Death of the Doctor

S.O.N.G headquarters...

"That planet with all that fish. It was a lot of fun." Hibiki said, happily.

"Only you could get excited over that many fish." Chris said, angrily.

"It's been rather quiet lately." Shirabe said.

"What do you think we should do next?" Tsubasa asked.

"Wait around, I guess." Maria said.

"Wasn't that the last mission we had to go on?" Chris asked.

"We have a bit of a situation." Elfnein said, entering the main room. "The Doctor and Jared are dead."

"What?" Hibiki asked.

"That can't be right." Tsubasa said. "We saw them a while ago."

"Is that a lie?" Maria asked.

"Can't believe they're gone." Shirabe said, sadly.

"Who knows?" Hibiki asked. "Who knows that they're gone?"

"UNIT." Elfnein said. "They knew we were Jared's closest friends. Or some of his closest."

"Why didn't they get in contact with..."

"Team RWBY and JNR are in another universe, you dummy!" Chris said, angrily.

"Sarah Jane got informed of it too." Genjuro said. "Mr Smith wants to relay what is going on at 13 Bannerman Road to us."

"Let him." Hibiki said. "We have to see this."

"This isn't right." Kirika said. "He can't be dead. And neither can the Doctor."

Elfnein projected what is going on at 13 Bannerman Road on the massive view screen.

Attic / S.O.N.G headquarters...

"The Doctor and Jared were found ten thousand light years away by a race called the Shansheeth. They sent us this. It's called an epitaph stone. It's a recording device, the equivalent to a death notice. The Shansheeth are what you might call intergalactic undertakers." Karim said.

"The hell? That's the most ridiculous thing I've never heard. Intergalactic caretakers." Chris said, sitting in a chair.

"Chris, I can confirm the Shansheeth are known throughout the universe as the carers of the dead. It is said they trawl the battlefields of outer space, looking for heroes to bring home." Mr Smith said.

"Yeah? Well, that's quite enough from you, thanks. Just shut up, and play this thing." Sarah Jane said.

A hologram of a giant vulture is projected in the middle of the room.

"I bring condolences from the Claw Shansheeth of the 15th Funeral Fleet upon this terrible day." Holo-Shansheeth said.

"What's that? Can we trust it? It looks like some vulture thing." Kirika said, looking at the hologram.

"Hey, that's not fair. Since when did we judge by appearances?" Rani asked.

"Since they started lying to us. Jared can't be dead with the Doctor. They can't!" Hibiki said.

"Okay. Look, I hope this is all a big mistake, I really do. For the Doctor and Jared's sake we've got to find the facts, which means we stop and we listen." Rani said.

"Yeah. You're right, Rani."

"Thank you." Miku said. "Hibiki, everything will work out just fine. Mister Smith, can you continue that message?"

"The Shansheeth did journey to the wastelands of the Crimson Heart, whereupon we found the bodies of the last Time Lord and a huntsman. Witnesses say that they perished saving the lives of five hundred children from the Scarlet Monstrosity." Holo-Shansheeth said.

"Sounds like them." Clyde said.

"The Doctor's home world is long since lost, and Jared's home is in another universe, but legends talk of their love for the Earth. Therefore, the Shansheeth will return the Doctor and Jared to the human race. Oh, weep for them, peoples of the Earth. Mourn their losses, for the universe feels darker tonight."

"So, what do you think?" Rani asked.

"UNIT will take charge of the funeral in conjunction with the Shansheeth. We'll be using UNIT Base Five, situated inside Mount Snowdon. We can arrange transport and accommodation for all of you here in this room and for the Symphogear wielders that's in this call." Karim said.

"Thank you." Sarah Jane said.

"Then you'll come?" Karim asked.

"Oh, yes. Nothing's going to make me miss this. I'll be there. Maria, Kirika, Shirabe, book a flight. I have a hunch that you're needed."

Time Space Administrative Bureau...

"The Doctor and Jared are dead." Lindy said.

"How?" Nanoha asked. "Can't we go there?"

"I think we need to call Team RWBY." Hayate said.

"That does seem like the logical outcome." Fate said.

"How do we call them?" Nanoha asked.

"We use our phones. And call their Scrolls."

Mistral / TSAB...

Ruby has her Scroll in her pocket and she took it out to receive a phone call.

"Team RWBY?" Nanoha asked. "This is Nanoha. We met at some point. I think. The Doctor and Jared. They're dead. We got reports of it a while back."

"Wait? How?" Weiss asked. "They can't be dead."

"We'll send you a lift. For you to dimension travel. This can't be right. If it was big, then it would be on a multiversal scale. When it involves Jared." Fate said.

Bannerman Road...

Shirabe, Kirika, and Maria are standing outside 13 Bannerman Road, not knowing what to expect.

"Is Jared really dead?" Kirika asked.

"Who knows?" Maria asked.

"The last time we saw him involved Kazran and Abigail." Shirabe said.

"That was three weeks ago."

"Can a huntsman really die?" Kirika asked.

"Don't say stuff like that." Maria said, angrily.

"What are we waiting on?"

"Something from UNIT." Shirabe said. "I think."

A UNIT limousine arrives as Sarah Jane comes out of her driveway.

"Bang on time. Don't worry, Haresh, I'll look after them." Sarah Jane said.

"Sorry to hear about your bad news." Haresh said.

"There's no need. I'm fine."

"Keep the school running without me, sir. While I head off in my nice, big, posh motor." Clyde said.

Clyde and Kirika get a zap of blue energy.

"Ow. Did you see that?" Clyde asked.

"Stare..." Shirabe said, looking at Kirika's hand.

"Static electricity. If you paid more attention in class..." Haresh said.

"Clyde, Shirabe, Kirika, get inside the car." Maria said. "We don't have all day."

Unit Base Five tunnel entrance...

"Wow..." Kirika said, in awe.

Imagine a version of Cheyenne Mountain relocated to Wales, but with external radar antennae.

"That is what I call a base." Clyde said.

Base garage...

"Silo fifteen now entering decontamination. Staff to holding position. Repeat. All staff to holding position." Someone on the speaker said.

They are met by Colonel Karim.

Unit Base Five...

Who leads them through the corridors.

"We've allocated bedrooms. The funeral will take place at 0900 hours tomorrow, so that gives you time to acclimatise. The doors to the funeral wing will be sealed at 2100 hours. This is still a working military base, so you'll only have access to the specified areas." Karim said.

"That's nice. Bring us all this way to tell us we're not trusted." Sarah Jane said.

"So is anyone else coming?" Kirika asked.

"Well, it's all been a bit of a rush. The Brigadier's stranded in Peru, the Magical Girls from Mitakihara and Kamihama are defeating Witches, and Miss Shaw can't make it back from Moonbase until Sunday." Karim said.

"Jared met the Brigadier." Shirabe said. "It's a bit sad that he was stranded in Peru."

"Wasn't he back in London?" Kirika asked.

"He was supposed to be retired." Maria said, looking around. "Last time I checked."

"But there are Graske here!"

"I think they're Groske." Shirabe said, sadly. "According to the records Elfnein sent of this base ahead of time. Graske were pink. Groske are blue."

"So, why are they here?" Maria asked. "I hope they're not a danger to you two."

"They are tiny." Kirika said, staring at the Groske. "Like Sontarans."

"The Groske were stranded on Earth in 2006. We took them in, and they've been earning their keep as workmen." Karim said.

"Groske build rocket for funeral. Come and see. Come and see." The Groske said.

Silo...

"Rocket X-15 will take the Doctor and Jared's bodies into space, sealed inside lead-lined coffins. Then they'll be set free. In death as in life." Karim said.

"Very poetic." Sarah Jane said.

"It is." Shirabe said.

"I think it's beautiful. Just what they deserve." Rani said, happily.

"What about the Tardis?" Sarah Jane asked.

"And where's Aqours? The thing Jared uses to save the day." Kirika said, frowning.

"There was no sign of the blue box or the pendant. The bodies were found together." Karim said.

"Blimey, though. Not so bad way to go. That's a real, proper rocket." Clyde said.

"Boy and girl smell." The Groske said, looking between Clyde and Kirika.

"What is he talking about?" Kirika asked.

"I don't know. It could be important." Shirabe said.

"Anything can be important."

"Like what?"

"Anyway, this area's about to be sealed off as part of the curfew. I can take you to your bedrooms. Then the Shansheeth are holding a gathering of remembrance." Karim said.

"Just watch it, you." Clyde said.

"But you see?" The Groske asked, while energy was playing in Clyde and Kirika's palms. "So bright. You and the girl smell of time."

"What do you mean?" Kirika asked.

"They're coming."

Chapel...

Three space vultures are there, with different coloured jewels in their foreheads, and some humans in black. The coffins are in front of the altar.

"I'm so sorry for your losses. I'm so sorry for your losses. The Claw Shansheeth invites you to spend tonight reflecting in the memories of a loved one lost." Shansheeth 2 said.

"So, who are all these people?" Maria asked.

"Old soldiers. It's not easy to find friends of the Doctor. He'd come and go without a trace. While it was easy to find friends of Jared. He'd come and go but he always leaves a trace." Karim said.

"Think of all the lives they touched. The whole planet should be in mourning, but no one knows." Rani said.

"Can I see them?" Shirabe asked. "The Doctor and Jared?"

"I don't think you'd want to." Karim said.

"Something tells me you're hiding something." Maria said.

"Shirabe, Maria, they, they were hurt."

"Hey, you guys, want to chat about our recent adventure with Jared?" Kirika asked.

The three sit together.

"What's this about?" Shirabe asked. "Are you okay?"

"He can't just die. Like, what do you think caused it?" Kirika asked.

"Something tells me that Jared lives it. The universe can't get rid of him that easily. He rebooted the universe with the Doctor. And he was still fine." Maria said.

Karim leaves.

"Honoured guests steeped in grief and misery, this is the cradle of the lost chord. Its bittersweet melody..." The Shansheeth said.

"He has been watching over us for a long time now." Shirabe said, sadly. "Like a guardian angel."

"Yeah." Maria said. "But now we have to carry on, for his sake."

Clyde and Rani move to the other side of the aisle as the Shansheeth starts to play a harp.

"Close your eyes. Remember." The Shansheeth said.

Sardicktown...

"We did it. We did it!" Hibiki said, hugging Jared. "We saved the day!"

"I know, you and Nanoha take all the credit though." Jared said, smirking.

