Love Is Not Weakness

Once we're done telling Madi the story, It is night time. Lexa tells Madi to go to sleep, and she says she wants to talk to me alone. Lexa brings me to Lake, and she looks really nervous. We sit down on the rocks, and I wonder what's on her mind. "What's wrong?" I ask her. "There's just something I've been wanting to tell you, and I never really got the chance to. But I think now is a good time." She says nervously. I hold her hand and rub my thumb over the back of it in circles. She immediately relaxes. She looks up at the beautiful night sky, and then into my eyes. "You've taught me so much. But one thing stands out. You've taught me love is not weakness, it's strength. I love you Clarke." I can't help but smile. "I love you too." I say, as we kiss under the moonlight. I've felt this way for a while, and I didn't know if she felt that strongly for me yet. I'm so glad that she loves me, and she knows love is not weakness.

We head back to camp, and we see Madi sleeping peacefully. Lexa goes into the bed next to hers, and I slide in next to her. We kiss for a minute, and we hold each other until we fall asleep. "Goodnight Clarke. I love you." I hear Lexa say, right before I fall asleep.

I wake up, and I hear Madi screaming. Lexa gets up immediately after me. We quickly go over to her bed and sit down beside her. "Wake up Madi." I say, as I shake her lightly. She wakes up, and tears start to flow out of her eyes. "What did you dream about Madi?" Lexa says. "I was taken from both of you, and I  was tortured. I never got to see you again." She cries. "We won't let anything like that happen to you. You're not going anywhere, and neither are we." I say. Madi nods, and hugs me, then Lexa. Lexa looks shocked at first, and she looks to me for help. I smile at her, and Lexa hugs her back. "I don't want to lose you guys." Madi says. "You won't." Lexa says.
