The tension in the air could be cut by a knife.

You can tell by everyone's stance that they were ready to fight, well... All except for one. Aviana was just frozen, it was as if her feet we're glued to the ground, she just needed to find out what to do.

Should she run? Or should she fight?

What if one of the mysterious figures had a bow? If Aviana tries to run then they could just bow her down.

On the other hand if Aviana tried to fight, she would just be a big disadvantage if the hooded female was actually on her side.

Aviana barely knew how to fight, heck, she was in the middle of practicing how to defend herself before she got interrupted by all this shenanigans.

She has two choices, yet in both outcomes she doesn't win.

Honestly, it seems like only a miracle or change of events could get her out of this dreadful situation.

Aviana was once again cut off from her train of thought, only this time it's because a gush of wind was surrounding the area now.

Aviana stood confused as her hair was blown by the wind.

She tried to see what was causing this sudden change of weather, only to see strong wind surrounding the hooded female.

"W-what's happening?" Aviana tried to ask, but failed, her voice only coming out as a whisper.

This was definitely not something Aviana should step into. It seems like by every passing second the wind grew stronger, it was no longer easy to keep your feet on the ground.

If Aviana wanted to move, she needed to act now.

It almost seemed as if Aviana was the only one struggling as the mysterious figures just smirked, completely unfazed.

The wind quickly subsided as if it was only there for intimidation.

"Yer' still as weak as before?" the mysterious figure in the middle walked forward, the moonlight only shining on its smirk.

"Pfft!" the hooded female raised an eyebrow, "I was never weak to begin with."

"I beg to differ." the mysterious figure replied.

"T-that was different.." the hooded female backed up slightly, "I-I won't let you confuse me right now."

The female shook her head. "I've finally found the rest of you and I won't let you slip away from my grasp again."

"Oh, I'd hate to break it to ya darlin', but you never found all of us in the first place." the mysterious figure stepped onto the moonlight.

Aviana could barely make out his features, but from what she could see, it was a male.

He wasn't bad looking either, it wasn't bright enough for her to identify the color of his hair or eyes, but she can clearly see a scar across his face, from the top of his eyebrow, over his eye, and ends at his cheek near his nose.

"Is that so?" the hooded female replied, stepping closer to the mysterious man, her confidence quickly coming back to her. "Then what are you doing here?"

"To find you of course." The mysterious man stated as if it was obvious.

During their little conversation, Aviana decided it was time to take action, and by action she means to slowly walk away.

She had gotten too immersed in their conversation that she had completely wasted her time when she could've been running away.

Now is the only time. She thought.

"Why would you want to find me-" the hooded female was quickly cut off by one of the other mysterious figures behind the man she was talking to.

"Hey!" the voice sounded male, "where do you think your going?!" he sounded aggressive.

Unlike the first man, this one didn't have an interesting accent.

Immediately after hearing that, Aviana started sprinting.

Two of the men had looked to their leader for a signal, once he gave them the signal they immediately ran after her into the forest without a second to waste.

Aviana had ran the opposite way of where the tree house was. The last thing she wanted is to have her friend in danger.. oh- and Caspian too I guess.

"This is bad" Aviana mumbled to herself, still running trying not to bump into any trees. "Oh goodness- this is really bad!"

After the two men had left their leaders side, there were only three of them left including the so called leader.

"Aren't you going to go help 'er?" the mysterious man asked to the hooded female.

He had never taken his eyes off of her even when Aviana ran. He had a good reason for it too.

He knew her too well, the second you as much as even blink, she would be no where to be seen, that is until she decides to strike of course.

"I'm sure she can handle herself." the hooded female replied.

That was a complete and utter lie.

The hooded female never really knew who Aviana was, but she knew for a fact, she couldn't fight.

Sure, the hooded female's main goal was to catch these mysterious people, but she also couldn't let an Innocent bystander die because of her ignorance.

Especially not a mundane -- actually, now that she thinks about it.. -- what's a mundane doing in the forbidden forest? how'd she even get here?!

Clearly, many thoughts were going through the hooded female's mind at the moment. She was barely able to comprehend what the man in front of her was saying to her.

"C-can you even hear me?" The mysterious man was beyond confused. " 'ave I been talkin' to myself this whole time?" he was very taken a back by her behavior.

She was normally very vigilant and alert, especially in situations like these.

"Does that girl really mean that much to ye?" the mysterious man was clearly confused at this point.

The truth was, she absolutely didn't know her or cared about that girl. She just needs to know who is she and how she got here, but in order for her to get answers...

She needed her alive.

The hooded female was once again cut off her train of thought, but this time a hand had caressed her face.

She was pulled back into reality in an instant. "W-what are you doing?!" she quickly pushed him away while he took a step back.

"Well ye didn't answer me so I had to get yer' attention somehow right?" the mysterious man smirked as he stepped back into his original position. "It seemed to have an affect on ye, so i'd say it worked."

In the middle of their conversation they were once again cut off, this time by a scream.

The hooded female's eyes widened in realization. She needed to act now before it's too late. If she can save at least one innocent life today, she will.

"I have to go." The hooded female stated as she quickly ran away. Leaving a completely shocked and confused man.

"D-did she seriously run away from me?" The man just mumbled to himself.

After all those days and weeks of searching. She had found them, and then what? She had completely ran away from them.

Sometimes knowledge and information are more important than gaining an reward and pride.