"More like Elfnein takes the credit. Along with Lindy." Tsubasa said.

"They did think of the combination." Fate said.

"Still. Magic and songs." Jared said, smiling. "My favorite things."

"Can we go for some ice cream?" Kirika asked.

"Ice cream?" Miku asked. "Where are we gonna get it?"

"We could find one back on Earth." Maria said.

"God. Ice cream!" Chris said, annoyed. "Why is it always food with Hibiki and Jared?"

"They are gluttons after all." Shirabe said.

"Ice cream. Not a bad idea." Hayate said, smiling.

Young Kazran, Symphogear, Nanoha, Fate, and Hayate go into the Tardis.

"Let in the shadow, let in the light of your bright shadow. Let in the shadow, let in the shadow." Abigail said, singing.

The Doctor and Jared go into the Tardis and it dematerialises, leaving a clear square in inch or so of fresh snow.

Chapel...

Clyde and Kirika realise what the energy is.

"Artron energy." Kirika said, her eyes widening.

They are brought back to the here and now by breaking glass. A blonde woman has entered with a young man, and dropped a vase of lilies.

Team RWBY entered soon afterwards, and they're in their Volume 4-6 outfits.

"Oh, sorry, just ignore me. I brought flowers, which was silly, really. I mean, there's no need, is there? Well, you know, I saw these lilies, and I thought they were appropriate. Oh, and the vase was so beautiful. It was hand-blown by Asian Argentines. I don't suppose it was actually hand-blown, because, glass would get really, really hot." Jo said, happily.

"I'm so sorry for your loss." Shansheeth 2 said.

"Thank you. Aren't you lovely?"

"I'm so sorry for your loss." Shansheeth 3 said.

"I know, it's terrible, isn't it? You are so gorgeous. I wish I had my glasses. You're like a vulture. A great big alien vulture. Babe, aren't they wonderful? No, no, no. Don't be afraid. It's just like I taught you. You know, I've missed all this. Listen, babe, can you do something with those for me? There's a good boy. Thanks." Jo said, and she gives him the lilies and he goes over to Rani and Clyde. "I'm sorry. I'm making an awful lot of noise, aren't I? Although there is this tribe called the Nambikwara. You know, from the Mato Grosso. I lived there for about six months in 83. When there's a funeral, they sing all night. I mean, they sound like birds. Honestly, it is the most astonishing sound I've ever heard. Sorry, do I know you?"

Sarah Jane is laughing, "We've never actually met, but it's Jo Grant, isn't it?"

"Wow! It's a long time since I've been called that. Actually it's Jo Jones since I got married." Jo said.

"I arrived just after you left. You'd gone to live on the Amazon." Sarah Jane said.

"They told me about you. You must be Sarah Jane Smith. Oh, darling. After all this time. And look at you. You're so beautiful."

"Maria, Shirabe, and Kirika." Weiss said, walking over to the three Symphogear wielders with the rest of Team RWBY. "It's nice to see you again."

"Likewise." Maria said. "Jared said that you, Team RWBY, reunited recently."

"We did." Blake said, crossing her arms. "Something called the Time Space Administrative Bureau called us."

"That's Nanoha's family!" Kirika said, excitedly.

"And who's Nanoha?" Ruby asked.

"She has this ranged weapon. Raising Heart. It's like Crescent Rose and Igalima. But with a lot more range!"

"That explains Juliet's Rose. Kill Juliet, me, and Crescent Rose."

"With respect, the cradle will continue." The Shansheeth said.

"The last time we all have been together." Maria said.

"It was the Fall of Beacon." Ruby said, frowning.

"Sorry about what happened to Penny and Pyrrha." Shirabe said. "Jared struggled with it for the longest time."

"That explains why he stayed here for a whole year." Blake said.

"I still don't know why he did that." Yang said, angrily. "Why?"

"He thought he hurt us too much." Maria said. "So he went off to this Earth. And fled from Remnant."

"But it ended up hurting him in the end." Shirabe said.

"He lost more people on Earth. Then he ever did at Remnant." Kirika said.

"How many losses?" Ruby asked. "Who affected him the most?"

"Red heads..." Shirabe said. "Penny, Pyrrha, and Donna."

"Something tells me he is gonna lose Amy." Kirika said. "And it won't be pretty."

"Oh, they used to tell so many stories about you at UNIT." Sarah Jane said, happily.

"Those soldier boys. Ooo, happy days." Jo said.

"So, you're still married?"

"Oh, yes. He's picketing an oil rig in the Ascension Islands at the moment. And I've got seven children."

"Seven."

"And Santiago is one of twelve grandchildren. Would you believe number thirteen on its way? How about you, sweetie?"

"Oh, I've got a son. He's called Luke, he's just gone to university. No, no dad on the picture."

"Oh, playing the field. Good on you, girl."

"Not exactly, but. No, it's funny, all of this today, because it got me thinking. Because the Doctor, he showed me such a remarkable life, and when he went, it just took me a long while to get over it." Sarah Jane said.

"Me, too. You know, sometimes I think I've never stopped running." Jo said.

"Then he came back, and I realised the life I wanted was right under my nose all that time."

"Who? Who came back? The Doctor? Recently?"

"About four years ago. He brought Jared along, that fanboy of ours."

"I never saw the Doctor again. And who's Jared?"

"Oh, he was someone inspirational. Those four girls there." Sarah Jane said, looking over at Team RWBY. "They taught him justice and light. Jared must have been with them recently. Because the images he showed me, they looked younger. Now they look older."

"Who are they? Those four girls?"

"Team RWBY. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. Jared and them, they defeated monsters together. The creatures of Grimm. When they separated, and after Jared lost people precious to him. He stayed with me. But me meeting the Doctor and Jared again. It was just a coincidence. The first time, the three of us were investigating this case."

"The first time? You mean it was more than once?"

"Yeah."

"Oh, the Doctor and Jared must have really liked you. You know, it's funny, but I have this notion that if the Doctor died one day, I mean, even if he was as far away as Metebelis Three, that, that I'd feel it, you know, in my heart."

"That's exactly what I thought, but I didn't feel a thing." Sarah Jane said.

"Nor me. Not a peep." Jo said.

"Do you think the same as me?"

"What? Because I think..."

"The Doctor and Jared are still alive." Sarah and Jo said, at the same time.

Dormitory....

Bunk beds.

"Right. We need to make a list, because we need to work out who'd fake the Doctor and Jared's deaths, and why." Sarah Jane said.

"Ah. And these can help us to think." Jo said.

"Candles?" Shirabe asked. "What are they for?"

Jo took out some candles.

"They're scented with jatamansi oil. It's a herb from the banks of the Ganges. It helps to focus the mind." Jo said.

"We'll just go and get some tea." Weiss said, looking between Sarah Jane and Jo. "And some coffee too."

"No, no, no, just hot water for me, please, sweetheart."

"So, where did Jared take you guys? Before we reunited." Yang said.

"He took us three to Venice." Kirika said, excitedly. "With the Doctor. There were vampires."

"Space fish." Shirabe said.

"Space fish?" Ruby asked. "Is that real?"

"It was." Maria said. "The one who wanted to sink Venice, she died."

Team RWBY then walked out with Clyde, Rani, and Santiago.

"Okay, laters." Clyde said.

"Funeral wing now closing. Repeat, funeral wing now closing." Someone on the speaker said.

Corridor...

"There's no way Jared can die that easy." Yang said, crossing her arms.

"Where is he?" Ruby asked. "Do you think he is here?"

"At most he is nearby." Blake said. "I can feel it."

"But where?" Weiss asked.

"No, I really wish the Doctor and Jared were here right now, because then they could explain this." Clyde said.

"It's happening again." Rani said.

"But I can't say anything, can I? Not inside UNIT. They'd lock me up and dissect me."

"Hold on. What do you mean, it's happening again?" Santiago asked.

"The last time we met the Doctor, it was at Sarah Jane's wedding and Jared's wedding..." Clyde said.

"Right, they had this dual wedding thing." Ruby said, her eyes widening. "And we got trapped in this time loop."

"Wasn't the TARDIS phasing in and out of reality?" Blake asked.

"It was. Thank god Jared caught the rest of Team RWBY up to speed at some point. Because Ren, Jaune, and Nora were there. Anyway, Kirika and I touched it, and we got zapped with this stuff." Clyde said, looking down at his hand.

"Let me see that." Weiss said, grabbing Clyde's hand. "That's artron energy. It's part of the TARDIS. You get covered in it as you travel through the time vortex."

"Whoa. And you thought my life was good?" Santiago asked.

"Smelly getting closer." The Groske said.

"What do you know about this stuff?" Clyde asked, looking at Weiss.

"Closer and closer."

"Oi, come back here, blue boy." Clyde said.

"Oh.." Blake said. "Going after a blue alien."

They give chase. The Groske dives into a ventilation shaft.

"He's like a mouse in the skirting board. You coming?" Clyde asked.

"Honestly, it'll be fine. We do this kind of thing all the time." Rani said.

"My gran once handcuffed herself to Robert Mugabe. I'm loving it." Santiago said.

Shaft...

"We're lost. God. Groske! Where are you?" Ruby asked.

"Ruby, keep it down. This is a top secret military base." Weiss said, sadly. "They could kill us with bullets."

"Oh, I kind of promised my dad I'd be in bed by half ten." Rani said.

Chapel...

"Brothers of the wing. I have filleted the cradle to find the most powerful memories." The Shansheeth said.

"With what results?" Shansheeth 2 asked.

"The women. The two wise women of the tribe. I assume the Doctor's current companion is part of the tribe too. They remember the late Doctor most strongly of all. The cradle sings. Surround them with song. Tempt them with days long past. The memories must grow if we are to succeed."

Dormitory...

The harp music flows through the ventilation system.

"That song is peaceful." Shirabe said. "It feels a bit off, right?"

"Reminds me, the Doctor took me to this planet once called Karfel. And they had a leisure garden. And the plants could sing." Jo said.

"He took me to Italy, once. San Martino, 1492. I remember this magnificent garden. It smelled of oranges, vanilla." Sarah Jane said.

Chapel...

"Deeper. The sleep of memories." Shansheeth 2 said.

Dormitory...

"I don't like where this is going." Shirabe said.

"What do we do?" Kirika asked.

"I don't know." Maria said. "Something is wrong."

Chapel...

