(Darlen and her children sleep in a guest room at Madeline's house)
(Darlen wakes up)
"Darlen"-Darrell, Margoret wake up, wake up, we're leaving
(Darrell and Margoret wake up)
"Margoret"-¿mom?, ¿what's going on?, It's too early.
"Darrell"-¿what time is it?
(Darlen checks his wristwatch)
"Darlen"-it's 7:44 in the morning, get up, get your things, get Grandma up, we're leaving
"Darrell"-but Margoret and I were going to play video games with Jacksell in the afternoon
(Margoret gets out of bed and starts to get ready)
"Darlen"-get ready loves we leave at 8:15
(Darlen gets up from the bed and takes the bag from him)
"Darlen"-¿where is grandma?
(Margoret and Darrell look around her)
"Darrell"-not here
"Margoret"-she's not here, she must have come down
(Darrell gets out of bed and starts getting ready)
"Darlen"-I'm going to the bathroom get ready
(Darlen walks out of the guest room into the bathroom)
8:15 a.m
(Darlen, already dressed, leaves the bathroom and walks towards the guest room, then opens the door and stands outside it)
"Darlen"-¿are you ready kids?
"Margoret"-yes mom
"Darrell"-yes
(Margoret and Darrell take their backpacks the only thing they brought home from their aunt)
"Darlen"-alright let's go
(Everyone leaves the guest room and walks quietly down the stairs to the first floor)
"Darlen"-¿didn't you see Grandma?
"Margoret"-no mom
(Voices are heard in the hall that leads to the dining room, Darlen and her children walk to the front door of the house)
Grandma Mel-¡Darlen!
(Grandma Mel is standing behind them and they all look back)
Grandma Mel-¿where are you going?, ¿are you not going to have breakfast?
"Darlen"-¿have breakfast?, no thanks, we don't want to take advantage of the hospitality, we're leaving
Grandma Mel-don't worry, there's no problem, your sister invited us to breakfast, come
(Grandma Mel walks up to Darlen and takes her hand, then pulls her to follow her into the dining room)
(The children laugh)
"Margoret"-great, ¿what's for breakfast grandma?
(Everyone walks to the dining room and enters through the door)
"Paul"-¡hello!, good morning children, ¿do you want to have breakfast?, sit down, sit down please
(There is a large table with 7 chairs, in one of the chairs Madeline is asleep and Jacksell is having breakfast, Grandma Mel, Darlen and her children sit at the table)
"Paul"-¿what do you want for breakfast?, we have cereal, omelet, eggs and bacon and toast or bread and coffee
"Darrell"-I want an omelet please
"Paul"-right away, ¿do you also want one Margoret?
"Margoret"-yes please
(Paul cooks omelettes and bacon on the kitchen stove)
"Darlen"-¿what's wrong with Madeline?
(Paul turns to his wife)
"Paul"-ah, he's just hungover from last night's party
Grandma Mel-Hahaha, your sister always knows how to prepare her parties well
(Madeline lifts her head from the table)
"Madeline"-don't worry don't worry, I'm fine
(Madeline helps herself to cereal and milk in a bowl)
"Madeline"-Jacksell bring your aunt a bowl
(Jacksell somewhat upset brings a bowl and a spoon from a cupboard and puts it on the table for his aunt)
"Darlen"-thanks Jacksell
"Jacksell"-you're welcome
Grandma Mel-ah, ¿what time did Madeline all leave?
(Darlen pours cereal and milk into the bowl)
"Madeline"-eh Randy and Marry left until 11, there were those who left just 1 hour ago hahah, and I fell asleep at 5, ¿why did they go to sleep so early Darlen?
Grandma Mel-(Laughing) ¿why so late, daughter?
"Darlen"-we are used to going to sleep and getting up early, we have work and homework to do every day on the farm
"Jacksell"-I've always wanted to go to Beet Farm, but it's too far
"Darrell"-it's great, you should go some day, we have many animals and school is on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, the teachers do very entertaining activities, maybe you should take a vacation on our farm we could go to Gereny Giell by bicycle and at spyek lake
"Jacksell"-sounds fantastic, I could go in August when I get off vacation from high school
"Margoret"-¿high school and stuff?
"Jacksell"-like, ¿don't you know what a high school is?
Grandma Mel-your cousins study at your aunt Jack's farm school, they don't go to high school, their high school is their school farm
"Jacksell"-¿really?, ¿And why don't they come to town?
(Paul finishes the omelets and serves them on a plate, then puts them on the table for his nephews and returns to the kitchen)
"Margoret"-thank you
"Darrell"-thank you
"Paul" - you're welcome
(Everyone has breakfast together)
"Darrell"-¿aren't you going to breakfast Uncle Paul?
"Paul"-I already had breakfast, I have to start cleaning up the mess in the yard from last night's party
"Darlen"-thanks Paul
"Paul"-you're welcome, Jack, ¿when you're done can you give me a hand?
"Jacksell"-yes dad
(Paul leaves the dining room)
"Madeline"-¿well what about Darlen?, ¿how is your farm going?, ¿how is Margo?
"Darlen"-Margo is very well, he stayed to take care of the farm is our livelihood and that of citizens of Gereny Giell
"Madeline"-ah yes you had already told me hahah
"Darlen"-yes, the farm is going very well several months ago our hen had chicks, but not all the vegetables bore fruit, it is something very rare for that to happen, we are in spring time, we are the main ones giving apples, grapes, milk and other vegetables, in these times is when more grocers come from Gereny Giell to buy vegetables, fruits and milk to resell them in Gereny
"Madeline"-¿¡really sister!?, well that's very wonderful
"Margoret"-they have even come from the Renaldo Town and Terrenalto
"Jacksell"-amazing, I also want to do something like that, we could set up a shop for something mom
"Madeline"-you should tell your dad he could help you
"Jacksell"-¡yes!, i finished eating mom
(Jacksell takes their plates of food and puts them in the sink then he hurries out of the dining room)
"Darlen"-if my life changed since I married Margo and left Carrell Vitt, we don't lack anything, we have almost everything
"Madeline"-I am very happy for everything you have achieved sister, and I am very proud, we should go visit you, ¿when was the last time we went to Gereny Giell?
"Darlen"-I don't remember
(Darlen is thoughtful)
"Margoret"-I do, it was the time one of her friends tripped and fell into the mud and then kicked our ball and called another of her friends an idiot
"Darrell"-haha
(everyone laughs)
"Madeline"-hahaha, oh yes Evelyn and Osmar went on an occasion when we went to visit a friend from university in New Mexico, it was a quick visit
"Darlen"-yes
"Madeline"-it was fun hahah..I promise we will celebrate your next birthday Darlen in a party room in Gereny Giell
"Darrell"-¿really? very good, if you ask me, the best party room in Gereny Giell is the "Fest Fun" room
"Madeline"-¿Fest Fun?, ah, there are also those here
"Margoret"-¿Darrell hears but that room is not for children?
"Darlen"-yes, it is the party room where they celebrated the 11th birthday of Maddy, the daughter of one of the teachers at my school
"Madeline"-sorry Darrell we can't have the party in a children's party room, but well don't worry we'll agree to choose the place, even if it's not in Fest Fun you're going to have a lot of fun.
