Chapter 13: Tresha

So this Tresha" the director said as a pink dyed with purple streaks girl, wearing a lavender skirt that matches her white crop top with printed butterfly in the middle.

"Nice to meet you, everyone," She said, waved her hands at us. "I'll do my best for Farah as the second female lead character"

She will be one of the characters of Loving You from Yesterday, she smiles at me and at everyone.

"And oh, Daphne and Bryce... You have a photoshoot tomorrow. Tresha and Nathaniel will have a scene to film tomorrow so better be early"

"I'm looking forward to work with you," Tresha said, reaching her hand to Nathaniel.

Nathaniel just gave her a smile and replied, "me too" and didn't shake her hand.

What a not nice guy, Nathaniel. Tresha saw me and walks towards me, she reaches her hand out.

"I'm looking forward to work with you" I didn't know she is already in front of me, I shot Tresha a smile and shake her hand, "Me too, I'm looking forward to work with you"

With the sound of the beep from the cash register, Shan and Bryce wait for the line at the counter. Shan looked at the cart in front of them, examining the contents.

"Oh, I forgot to include a can of beers. I'll be right--"

"No, I'll go get it. Wait here" Bryce said as he goes.

"Uhm, excuse me? I'm in a hurry and--" Nathaniel cut his sentence as he saw me, my eyes widened. My eyes hovered to his side, a girl clinging to his arm.

"Honey, coul---" Tresha cut her sentence as she saw me.

Bryce arrived with a can of beers in his hand, "Clahrah, I got the can of-"

Bryce cut his sentence off as he saw me and Nathaniel, staring at each other.

"Do you guys know each other?" Bryce asked, looking at me and Nathaniel. I averted my gaze, looking at Bryce.

"Oh, you already had the beers? thank you. Come on, Mrs. Judi is waiting for us at the office." I said as I turned my back.

"Cut!"

"Tresha, could you try clinging more on Nathaniel?" The director said, motioning Tresha to get closer to Nathaniel.

"Like this?" Tresha asked, clinging more on Nathaniel. The director nodded and continued to film the scene again. After filming the scene, the director gave us a minute break.

"Oh, we are such a sweetheart," Tresha said, taking a photo with Nathaniel. I looked at them as I notice Nathaniel try to get away from her grip. I averted my gaze and looked at Bryce, trying to memorize his lines.

"Don't memorize all of those. Just familiarize it" and Bryce nodded, smiling. A staff suddenly called Bryce and me to film a scene, Bryce and I head to the set. I looked at Nathaniel and I seem to notice his jaw clenched, I averted my gaze.

The silence in the office set envelope us as I looked at Bryce.

"Yeah, I know. Today is sooo crazy" I said. "I never saw Mrs. Juli's side being cute, she is always strict in the office.

"She is too drunk" Bryce replied.

"Yeah and I'm glad her husband comes to pick her up. Relationship-goals, right?"

Bryce nodded, agreeing. "yeah"

Bryce and I stared at each other, smiling.

"Cut!"

After the scene with Bryce, someone poked me by the shoulder. I turned around and it is Nathaniel.

I hugged him, "I miss you"

He smiled as he hugged me, "I miss you too"

I know we are doing this just for a display, I rest my head on his chest.

"Nathaniel!" a staff called him. "You and Tresha's scene is now ready."

Nathaniel nodded, he looked at me. I smiled and kiss his cheeks, motioning him to go. I watch him as the staff walk beside him, reminding him of the key points on what he will do in the scene.

I went to my trailer and wait for the staff to call me when will be my next scene.

"Daphne!" Chilling inside my trailer, someone suddenly knocked at the door. I stood up and open it, "Daphne!"

It was Tresha.

"Hey! Come inside" I said with a smile and leave the door open.

"Are you guys done, filming your scenes?" I asked as I head to my couch.

"Yeah and uh.." Tresha seems hesitating to continue her sentence, "What is it?"

"Could I borrow Nathaniel for tonight?" Tresha asked, "We will be memorizing some lines for the film"

I slowly turned around, not expecting her question.

"Oh.." I paused, "Okay but where will you guys be practicing? I could he--"

"On my condominium and thank you for the offer but.." She looked at me head to toe as if judging my appearance, "But I just want us both to practice it."

"Please" she added with pleading eyes.

I don't know but I felt so angry right now, I hide it with my smile.

'Sure,"

"Great!" she said with a smile, "See you tomorrow" and walked out of my trailer. I head to the door and saw Tresha walking towards Nathaniel, clinging to him. Nathaniel looked at me but I averted my gaze and shake my thoughts off. I don't care about him, he could hang out with any girl he wants.

"Oh! I could adjust it for you, Nathaniel," I said, looking at him. Nathaniel smile, "okay, thanks then"

I can't believe I borrowed him for tonight, just the two of us.

"What's this.. setting in your condominium?" Nathaniel asked, looking around.

"Romantic, right?" I said, looking at the petals that I scattered.

"yeah, seems you are expecting someone to com--" Nathaniel's cut his sentence off as I moved closer to him. His eyes widened and I smile, I sighed and rolled my eyes when my phone interrupted me. I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

"Excuse me," I said to Nathaniel as I walked away from him. He nodded, "Hello?" I answered.

"Oh, hi. I never expect you would call soon," I said, biting my lower lip.

"Yeah! All I have to do is get rid of the unnecessary, I said in a lower voice. "and don't worry.." A smirk tug on my lips, "I can get what I want if these continue"