"The trap has worked. Such excellent and sorrowful memories." The Shansheeth said.

Shaft...

"Why did we stop?" Ruby asked.

"Be quiet." Blake said, as her cat ears twitched.

"Clyde, I'm staring at your bum." Rani said.

"No, seriously, don't talk."

Chapel...

Blake and Clyde are looking through the ventilation grill into the Chapel.

"The women are named Smith, Sarah Jane, and Jones, Josephine. I believe Shay, Jared is like them. If he gets here. We must drain their minds." The Shansheeth said.

"What of their bodies?" Shansheeth 2 asked.

"They will die. Fortunately, there are excellent undertakers at hand."

"Guys, back up. We have to get out of here." Blake said, looking over at the rest of Team RWBY. "I knew something wasn't right. That's why I didn't feel it."

Artron energy plays over Clyde's hand.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no." Clyde said, while the Shansheeth see the light. "Back up, back up, back up."

"We are witnessed." The Shansheeth said.

Shaft...

"We can't turn around." Yang said, looking around the place. "There isn't any more room. We must be shafted."

"Go backwards. Shuffle." Rani said.

The Shansheeth look into the shaft.

"Faster. Shuffle for your life." Clyde said.

Chapel...

"Fly fast, my brothers. Stop them. Stop the children." The Shansheeth said.

Dormitory...

Sarah Jane wakes suddenly, "Jo? Jo, wake up."

"What?" Jo asked.

Maria, Shirabe, and Kirika have been watching them. Keeping them safe from danger.

Corridor...

"Rani? Clyde?" Sarah Jane asked.

"Where's everyone? Where's Team RWBY?" Kirika asked.

"I think there's something wrong." Shirabe said.

"Wrong? As in she means just like the old days sort of wrong?" Jo asked.

"Exactly like the old days." Sarah Jane said.

"Which are still the current days for us." Maria said.

Maria, Shirabe, and Kirika held out their Relics.

"Various Shul Shagana tron." Shirabe said, and her Symphogear armor went onto her body.

Shirabe looked over to see that Kirika and Maria have transformed too.

"Groovy. Those outfits. What are they?" Jo asked.

"Yes. Long story. We're Symphogear wielders.' Shirabe said, sadly.

Further along, Santiago, Rani, Clyde, and Team RWBY get out of the shaft.

"We have to get out of here!" Ruby said, taking out Crescent Rose in its scythe form. "Yeah. Now I see why Igalima has a compact form."

"There you are." Sarah Jane said.

"Sarah Jane, Symphogear, it's the Shansheeth. They're lying through their beaks." Clyde said.

"Clyde's right, he might be as annoying as Jared with the jokes, puns, and pop culture references. But they want you, Jo, and Jared. This whole thing, this funeral is a trap." Weiss said, taking out Myrtenaster.

"I knew it." Sarah Jane said.

"Hold on. If they're lying, that means the Doctor's still alive with Jared. Yes!" Jo said, excitedly.

"Yeah, we're still alive, Jo. I thought it was obvious. There really wasn't a point to bringing Team RWBY here. Catch up, will you?" Kirika asked.

"I beg your pardon?" Jo asked.

"Kirika, is that you?" Shirabe asked.

"Nope, it's not Kirika." Kirika said. "It's me, Jared."

"I'm using Clyde and Jared is using Kirika as receivers. We've keyed into their residual artron energy so we can organise very complicated biological swaps across ten thousand light years. Hold on." Clyde said.

Clyde and Kirika get a big dose of artron energy, and it hurts.

"That wasn't me. That wasn't me speaking. I'm getting. That's not my hand, because my hand's not white." Clyde said.

"And that wasn't me at all. That was totally Jared." Kirika said.

More energy, and Clyde is completely replaced by the Eleventh Doctor. While Kirika was replaced by Jared, who is wearing a Ruby Rose themed hoodie.

"Sorry, Clyde, Kirika, but these spaces are taken." Jared said, happily. "That was a lot of fun. I loved it!"

"Good. So, gosh. That was different. Hello, everyone." The Doctor said.

"Who are you? Where's Clyde?" Rani asked, looking at the Doctor.

"Come on, Rani, use your brain. Clyde and I along with Kirika and Jared swapped places. Jared and I were where Clyde and Kirika were, Clyde and Kirika were where Jared and I were." The Doctor said.

"Hey, Raggedy Man, we did something ridiculously stupid. Clyde and Kirika, they're in a lot of trouble right now!" Jared said, angrily.

Alien planet...

"We're on another alien planet." Kirika said, looking around.

"Doctor? Jared? Doctor! Jared!" Clyde said, terrified.

"You bring Clyde back, whoever you are." Rani said, staring at the Doctor.

"No, no, no. Rani, don't you see? It's you, isn't it? You've done it again." Sarah Jane said, walking up to the Doctor.

"Hello, Sarah Jane." The Doctor said.

"Doctor."

"That's the Doctor?" Rani asked.

"Yeah. That's the Doctor." Ruby said, smiling. "Um, hi."

"What Doctor? The Doctor? My Doctor?" Jo asked.

"Yeah, well, the Doctor, he can change his face." Weiss said, crossing her arms.

"I know, but into a baby's?" Jo asked.

"Oi. Imagine it from my point of view. Last time I saw you, Jo Grant, you were, what, 21, 22? It's like someone baked you." The Doctor said.

"Everyone. Meanwhile." Santiago said.

The vultures approach.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about you guys. The Claw Shansheeth of the 15th Funeral Fleet. You guys are pissing me off. The Doctor and I, we've been looking for you." Jared said, looking at the Shansheeth. "Have you been telling everyone we're dead? Especially Symphogear. They needed one less thing to worry about!"

"I apologise. The death notice was released a little too soon. Though I can rectify this, immediately." The Shansheeth said, as the Doctor and Jared are transfixed by red energy from the lead Shansheeth's claws. "I'm so sorry for your losses, Doctor, Jared. Rest in peace."

Alien planet...

"That isn't good." Kirika said, walking around the planet. "What is that sound?"

There are devices next to Clyde and Kirika.

"Sounds like a countdown." Clyde said.

Then Clyde and Kirika vanish.

Corridor...

And replaces the Doctor and Jared. The Shansheen stop their attack in astonishment.

"But we were on a planet." Clyde said.

"Don't worry about it." Kirika said, holding Igalima. "We have to run!"

Alien planet...

"Come on, come on." The Doctor said.

The Doctor and Jared jiggle the devices.

"I can't leave Symphogear and Team RWBY there!" Jared said, crossing his arms.

Corridor...

"Faster, you guys! I thought we were all used to running." Yang said.

"Let's go Team RWBY!" Jared said, running in front of Team RWBY.

Alien planet...

"No, no, no!" Clyde said.

"Don't slow down. Come on! Take us back." Kirika said.

Corridor...

"Everyone get in there." Jared said, looking at his friends. "Sarah, Jo, Santiago, Rani, Team RWBY, Shirabe, Maria."

Everyone runs into the dormitory.

"I'm sorry, is there a problem?" Karim asked.

The Doctor enters the room with Jared, "Sorry, I was slamming it."

Dormitory...

"Okay, we need to lock the door. Sarah, use the sonic lipstick." Jared said, smiling.

"Haven't you got the screwdriver?" Sarah Jane asked, looking at the Doctor.

"They took it." The Doctor said.

"Along with Aqours." Jared said, sadly.

"They do sonic lipsticks now." Jo said.

"We're running out of time." Jared said, frowning.

"I need you, Sarah, and you, Jo." The Doctor said.

"And I need you, Shirabe, and you, Maria."

"Need us for what?" Jo asked.

The Doctor takes Sarah Jane and Jo's hands.

Jared takes Maria and Shirabe's hands, "We need you guys because it's important."

"Remember the old days when we'd go zooming off to faraway worlds?" The Doctor asked.

"Ugh. And I thought defeating Noise was stressful." Kirika said, sadly.

The six are replaced by Clyde and Kirika.

"I'm getting spacesick." Clyde said.

Alien planet...

"Man, I hate ticking clocks." Jared said, pacing back and forth. "Let's fix these things, shall we?"

"How do we stop the countdown?" Shirabe asked.

"And where are we?" Maria asked.

"The Wasteland of the Crimson Heart. Planet Earth's that way. Bit of a long walk. Sonic, please." The Doctor said.

"And Maria and Shirabe, have you two ever done duet songs together?" Jared asked.

"No." Maria said.

"We haven't." Shirabe said, sadly.

"Has it always been Maria and Tsubasa?" Jared asked, looking between Maria and Shirabe. "And Shirabe and Kirika? For duets."

"It's so many years since I was on another planet." Jo said.

"Me too." Sarah Jane said.

Outside the dormitory...

"I'm sorry, but can I help?" Karim asked.

Dormitory...

"Is there something wrong?" Karim asked, nearby.

"But she's on our side, isn't she?" Santiago asked.

"Think." Blake said, holding her Gambol Shroud. "The Doctor and Jared have been avoiding her."

"But why?" Ruby asked.

"Because someone inside UNIT had to fake the DNA results." Rani said.

"Colonel Karim. She's in league with the Shansheeth." Yang said. "That makes a lot of sense when you think about it."

Outside the dormitory...

"Not as daft as they look, for two batty old pensioners, and a bunch of ASBO kids. How on Earth did they summon the Doctor and Jared?" Karim asked.

"They have powers unforeseen." The Shansheeth said.

"Right. First things first. We need to clear this place, seal it off and keep that lot trapped." Karim said.

Dormitory...

Rani calls up a schematic of Unit Base Five on a screen, "Do you see? We're slap-bang in the middle of the base. There's got to be a way of getting help."

"We could punch our way out." Yang said, and a klaxon sounds. "That's always an option."

"What's happening?" Santiago asked.

"Karim's sealed off the entire Funeral Wing. We're trapped." Weiss said.

The Groske kicks off the ventilation shaft grill, "Hurry. Follow me."

Chapel...

"Dispense with the coffins. Prepare this room for the coalescence. Behold, the Memory Weave is ready." The Shansheeth said, while mist clears to reveal the Tardis. "Soon it will be active. Deliver the women into our wings, and not even the Doctor will able to stop the crusade of the Shansheeth."

Alien planet...

The Doctor and Sarah Jane are working on one of the devices. Jared is working on the other with Maria and Shirabe.

"What have you been up to?" Maria asked.

