to make a plan.

Every outcome she had calculated in her head ended up with her losing or worse, dead.

"Oh, are ye not from here m'lady?" The same mysterious figure asked.

"That's none of your business!" Aviana replied.

"Ah- are ye lost? Ye can come with us, we can help ye~." The mysterious figure asked once again, this time suggesting she comes with them.

Their voice sounded so untrustworthy to Aviana.

Slowly, All 5 mysterious figures started inching closer and closer to Aviana.

"Hey! This seems like a bit of an unfair fight, don't you think?" Someone exclaimed.

This person jumped down from a tree, landing like a cat on their feet.

Aviana still couldn't tell who this person was, not only from the darkness, but from the hood on the person's head.

"All five of you, against just her? Ha!" The hooded figure said as she stood far away from Aviana, but still in front of her.

"Let's make this a fair fight shall we?" The hooded person had a smirk in their voice.

Aviana didn't know who this person was, but she could tell by the voice and silhouette that it was a female.

"Was this person trying to help me?" "Or are they just trying to distract me." Aviana stood there confused as she started mumbling again.

"Oh would ye look at that, it's you again ey?" The mysterious figure stated.

"I've been looking for the rest of you for ages. And here you are, trying to pick a fight with a helpless mundane." The hooded female replied.

"Pfft! Who are you calling a helpless mundane!?" Aviana completely forgot that this person was trying to help her, she just lashed out.

"Do I look like a helpless mundane to you?!" Aviana questioned as her eyebrows furrowed.

"Ugh! Not the time girly!" The hooded female stated, not taking her eyes off of the 5 figures.

Then...

Silence..

Suddenly the atmosphere changed..

All 5 figures and the hooded female were completely concentrated.

They each looked at each other like prey, waiting for one to make the first move.

The tension in the air was felt by everyone.

Poor Aviana was about to piss herself right thin and there.

It's almost uncanny how quickly and abruptly the atmosphere changed in such a drastic was.

No one knew what was going to happen next.

But everyone was aware of one thing, and one thing only.

This was 𝙣𝙤𝙩 going to end well.