"I've been relaxing." Jared said, adjusting the frequency of the device. "Let's see. It has to be linked up to songs. I had it set to artron energy."

"Stare..." Shirabe said, looking at the device.

"So how did the both of you end up in this place?" Maria asked.

"The Shansheeth lured the Doctor and I." Jared said, happily. "This was a mighty old battlefield. It was begging to be explored."

"They're traveling with Amy and Rory." Shirabe said. "They got married."

"You two were looking for honeymoon destinations for them." Maria said. "Which is sweet."

"We dropped them off at a honeymoon planet, which isn't what you'd think. It's not a planet for a honeymoon, it's a planet on a honeymoon. It married an asteroid." The Doctor said, smiling. "Then they nicked the Tardis. The Shansheeth, not Amy and er. Fortunately, Jared and I had all this wreckage to build a space swapping doo-dah thingummy wotsit."

"So, you've a married couple in the Tardis." Jo said.

"Mister and Mrs Pond."

"I only left you because I got married. Did you think I was stupid?"

"Why do you say that? You leaving the Doctor." Shirabe said.

"I was a bit dumb. Still am, I suppose."

"Josephine Grant. What makes you think you were dumb giving up traveling with the Doctor?" Jared asked.

"We'd been travelling down the Amazon for months, and we reached a village in Cristalino, and it was the only place in thousands of miles that had a telephone, so I called you, Doctor. I just wanted to say hello. And they told me that you'd left, left UNIT, never came back. So I waited and waited, because you said you'd see me again. You did, I asked you and you said yes. You promised. So I thought, one day, I'd hear that sound, Deep in the jungle, I'd hear that funny wheezing noise, and a big blue box right in the middle of the rainforest. You see, he wouldn't just leave. Not forever. Not me. I've waited my whole silly life." Jo said, looking at the Doctor.

"But Jo, you were an idiot." Jared said, adjusting the setting on his device still.

"Well, there we have it."

"No, but don't you see?" The Doctor asked.

"I think you made it impossible for the Doctor to find you." Maria said.

"Maria's right. You've spent the past forty years living in huts, climbing up trees, tearing down barricades. You've done everything from flying kites on Kilimanjaro to sailing down the Yangtze in a tea chest."

"The TARDIS, along with satellite tech from S.O.N.G headquarters or Torchwood couldn't even track you." Jared said, frowning.

"Hold on. I did sail down the Yangtze in a tea chest. How did you know?" Jo asked.

"And that family. All seven kids, twelve grandchildren, thirteenth on his way. He's dyslexic but that'll be fine. Great swimmer." The Doctor said.

"So you've been watching me all this time?"

"No. Because you're right, I don't look back. I can't." The Doctor said.

"The last time the Doctor was dying, and the time I thought I was dying. The both of us looked back on all of our companions. Our friends. Every single one." Jared said, smirking. "We were so proud. Took me ages to watch all of the Magical Girls that weren't insane."

"It really is you, isn't it?" Jo asked, looking at the Doctor.

"Hello." The Doctor said.

"We still have our friends back home with the Shansheeth." Maria said, looking over at the Doctor. "We can't leave them there alone."

"Yes, yes. And I still need you, Jo." The Doctor said. "Now, that bag of yours, I can smell blackcurrant. Is it buchu oil?"

"Hand-picked in Mozambique." Jo said, taking something out of her pocket.

"Oh, perfect. These circuits need connectivity." The Doctor said.

"Maria, Shirabe. Since you two can't do a duet. You can do solos." Jared said, looking between Maria and Shirabe. "It can be any song."

"Wonderful. Little tiddly drop. That's it. What a team." The Doctor said.

Groske hideaway...

"Hurry, hurry, hurry. Come on." The Groske said.

"This is nice. You got a cute little hiding spot." Ruby said, smiling.

"Why are you in a hurry?" Kirika asked.

"Pizza go cold." The Groske said.

"What? I thought you had a plan." Weiss said.

"Shansheeth too scary. We hide."

"No, we've got to do something." Clyde said.

"Yeah, but hiding's not bad, because we've got to keep the both of you safe, Clyde, Kirika. Whatever the Doctor and Jared are doing, they need the both of you for that body switcheroo." Rani said.

"Oh great, great. Stuck in Groskeville."

"Pizza good." The Groske said.

"The usual, right?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah." Kirika said, happily. "What have you four been up to?"

"Y'know. Besides us reuniting." Yang said. "We haven't seen Jared at all."

"He's been hanging out with us!"

"Of course he has." Weiss said, crossing her arm. "Where did he take you guys?"

"A planet with fish." Kirika said. "And a shark!"

"A shark?" Ruby asked. "How are you guys still alive?"

"Don't sharks eat people?" Blake asked.

"I can't believe you guys were on a planet with fish and sharks." Weiss said. "We met Vincent Van Gogh."

"I wasn't there for that. Who's Vincent Van Gogh?"

"He's a famous artist!" Kirika said, happily.

"An artist?" Blake asked. "What kind?"

"The Starry Night?"

"What's the Starry Night?"

"It's this painting." Yang said, smirking. "You should have seen it. We should take you to Paris sometime."

"I don't know if museums is my thing." Blake said.

"It's totally your thing."

A shutter falls across the ventilation access.

"What's that? What's happening?" Kirika asked.

"We're trapped." Weiss said.

With a handy computer link to the base systems.

"Excellent. We've got the Brady Bunch exactly where we need them. Now to apply a little heat." Karim said.

"Internal vents to maximum." The computer said.

Groske hideaway...

"Heating. Hot, hot, hot." The Groske said.

"They're trying to boil us." Yang said, annoyed. "That's great."

Chapel...

"And increasing." Karim said.

"The children are irrelevant." The Shansheeth said.

"Not to the Doctor and Jared, they're not. Wherever they are, they'll be planning revenge. We need to divert the Doctor and capture Jared."

Groske hideaway...

"It won't budge. Come on, Groske, there's got to be a way out." The Groske said.

"No. We die like rotisserie." The Groske said.

"You can, but I'm not. Sarah Jane! Jared! Anyone!" Rani said.

"Where are they?" Weiss asked.

Alien planet...

"That should do it." Jared said, closing his version of the device. "Love it."

"What does it do?" Maria asked. "What does it contain?"

"Intergalactic molecular streaming, with just a hint of blackcurrant and music." The Doctor said.

"But what'll happen to Clyde and Kirika?" Shirabe asked.

"No, no, no, we've fixed it. All we needed was you four. Oil, sonic, and the power of song. Now we can go back and Clyde and Kirika can stay where they are." The Doctor said.

"Hold on tight, because this is gonna be fun." Jared said, grabbing Maria and Shirabe's hands.

Corridor...

"Get us out of here. Doctor! Jared!" Clyde said, nearby.

"Then again, maybe leaving Clyde and Kirika in the same place wasn't such a good idea." The Doctor said.

"Look out, stand back." Sarah Jane said, and she sonicks off the grill.

"Ah! Ventilation shafts. That takes me back. Or even forwards." The Doctor said.

Shaft...

"Hurry, we're getting boiled alive here!" Ruby said, nearby.

"Hold on. We're coming." The Doctor said.

"Don't worry, Santiago, I'm here. You go first. You've got the sonic lipstick." Jo said.

Jo turns to see Sarah Jane is being held by a Shansheeth. Then a second one grabs her.

"Help us!" Jared said, terrified.

A third one grabs Jared.

"Doctor!" Sarah Jane said.

"Jo? Sarah? Jared?" The Doctor asked.

"They're roasting us." Clyde said, nearby.

Groske hideaway...

"Let us out!" Weiss said.

Shaft...

"Sarah. Jared. Argh!" The Doctor said, annoyed.

Chapel...

"Exactly as predicted. Given the choice between saving the world, or saving the children, the Doctor goes the wrong way." Karim said.

The Shansheeth bring Sarah Jane, Jo, and Jared in.

"A Christmas Carol was way better than this." Jared said, annoyed. "Why did I fall for another trap?"

"I didn't trust you, Colonel, from the moment I met you." Sarah Jane said.

"Why did you think I avoided her? Or why I wasn't on Earth."

"Now I see why we both pick and choose our friends."

"Like I care. Frankly, I've never met people so staggeringly pious in all my life. Now then. The chamber's sealed off. The Doctor would need half a ton of dynamite to get through that." Karim said.

"The Tardis. I never thought I'd see it again." Jo said.

"That's what this is all about. The Tardis, and you. Place them in the Memory Weave.

Jo, Sarah, and Jared are attached to Shansheeth technology.

Shaft...

"And release." The Doctor said.

Groske hideaway...

"Yeah, the Doctor does scream Ruby." Weiss said, crossing her arms. "Do you think..."

"That Ruby rubbed off on him." Blake said.

"Maybe."

"Oi, we're still cooking back here." Rani said.

"Where's my gran?" Santiago asked.

"This will take a while." Kirika said.

"You'll have to shuffle backwards." Clyde said.

"Oh, yes, okay. Thank you, Clyde." The Doctor said.

Shaft...

"What do you think Jared is up to?" Weiss asked.

"Probably in danger." Ruby said. "We have to save him."

"And is there a limit? How many times can you change?" Clyde asked.

"Five hundred and seven." The Doctor said.

"He meant twelve." Weiss said. "The Doctor can change twelve times. Not that much."

Chapel...

"So, what does a Memory Weave do? I don't recall much about this adventure anyway. Well, tell us." Jared said, looking at the Shansheeth.

"Because I warn you, darling, the memory's going at my age." Jo said.

"You need to remember only one thing." The Shansheeth said.

"And what's that?" Sarah Jane asked.

"The Tardis key." The Shansheeth said.

"The Weave takes the memory out of your head, and makes it real. This device can build a physical key out of your thoughts." Karim said.

"And then, we will have access to the Tardis. The most miraculous machine in creation will be ours." The Shansheeth said.

"No. You can't do that! After the Doctor and I rebooted the fucking universe." Jared said, looking at Karim.

Dormitory...

"What's going on?" Ruby asked.

The hum of the Memory Weave can be heard.

"They've started." The Doctor said.

Chapel...

"No, you can't. Ow!" Jo said, angrily.

This is not a painless procedure.

"Goddamn it. This really hurts!" Jared said, annoyed.

"We have seen so much of death. The Shansheeth have presided over infinite funerals. We see the pain and the suffering again and again and again. But with the Tardis, we can stop this. We can intervene to prevent the loss of life on a universal scale." The Shansheeth said.

"So, you're gonna stop death? Like the Wings of Magius? When they were a thing. Seriously?" Jared asked, raising his eyebrow. "That's your plan."

"It is a noble quest. To halt the endless, endless weeping." The Shansheeth said.

"You're gonna change the whole of history. Touka and Nemu tried that. And they accidentally removed Ui out of existence." Jared said, looking at the Shansheeth. "Along with wrecking Kamihama City."

"That's why creatures like you can't have time machines. Because you'll wreck the entire universe." Sarah Jane said.

"What did I say? Pious." Karim said, angrily.

"Oh yeah? Well, Jared and I would rather be pious than vile. What do you get out of this, Colonel?" Sarah Jane asked.

"A bigger horizon, Miss Smith. The Shansheeth can take me to the stars, because there is nothing left for me here on Earth. Not any more. Accelerate the Weave." Karim said.

Outside the Chapel...

"They've sealed it off. Jo, Sarah, Jared, can you hear me?" The Doctor asked.

Chapel...

"They want the TARDIS key. They have her, the TARDIS. Along with a god forsaken Memory Weave." Jared said, rolling his eyes.

"Too late. Full activation." Karim said.

"Concentrate. Think of the key." The Shansheeth said.

Outside the Chapel...

"We have to try to find a way in." Ruby said.

"There's nothing we can do." Shirabe said.

"She's right." Santiago said. "We need a bulldozer."

"I've got the original here. You can have it if you let them go." The Doctor said, taking out a TARDIS key.

Chapel...

"You let the Doctor inside this room and he will destroy us. Keep going!" Karim said.

"Think of the Tardis." The Shansheeth said.

Memories come into Jo, Sarah, and Jared's minds. The Three Doctors amongst others.

"The key. Remember the key." The Shansheeth said.

"Fight it, Sarah Jane, Jared. Try to think of something else." Jo said.

"I can't." Sarah Jane said.

"Neither can I."

"It's so hard to think of something else..." Jared said, sadly.

Outside the Chapel...

Yang tried punching the steel doors with Ember Celica, "It's not warping. That's a door my fists can't go through."

Chapel...

"The memories coalesce. The key, it takes shape." The Shansheeth said.

"Don't! Don't!" Jo said, terrified.

"I can't stop." Jared said, frowning.

Outside the Chapel...

"What's the plan, Ruby?" Blake asked.

"The Shansheeth are making them remember." Ruby said, her eyes widening.

"Thank you Captain Obvious." Weiss said.

"Don't you see what we have to do, team?"

"Don't know what we have to do." Blake said.

"We have to make them remember too." Ruby said, smiling.

"Opening comms. Sarah, Jo, Jared, can you hear me?" The Doctor asked.

Chapel...

"The key, it's almost ready." Sarah Jane said.

Outside the Chapel...

"Listen to me, the three of you. I want you to remember." The Doctor said.

Chapel...

"We are doing. That's the trouble." Jo said.

Outside the Chapel...

The Groske goes to the control unit.

"No, no, no, no. I want you to remember everything. Every single day with me. Every single second." The Doctor said.

Chapel...

"What's he doing?" Karim asked.

Outside the Chapel...

"Because your memories are more powerful than anything else on this planet. Just think of it. Remember it. But properly. Properly. Give the Memory Weave everything. Every planet, every face, every madman, every loss, every sunset, every scent, every terror, every joy, every Doctor. Every me." The Doctor said.

Chapel...

"I remember." Sarah Jane said.

Sarah Jane and Jo are remembering things from their past. And so is Jared.

Jared's memories...

"Quite right, too. And I suppose, if it's one last chance to say it, Rose Tyler..." Holo-Doctor said, vanishing along with Holo-Jared.

Finally, Ruby and Jared turn a corner and emerge from the service tunnel, only to see with their own eyes that they are far too late.

Jared turned his nanotechnology super suit back to its portable form of dual pistols to use for later. He fell down to his knees with Ruby.

"Penny..." Ruby said, and she begins to cry, the tears fall as she sobs miserably. "Even with your foreknowledge...we couldn't save...Penny..."

"Yeah." Jared said, walking over to Ruby to hug her, and he also started crying. "I tried. I really did. I planned ahead for months. But, I failed."

"Do you believe in destiny?" Pyrrha asked.

"PYRRHAAAAAA!!!!" Ruby said, as the white light envelopes her, spreading out to the Wyvern and Cinder.

"Crap!" Jared said, using the nanotechnology from his super suit to turn the hard copy of Ember Celica into a copy of Elucidator. "You son of a bitch!"

"Get away from her!" Yang said, as mad as Jared.

"No...please..." Blake said, reaching out helplessly, whispering.

Ianto updates the personnel files as Jack packs Owen's personal items. Final logout procedure Dr Owen Harper. Are you sure you want to continue? Yes.

Gwen packs up Toshiko's things. Final logout procedure Toshiko Sato. Are you sure you want to continue? Yes.

"Okay. So, if you're seeing this, I guess it means, I'm, well, dead. Hope it was impressive. Not crossing the road or an incident with a toaster. I just wanted to say, it's okay. It really is. Jack, you saved me. You showed me all the wonders of the universe and all those possibilities, and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Thank you. And Owen, you never knew. I love you. All of you. And I hope I did good." Tosh said, on the monitor.

"Now we carry on." Jack said.

"I don't think I can, not after this." Gwen said.

"You can. We all can. The end is where we start from." Jack said.

"You're my daughter, and we've only just got started. You're going to be great. You're going to be more than great. You're going to be amazing. You hear me? Jenny?" The Doctor asked, and Jenny dies in his arms. "Two hearts. Two hearts. She's like me. If we wait. If we just wait."

"If you die here, it'll mean I've never met you and Jared." River said.

"Time can be rewritten." The Doctor said.

"Not those times. Not one line. Don't you dare. It's okay. It's okay. It's not over for you and Jared. The both of you will see me again. You've got all of that to come. You, Jared, and me, time and space. You watch us run."

"River, you know my name."

"Autodestruct in ten..." The computer said.

"You whispered my name in my ear." The Doctor said.

"Nine, eight, seven..."

"There's only one reason I would ever tell anyone my name. There's only one time I could."

"Hush, now." River said.

"Four, three..." The computer said.

"Spoilers."

"Two, one..."

River joins two power cables together, and there is a blinding light.

Chapel...

"No!" Karim said, angrily.

"I remember." Jared said.

"Memory Weave overloading." The computer said.

"I remember." Jo said.

Jared's memories...

"I was going to be with the both of you forever." Donna said, looking between the Doctor and Jared.

"I know." The Doctor said.

"The rest of my life, travelling in the Tardis. The DoctorDonna and Jared. No. Oh my god. I can't go back. Don't make me go back. Doctor, Jared, please, please don't make me go back."

"Donna. Oh, Donna Noble. I am so sorry. But we had the best of times."

"We really did. I even brought you over to ALFheim Online. Something I wanted to do with Rose and Martha." Jared said, sadly. "It really was the best of times super temp, I laughed, I cried. I may never see you again, not like this."

"No." Donna said, crying.

"The best. Goodbye." The Doctor said.

"No, no, no. Please. Please. No. No." The Doctor said, mind melding with Donna and takes her memories away.

In the process of the mind meld, all of Donna's memories of being with the Doctor and Jared goes into the immortality pendant, waiting to be sent back to its host in case of emergencies.

"No!" Donna said, passing out.

Jack cradles Ianto, "It's all my fault."

"No Jack, it's my fault." Jared said, holding the hands of the two Magical Girls near him. "I knew this would happen. I should have stopped it. I should..."

"No, it's not. And Jared, you tried your best." Ianto said, looking at Jack, then at Jared.

"Don't speak. Save your breath." Jack said.

"Jack, I love you." Ianto said.

"Don't. Ianto? Ianto. Ianto, stay with us. Ianto, stay with us, please. Stay with us. Stay with us, please." Jack said.

"Hey. It was good, yeah?"

"Yeah."

"Don't forget me."

"Never could."

"Ianto Jones, back home, you have a shrine dedicated to you." Jared said, laughing a little. "Right near the Torchwood Hub. A little memorial."

"A thousand year's time, both of you won't remember me." Ianto said, frowning.

"Ianto, we will always remember you. I promise. Jack too." Jared said, looking at the coffee boy. "I won't let you down. And I'll keep your niece and nephew safe."

"Ianto. Ianto? Don't go. Don't leave us, please. Please don't." Jack said.

"You will die, and tomorrow your people will deliver the children." The 456 said.

Jack kisses Ianto one last time, and keels over, dead. Jared then looked over at Sayaka and Kyoko.

"Let her in." Johnson said.

"What are you waiting for?" Sayaka asked, and Alice runs to Steven, who was lying on the platform. "A mother lost her son."

Blood is coming from Steven's ears.

"No, no, no, no, no! No! No! Somebody help him. Help him! No, please, no. Why? Why? Oh, please." Alice said, sadly.

Jack and Jared cry.

"Goodbye, Sarah Jane." Barbara said, looking down at the baby, before at the adult version of her daughter. "Goodbye, Sarah Jane."

"Goodbye, Sarah Jane." Eddie said.

"Bye, Dad. I won't forget you. I'll never forget you." Sarah Jane said.

"And there they go." Jared said, sadly. "This was as hard as Rose's dad."

"I know." Ruby said, grabbing Jared's hand. "It's okay."

"You brought us with you. Because you were scared." Jaune said. "And you couldn't confront this on your own."

"Yeah." Jared said. "I couldn't."

"What now?" Ren asked. "Are we gonna watch them die?"

"Yup."

"That's horrible." Ruby said, frowning.

Eddie and Barbara get into the car and drive away.

"I know." Jared said, as Ruby squeezed his hand. "Thanks, Little Red. What do I do to deserve Teams RWBY and JNPR?"

The clouds vanish and the sunshine returns.

"No! Stop them. Stop them! You have denied me! My hunger..." The Trickster said.

"I did nothing. That was my mum and dad saving the world..." Sarah Jane said.

"It's something we can't help doing." Jared said, as he looked at the Trickster. "Them Smiths, and us being huntsmen and huntresses. We help people, and we save the world in the process."

"But you, Sarah Jane Smith, you couldn't do it. I knew you could never do it. And I was assuming Jared could do it, but he could never do it either. He's too grounded with Ruby Rose and Jaune Arc around." The Trickster said.

"You were right though, Trickster." Jared said, smirking. "Sarah and I, we could never send them off. Ruby, Jaune, and I may have lost people close to us. We're reckless separated, but together, we're strong."

"But you didn't count on one thing. They were brilliant. They worked it out, they went by themselves. My mum and dad defeated you." Sarah Jane said.

The Trickster explodes and vanishes with a scream.

"We've got to put things back on track. We've got to leave her." Luke said.

"Can I be of assistance?" A Dalek asked.

"Just shut up!" Jared said, angrily. "Listen to us, okay? Please. The Daleks have no conscience, no mercy, and they don't pity you. You can't hold hands with them and feel their warmth, because they are far from that. They don't know kindness whatsoever, and they can't lift any burden from you. Or share it."

"They are our oldest and deadliest enemy. You cannot trust them." The Doctor said, standing next to me.

"If Hitler invaded hell, I would give a favourable reference to the Devil. These machines are our salvation." Churchill said.

"What's that?" Hibiki asked, hearing a siren sound.

"Oh, the All Clear. We are safe, for now." Churchill said, leaving, followed by a Dalek.

"Jared, we're okay." Miku said, walking towards Jared to comfort him. "We're safe. Are you okay?"

"No." Jared said, sadly. "I don't like the Daleks. They're the total opposite of Hibiki."

"How so?"

"Did you not hear my outburst? They're nothing like her. And I'm gonna prove it. With the Doctor's help."

"I've decided, this is the world I want to go with." Jared said, looking at Kyubey.

"Humanity." Kyubey said. "I see. I don't get you sometimes. Always choosing an outcome you want."

"I want to have adventures. But I want to be grounded with Team RWBY. Cynthia, you win this Pokémon battle."

"Okay." Cynthia said, sending her Pokémon back inside her Pokeball.

"What now?" Lisbeth asked.

A bright light consumed Jared and Lisbeth.

"It's going to be hard, but you can do it, Amy. Tell me about Rory, eh? Fantastic Rory. Funny Rory. Gorgeous Rory." The Doctor said.

"And you can do it too, Madoka. Homura means flame, right? Where you're flaring up passionately or something. Homura's awesome. She does anything for you. She rewound time dozens of times. She's funny and cute whenever she's shy. Her ribbons when her hair is braided." Jared said, looking at Madoka.

"Amy, Madoka, listen to us. Do exactly as we say. Girls, please. Keep concentrating. You can do this."

"I can't." Amy said.

"Neither can I." Madoka said.

"Yes, you can. Both of you can do it." Jared said, leaning against the TARDIS console. "I know you can. We can't help you unless both of you do it. Come on, please. Girls! Madoka Kaname and Amelia Pond! We can still save the memory of Rory Williams and Homura Akemi!"

"Come on, Amy, Madoka, come on, Madoka. Girls, please. Don't let anything distract you. Remember Rory and Homura. Keep remembering. Rory and Homura are only alive in your memory. The two of you must keep hold of them. Don't let anything distract you. Rory and Homura still live in your minds." The Doctor said.

The memory of Rory Williams and Homura Akemi disappeared completely from Jared's mind in an instant. The Tardis comes to a sudden halt.

"You think so?" Cinder asked, noticing Weiss and Jared get knocked back several feet away. "Those two are out of sync. Team wise."

Cinder begins to slowly proceed toward the former heiress and the fanboy while she conjures an obsidian spear.

"No..." Jaune said, watching helplessly while Cinder continues to advance towards Weiss and Jared. "NOOOOOOO!"

"Which one should I kill?" Cinder asked, looking between Weiss and Jared. "You have some attachment towards the Schnee, I assume. Let's do her."

Cinder throws the spear and it impales Weiss through her abdomen. She gasps in shock as everyone stops their fighting and stare in shock as well.

"Son of a bitch! Weiss!" Jared said, looking back at Weiss. "I'm sorry! I was too busy protecting you. That I forgot about Cinder."

The spear then disintegrates as Weiss goes motionless and slumps forwards.

The Pandorica takes off.

River gets a text message, "It's from the Doctor."

"What does it say?" Amy asked.

"Geronimo." River said.

River gets another text message, "And there's one from Jared."

"The hell does it say?" Kyoko asked.

"Bonsai." River said.

"Meteoroid falling, burning, and disappearing, then..." Jared said, saying the Symphogear subtitles that he heard from the wielders. "In the distance, that day, when the star became music...believe in justice, and hold a determination to fist...by shedding many tears, the reality you face is...create a history, with the light God could not know."

The Pandorica reaches the Tardis.

"Can't believe you actually said it all." The Doctor said, looking over at Jared. "And it makes complete sense. When you link them all together."

There is another explosion.

"This will be the day ..." Jared said, letting out tears. "When it's time to say goodbye...and when it falls...let's just live...because the triumph...will be rising...so trust love..."

Everything reverses back to the start of the previous chapter.

Chapel...

"We need that key. What is happening?" Karim asked.

Jared's memories...

"I swear it was dead." Tosh said, as Jared looked down at her.

"It's okay, Tosh." Jared said, happily. "I'm here. So, Owen's hungover, yeah?"

"Yeah. When are you? In your timeline with the Doctor?"

"Oh, I just started. But I can't wait to be with you again. You and the rest of the team."

"Maybe its best that you don't have Teams RWBY or JNPR with you when you see us. Especially since last time."

"What happened last time?" Nora asked intrigued.

"A food fight happened in the Hub. Torchwood was split in half that day. And someone used all of the meal in the lab to wreck it."

"Sorry!" Pyrrha said, sadly.

"Coma, shock, hibernation, anything. What does it look like?" The Doctor asked, and he heard metal clattering nearby. "It's still here." The Doctor gestures to a soldier outside the door to come in and kneel by Toshiko, Jared, Nora, and Pyrrha. Behind a filing cabinet is...a pig? "Hello." The pig runs out on its hind legs. It is wearing a spacesuit. "Don't shoot!"

"On the red corner, it's Team JNPR!" Jared said, standing in the middle with the Monado Shield art up. "And on the blue corner, it's Team RWBY! I want a nice clean fight between all of you. Ah, forget it. Just go nuts!"

"Ahahahaha!" Nora said, in a sing-song voice, while all of Team JNPR are standing atop a tower of tables stacked in a ramshackle manner. "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

"Justice will be swift!" Ruby said, stomping her foot on a table and pointing at Team JNPR. "Justice will be painful!" She crushes a carton of milk in her hand. "It will be delicious!"

"Yeah!" Team RWBY said, raising their fists simultaneously.

"Off with their heads!" Nora said, jumping down from the top of her tower, and the food fight begins.

"Yang! Turkey!" Ruby said, looking at Yang.

"And there goes Yang getting the turkey, as a substitute for her Ember Celica." Jared said, when he watches Yang rolls over to the turkeys and sticks her fists inside them, proceeding to block and punch the melons as they speed toward her. "Blake goes in for the breadsticks to help Yang break the melons. Yang punches the turkeys at Jaune knocking him out."

"Sayaka, this is probably the easiest thing you've ever done." The Doctor said, running towards a control lever. "Hold this down."

"What are you planning?" Sayaka asked, when the TARDIS comes alongside the taxi.

"I'm going to convince Donna to jump into the TARDIS."

"He's being a complete idiot." Kyoko said, as she and Jared are holding both doors of the TARDIS open.

"Yup." Jared said, as Sayaka is holding down the lever. "He is."

Ruby is lowering her hood, smiling sadly downward, "Hey, mom."

"It's okay, Ruby." Jared said, walking towards Ruby, as he looked down at the inscription that reads:Summer Rose-Thus Kindly I Scatter. "Let it all out."

"Sorry I haven't come by in a while. Things have been...well, things have been, pretty busy. Oh, Dad's here, too! He's, uh, you know...Dad." Ruby said, shrugging her shoulders. "He's still teaching at Signal. But he told me that he's going to be on some mission soon. I think he misses adventuring with you." She looks forlornly. "I miss you too."

"You not remembering your mother that well, reminds me so much of my aunt. Who I miss dearly. Talk about our times at Beacon, Little Red."

"Oh yeah." Ruby said, pausing a moment to think. "Haven't gotten kicked out of Beacon yet! So that's cool. I think being on a team with Yang helps. Keep her in line...that was a joke. She's actually a really great fighter! You can tell she's learned a lot from Dad! Oh, so are Weiss and Blake. Oh! They're my teammates! Together, we form Team RWBY! And yes, before you ask, that does cause a lot of confusion. Anyways, I made a bunch of new friends, and then I met some...let's just say, uh, odd teachers."

"Odd as in Port and Oobleck." Jared said, laughing a lot. "I'm one of Ruby's new friends by the way, I'm Jared."

"Oh! We've also stopped some bad guys, too! I guess it's like they say...like mother, like daughter! I still wonder why Ozpin let me into the school early. But uh, I guess he'll tell me one day. You know how he is. It's funny, the more I get to know him, the more he's starting to sound like Uncle Qrow." Ruby said, as a bark alerts her to the ever-adorable Zwei and the sight of her father, Taiyang Xiao Long, in the trees behind her. "Oh! Looks like Dad's back! I gotta go! He's dropping me and Jared off at Beacon for the tournament match before he goes on his next mission. Wish me luck!"

"You're gonna be great out there." Jared said, as Ruby puts the hood back on and starts to walk away. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm not gonna lose you, or Weiss, or Blake, or Yang. Or Team JNPR. I won't ever leave any of you. Because I don't want to see you guys upset. And it would break my heart."

"I know." Ruby said, turning to deliver one final message to her mother. "It was good to talk."

With that said, Ruby jogs back to her family and Jared as a group of crows fly into the sun to make a very familiar sight.

"This has been a long year." Nagisa said, as she looked down at Kyubey. "What will we do with the Incubator?"

"That thing has caused us all pain and suffering." Kyoko said, using her ring to transform into her magical girl look. "I say we end it here and now."

"Why can't we talk things through with it?" Jared asked, as he walked away for a moment.

"Do you know what each of us went through?" Sayaka asked.

"So what? Let's hear what it had to say."

"What's going on here is not what I had in mind." Kyubey said. "Each of you turned into witches one way or another. A food supply or an energy source."

"That does not give you a right to exist in this world." Jared said, grabbing a gun from Homura. "I've spent years avoiding you. And what you made these girls go through..."

"You want to end it here and now. But I'm not the one you want to kill."

"Yes, you are. Thanos won't come into play for like ten years."

"I can do this." Homura said, walking over to Jared and grabbing her gun back. "With everyone in red alert. I'll be locked up."

Abruptly, Ruby's and Jared's eyes narrow and there's a beat before they open, a dangerous look in them.

"Let's go." Ruby said, her head moves forward and she crouches. Her cloaks arches upward toward her body and Ruby transforms into a swirl of rose petals. The swirl propels itself forward through the air. As it reaches the first Beowolf, Ruby is seen in slow motion, petals behind her, swinging her scythe at the Grimm.

"Oh no you don't." Jared said, knocking the Grimm out, when he shot it down, and Ruby lands on her feet. "You do one, I'll handle the other."

"Right. And, thanks for the save." Ruby said, taking out one Grimm and Jared took out the other.

"Eight against two." Jared said, transforming his bow and arrow into a sword. "That's totally fair."

Moving into the circle of beowolves behind the two of them, Ruby and Jared slash at them, taking out a total of eight before running to attack the ninth.

"Um, why a bow and sword combo?" Ruby asked, when Jared took out the ninth Beowulf.

"Because I love to snipe and go in head on." Jared said, while two more Beowolves put themselves in front of him and Ruby. "I've changed ever since I started traveling with you."

"Oh, if that's what you want. I mean, it's a bit soon. I had so many places I had wanted to take you and Jared. The Fifteenth Broken Moon of the Medusa Cascade, the Lightning Skies of Cotter Palluni's World, Diamond Coral Reefs of Kataa Flo Ko. Thank you. Thank you, Donna Noble, it's been brilliant. You've, you've saved my life and Jared's in so many ways. You're..." The Doctor said, his eyes widening.

"And the penny drops." Jared said, laughing a lot. "It took him two minutes to realize what Donna meant."

"...you're just popping home for a visit, that's what you mean."

"Why did it take him that long?" Hibiki asked.

"I don't know." Jared said, finishing the cup of milk tea.

"How's Kirika and Shirabe?"

"I don't know."

"Ready when you are, sir." Jenkins said.

"What's more, you can give me a lift. Come on. Tsubasa and Maria are there, right? Broken moon of what?" Donna asked.

"But we have to try, if not for us, then for the people we've already..." Ruby said, writing before stopping and crossing out the last few words as she alters her statement. "Then for the people we haven't lost yet."

"Better, I still have loads of adventures to go on." Jared said, and Ruby finishes writing, the note is shown and two tears fall on the page. "With you, with Weiss, with Blake, and Yang. Ren, Nora, and Jaune too. I'm gonna miss Donna Noble a lot overtime, even if I felt like I spent too much time with you."

"I miss you so much. I miss Weiss and Blake too. But I think you'd all be proud to know that I made it to Mistral. All of us did, and we even ran into Uncle Qrow along the way." Ruby said, and she continued saying what she is writing aloud.

Qrow pushes himself over with one arm and grunts while propping up his head with the other hand. Ruby stops writing to check on him.

"Hey, aren't I normally the one saving you?" Qrow asked.

"You saving Ruby? That's my thing!" Jared said, laughing a lot. "I may have lost her in one timeline, in one parallel world. But I'm, I'm gonna save her more than you in this one!"

"Alright then. It's a competition to see who can save my niece more." Qrow said.

Christina is buckling on her harness, "Nothing yet."

"What is she doing?" Ruby asked, looking over at Christina.

"She's doing something incredibly stupid!" Jared said, tossing Ruby more chocolate chip cookies. "I know how much you love them."

"Jared..." Ruby said. "We've gone through four packs of Chips Ahoy already. Why can't I have some milk?"

"Because I left it back in Walnut's."

"You left it with Manaka? A bad chef?!"

Chapel...

"What's happening?" Karim asked.

"Initial target lost." The computer said.

"The device is overloading. Too many memories. Too many." The Shansheeth said.

"Reverse it. Bring that key back." Karim said.

Outside the Chapel...

"Come on, all of you. Tell them, tell them." The Doctor said.

Jared's memories...

"You'll need more than Bluster to beat me." Nanoha said, happily.

"Where would you find a one-legged dog? Where you left him." Rani said.

"Mister Spellman, it's time you faced your punishment." Fate said.

"Hey, what's this? Rani's nicking my material. And Nanoha and Fate are nicking Chuggaconroy's material." Clyde said.

"Stop this. Stop it now." Spellman said.

"From 2008 to present day." Jared said, walking towards Spellman. "This is why I watch Chuggaaconroy. He makes me laugh with all of his bad puns and jokes. I'm not scared. I forgot I had everyone here by my side."

"What's wrong, Mister Spellman? Does the sound of laughter upset you? Does it frighten you?" Sarah asked.

"You will fear me!" Spellman said, and for a moment Spellman is both the ring master and Odd Bob.

"He's getting weaker." Rani said.

"Two fish in a tank. One says to the other, do you know how to drive this?" Clyde asked.

"I guess that he's hot under to collar." Nanoha said.

"What's going on?" Clyde asked.

"You are convicted of multiple offences. Justice will be swift." Tybo said.

"Justice will be painful. It will be..." Jared said, getting a glare from Yui. "Not the time."

"No." Yui said, sadly.

Just as Tybo points his gun at Clyde, Rani, Kako, and Akira, the building shakes.

"It's the nanoforms, they're attacking the building. Run!" Clyde said.

"Go jo go!" Tybo said.

Haresh, Gita, Nanaka, and Akira arrive.

"Let's head back!" Nanaka said.

"Ooo, that'll leave a mark for a while." Jared said, frowning. "Thank god Aura heals our bodies."

Just as Ruby Rose wakes up, the Ursa notices her. It tries to attack her but Yang puts herself between them and gets her midsection chomped on. Yang's Aura shimmers and the Ursa throws her away.

"Yang!" Ruby said, worried.

Finally, Yang activates her Semblance and jumps off against a tree to land a last punch against the Ursa. The Ursa counters with its own claw. The resulting clash blows several trees and Ruby back. The clash ends up snapping the Ursa's arm and both fighters get thrown in the directions they were facing, the Ursa disintegrating while it does so while Yang crashes against a tree.

"Yang!" Ruby said, when she runs over to her sister. "Yang, are you okay? Oh, I didn't know how to help without my scythe! I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay. I've always got your back, sis." Yang said.

The two smile at each other. Jared opened a portal, he entered through it, and it closed behind him.

"Oh, voice locked. So I would just have to say 'show me all visual records of previous TARDIS inhabitants?'" Amy asked. "And I would have to say 'show me all visual records of previous companions Jared had?'"

"No. No, no, no, Jared means voice locked. I would have to say 'show me all visual records of previous TARDIS inhabitants?'" The Doctor asked.

"And I would have to say 'show me all visual records of previous companions I had?'" Jared asked, sipping on the bubble tea.

"Oh, thank you..." Amy said, turning to lean on the railing and look at a monitor.

The TARDIS scanner turned on too. It's of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao Long, Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, Penny Polendina. It then went to the Sword Art Online section with Asuna, Yuuki, Sinon, Silica, Lisbeth, and Leafa. The third section had Madoka Kaname, Sayaka Miki, Kyoko Sakura, Homura Akemi, Mami Tomoe, Nagisa Momoe, Yuma Chistose, Iroha Tamaki, Yachiyo Nanami, Tsuruno Yui, Felicia Mitsuki, Sana Futaba, Momoko Togame, Rena Minami, and Kaede Akino. The fourth section consisted of Nanoha Takamachi, Fate Testarossa, and Hayate Yagami. It finally landed on Hibiki Tachibana, Miku Kohinata, Chris Yukine, Tsubasa Kazanari, Maria Cadenzavna Eve, Shirabe Tsukuyomi, Kirika Akatsuki, and Elfnein.

"No! No! No! No! Oh..." The Doctor said, seeing a picture flash by of past female companions for him on the monitor.

"Oh yeah..." Jared said, looking at the picture flash by of past and current female companions for me on the monitor. "I forgot how many girls I had..."

"Wait, that's us?!" Kirika exclaimed.

"Yeah." Shirabe said, staring at the scanner.

"What are we doing there?" Maria asked.

"Oh Gandalf! Frodo!" Amy said, with her mouth open, impressed.

"Weiss, Yang..." Jared said, letting out a lot of tears. "It's been years on my end?"

Ruby stares with Jared in disbelief at the sight of not only Qrow, but of her older sister Yang and teammate Weiss.

"Years?" Yang asked. "You can tell us later."

Yang approaches her little sister.

"Yang, I... I'm so sorry!" Ruby said, her voice cracking. "I...I should've stayed with Jared, and I should've talked to you more! I'd...I just..." Tears start pouring from her eyes. "I wasn't sure if you wanted me and Jared around and..."

Suddenly, her big sister gives her a strong hug. Ruby's lips quiver, and she looks toward her sister.

"I love you." Yang said, and tears stream from her eyes.

Ruby sobs as she leans into her sister's hug. "I love you too."

"When was the last time you saw us?" Weiss asked, looking at Jared.

Jaune, Ren and Nora enter the room, smiling at the sight of the two sisters embracing each other.

"The same time as you. The Fall of Beacon." Jared said, shrugging his shoulders.

Qrow smiles as well.

Oscar Pine enters the room, "Uh..."

"You're lying." Weiss said. "When was it actually?"

Oscar looks up, seeing Ruby and Yang hugging, and smiles.

"A couple of weeks ago." Jared said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I saw you face off against Beowolves. I also watched Ruby and Yang do hand to hand. I went and saw Blake. I missed you guys."

Weiss smiles as she wipes a tear from her eye, before frowning while looking down, "You did? You watched all of us?"

"I thought I was dying. It was a rough few years."

"Weiss. Jared." Ruby said, happily.

Weiss and Jared lookup, and sees the two sisters open their arms up for them. They smile and eagerly join them in their hug.

"Come on, ice queen. I missed you and Yang so much!" Jared said, excitedly.

Everyone smiles as they watch three of the four Team RWBY members and Jared embrace each other.

"This is really bad!" Felicia said, as smoke is coming off Craig's hand. "What can we do?"

"Craig, what's keeping you here? Think about everything that makes you want to stay here. Why don't you want to leave?" The Doctor asked.

"Sophie. I don't want to leave Sophie. I can't leave Sophie. I love Sophie." Craig said, happily.

"I love you, too, Craig, you idiot." Sophie said, putting her hand on Craig's.

"So Blake, what're you doing here?" Ruby asked, looking at Blake.

"I...I was gonna ask you four the same thing." Blake said.

Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Jared share glances with each other.

"That's...a looooong story." Ruby said.

"Especially after the Fall of Beacon. I've been through a lot. Since the last time we met." Jared said, rubbing the back of his head. "And it's been jammed back into three years. Roughly."

"Well...I'm not going anywhere. Jared, you can explain your stories to me all you want. Yang, Ruby, Weiss, you can too." Blake said.

"That's all that matters." Ruby said, giggling. "That we're all here together. Right?"

Ruby looks to Yang as she says that. Blake briefly looks away with a sorrowful expression on her face.

Yang looks up at her and smiles, "Yeah."

Blake looks back over to them and smiles. Weiss offers a hand out to her, and the cat Faunus eagerly joins in to Team RWBY and their fanboy's first group hug after a long time of being apart.

"Jared, was the last time you really saw us all together at the Fall of Beacon?" Blake asked.

"Yes. It was! There was a Year that Never Was. The Earth got invaded a lot by aliens in 2009. The Doctor regenerated into a man wearing a bow tie. He's literally the spinning image of Ruby." Jared said, grabbing Ruby's hand. "Oh, and I met a woman named Amelia Pond."

It is snowing. Jared is making a snowball.

"When you are here, music is all around. When you are near, music is all around. Open your eyes, don't make a sound." Abigail said, singing.

"Can't believe that worked." Nanoha said, happily.

"What now?" Fate asked, looking around.

"Any ideas?" Hayate asked.

"You three can go home now. I call this mission a success." Jared said, tossing a snowball at Nanoha. "There you go."

The shark glides overhead.

"Hello, my old friend." Sardick said.

"Let in the shadow." Abigail said, singing.

"Let's go." The Doctor said.

"We did it. We did it!" Hibiki said, hugging Jared. "We saved the day!"

"I know, you and Nanoha take all the credit though." Jared said, smirking.

"More like Elfnein takes the credit. Along with Lindy." Tsubasa said.

"They did think of the combination." Fate said.

"Still. Magic and songs." Jared said, smiling. "My favorite things."

"Can we go for some ice cream?" Kirika asked.

"Ice cream?" Miku asked. "Where are we gonna get it?"

"We could find one back on Earth." Maria said.

"God. Ice cream!" Chris said, annoyed. "Why is it always food with Hibiki and Jared?"

"They are gluttons after all." Shirabe said.

"Ice cream. Not a bad idea." Hayate said, smiling.

"I think we're in trouble." Shirabe said.

"That thing is gonna explode." Maria said.

"We can't get them out!" Kirika said, worried.

"What?" Rani asked.

"Our gears. We can't risk using it without hurting any of you guys." Maria said. "So they can't escape."

Chapel...

"I need the key." The Shansheeth said.

"Weave now entering detonation phase." The computer said.

"Shit." Jared said, pacing back and forth.

Things are going bang and starting fires.

"Are you okay?" Weiss asked, nearby.

"I can't unseal the doors. The power line is gone. Argh!" Karim said.

Sarah Jane tries to use her sonic lipstick on the door, "We've drained it. Doctor? Doctor, I can't get out."

Outside the Chapel...

"I can't open it. And we can't punch our way through this." The Doctor said. "With the help of Yang. It could break the foundation of the building."

Chapel...

"No sonic screwdriver or Aqours." Sarah Jane said.

Outside the Chapel...

"It's inside the Tardis." The Doctor said.

Chapel...

"And we can't get in, because guess what? We stopped ourselves getting the key. Oh, that was clever." Sarah Jane said.

"It really was clever." Jared said, sadly. "God, why am I forgetting things as I get older? I'm beyond what I know for Remnant."

"I just want to say, I'm so glad I saw you again. I waited all this time, and it was worth it. Every second. Funny thing is though, Doctor, your and Jared's funerals turn out to be ours with Jared instead." Jo said.

Outside the Chapel...

"The Doctor and Jared's funeral?" Ruby asked, her eyes widening.

Chapel...

"Doctor, Team RWBY, Symphogear, all of you, you'll look after Luke for me, please." Sarah Jane said.

Outside the Chapel...

"Guys, listen! It's the Doctor and Jared's funeral!" Ruby said, groaning. "Ugh!"

"Jared, you said something about Downing Street and the Slitheen." Weiss said, crosding her arms. "Pyrrha, Nora, Rose, and Harriet Jones were with you and the Doctor. Surviving a missile."

Chapel...

"The closet! But instead we're doing it with..." Jared said, walking towards his coffin.

"With a lead-lined coffin!" Jo and Sarah Jane said, at the same time.

They prise up the lids. Jo and Sarah climb in one together and Jared climbs into the other.

Outside the Chapel...

"How long do they have?" Ruby asked.

"Big bang, ten seconds." The Groske said.

"Come on." Maria said.

"Ten..." the Groske said.

Chapel...

"Nine..." the Groske said, nearby.

"Total destruction imminent." The computer said.

The Shansheeth is hammering on the Tardis door.

Corridor...

The Doctor, Team RWBY, the three Symphogear wielders, Sarah Jane's gang, and Santiago take cover.

"Seven, six." The Groske said.

"Hurry up, Gran." Santiago said.

"Five, four, three, two..."

KaBOOM! The fireball blows the doors off.

"What do you mean, the Mona Lisa?" The Doctor asked, looking at Rani.

Chapel...

Anything organic has been incinerated.

"Hello! Anyone out there!" Jared said, inside the coffin he is in.

Ruby and Kirika opened the coffin together, and Jared is sitting in the coffin.

"You are such a trouble magnet." Weiss said.

"Smells like roast chicken." The Groske said.

"Now then. Smith, Jones, and Shay." The Doctor said, opening the coffin lid containing Sarah Jane and Jo. "The coffins were the trap. The coffins were the solution. That's so neat, I could write a thesis. Come on then, you three. Out you get."

Attic...

"Attention. Temporal flux escalating in this vicinity. The Tardis has landed." Mr Smith said.

And parked herself just under the skylight.

"Whoa. It's Bannerman Road. It's like everything moved. I'm never getting used to that." Clyde said.

"Mister Smith, you're in big trouble. Those Shansheeth were bad." Rani said, angrily.

"It transpires that you encountered a rogue element, and the Wide Wing of the High Shansheeth Nest sends apologies." Mr Smith said.

"No way. On top of everything else, you've got a talking computer? That is it. I'm giving up." Santiago said,

Tardis...

"Still the same old Tardis. It doesn't matter what's changed, it still smells the same. No. I've got to say goodbye, or else I'd stay with you forever. Besides, I probably couldn't keep up any more. Get you into trouble with the Time Lords." Jo said.

"Hmm. Yeah, I'd probably better go. You know me, stuff to do." The Doctor said.

"So, we're heading home?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah." Jared said, happily. "I could do with a bit of Remnant."

"What will you do while you're with us?" Blake asked.

"I don't know. It could be anything."

"As long as you stay out of trouble." Weiss said.

"He knows how to keep himself out of it." Yang said, smirking. "As long as we're there."

"It's daft, though, Doctor, because we were both saying, we had this theory that if you and Jared ever died, we'd feel it, somehow we'd just know. But that's just silly, isn't it?" Sarah Jane asked.

"I don't know. Maybe not. Because between you and me, if that day ever comes. I think the whole universe might just shiver." The Doctor said.

Then he gives a start, and they all laugh.

Attic...

"But you should see Japan. It's amazing. It's like eighty percent forest. It goes on as far as the eye can see. It's endless. I believe Jared goes to Japan now and again. I can feel it." Santiago said, looking between Clyde and Rani. "He must have a lot of friends there too. I wonder how much, though."

Jo and Sarah come out of the Tardis, and it dematerialises.

Outside Sarah Jane's home...

"It's exactly like you said. You live over there, you're..." Santiago said.

"Just down there, on the left." Clyde said.

"You save the world, then you just come home."

"The thing is, maybe you could do with a bit of that. See, we're fighting the Slitheen and the Trickster and you're fighting oil barons and factories, but at the end of the day, who's waiting for you?" Rani asked.

"I think you should start another protest. except this time, at your mum and dad. Or they might find that relations with Santiago get decidedly Chile. Let's pretend I never said that." Clyde said.

"That was horrific."

"I'm ashamed of myself."

"You're right, though. Yeah, I think it's time we made some changes." Santiago said.

"Oh, you. You're so beautiful and so gorgeous." Jo said, hugging Sarah Jane, then Rani. "And you, you are so willowy. Yes, you are. Do you know, you are sensational." She finally hugged Santiago. "And you, you are so handsome. And we're so late. Come on. We're off to Norway by hovercraft. Should be fun."

"Easier said than done." Santiago said.

There was Harry. Oh, I loved Harry. He was a doctor. He did such good work with vaccines. He saved thousands of lives. And there's a Dorothy something. She runs that company, A Charitable Earth. She's raised billions. And this couple in Cambridge, both professors. Ian and Barbara Chesterton. Rumour has it, they've never aged. Not since the sixties. I wonder." Sarah Jane said, looking between Clyde and Rani. "But for Puella Magi, there's tons. There's the Puella Magi Holy Quintet. Madoka, Sayaka, Homura, Kyoko, and Mami. They've been defeating Witches nonstop in Mitakihara City. And in Kamihama City, there's a lot of Magical Girls too. There's three Magical Girls who used to live in Azalea house. They moved somewhere else. There's Touka, Nemu, and Ui, working on fixing the mess they made. There's the KMR triangle consisting of Kaede, Momoko, and Rena. Those three have some fights sometimes, but they still get along. Team Mikazuki Villa, consisting of Iroha, Felicia, Sana, Tsuruno, and Yachiyo. They're working with the disbanded Magius. Consisting of Touka, Nemu, Ui, Mifuyu, Tsukasa, and Tsukuyo. On fixing things in Kamihama City."

"That'll be us, one day." Clyde said.

"Still out there, fighting." Rani said.

"Echoes of the Doctor and Jared, all over the world. With friends like us, they're never going to die, are they?" Sarah Jane asked.
