The long awaited day has finally arrived, the day of the sports festival.

Yumi woke up early as usual to do her training but she pushed herself a little harder today because she's nervous... this reminded her of the grand magic games. 'Oh no! The grand magic games! We need to hurry back to Earthland! It's going to start in another two months or so!'

Yumi then went to change and mentally prepare herself for this festival.

Everyone was in the waiting room, they were all nervous as this is a good opportunity that they cannot lose. "I wanted to wear my hero costume..." Mina whined, sad that she didn't get to show off her cute hero costume. "They said it wouldn't be fair." Yumi replied, as she was putting her gym shirt over her own tank top. Her tank top is fire-resistant so in-case she were to use her fire magic, she would have a tank top to cover herself.

She wrapped Natsu's scaly scarf around her neck, as she readied herself. Iida came bursting through the door, "Is everyone ready? It's almost time to go!" He announced. The tension in the room is so thick it could be cut with a knife, everyone started to feel even more nervous and excited at the same time.

Todoroki walked towards Midoriya, "Midoriya, looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger then you." He declared. Midoriya nodded in response. "But you're being favored by All Might, I'm not going to question that but, I will beat you." He added, as he left the waiting room.

'This is intense... I wonder if Midoriya is feeling alright?' Yumi thought to herself.

"The first year students will now enter the stadium! We have the hero course class 1-A!" He annouced. 1-A walked into the stadium and some were a little intimidated by the crowd. "There's a lot of people..." Yumi commented. Ochako nodded her head, "It's kind of nerve-wreaking but I know we will all do well!" Ochako encouraged.

This made Yumi feel a little better and a little more confident. "Then we have the hero course class 1-B! Next is the ordinary course C, D and E! And support F, G and H is here! And the management course I, J and K!" Present-mic announced, as the rest of the students walk in.

Midnight, the 18+ hero, took the small stage. "Student representative 1-A, Bakugou Katsuki!" She announced as Bakugou walk towards the stage. "Eh? Bakugou-kun?" Yumi questioned. "He was first in the entrance exams after all." Mina answered. Yumi nodded her head in understanding.

Bakugou stood in front of the mic, "I pledge... that I'll be number one." He announced confidently. All the 1-A students thought in unison, 'I knew he would say that!'

The students did not react well, some starting shouting insults and some rolling their eyes in annoyance. Yumi giggled, "It's so him." Ochako nodded, "One day, we would be the most hated class... Actually we already are." She added, in which they laughed at her remark.

Midnight took back the mic, "Let's get started right away! Many drink their tears here! The preliminary event is going to be..." She said as she looked at the screen. The screen showed choices of the events available and rolled to pick, it landed on obstacle race. "It's the obstacle race! All eleven classes will participate, the course is approximately four kilometers around the stadium! You are free to use your quirks!" She explained.

"Now! Take your place!" She announced as the students quickly made their way to the starting point. As the three lights went off, the students started running. The starting hallway is very narrow so it was very crowded and has little space to move.

'I gotta get out of here fast!' Yumi thought to herself as she channel her wind magic to form a wind barrier around her as she ran past the crowd. Todoroki froze everyone's legs and the floor, then he skated past them 'Ice is no problem to me!' Yumi channeled her fire magic to her feet, effectively melting the ice.

She used her sky dragon slaying magic to push her off the ground and she used it to fly and control the wind around her, she was trying to take over Todoroki. Then, Bakugou used his explosions to catch up, "I won't let you get your way! You half and half bastard!" He shouted as he caught up in a second.

Then, after a little time into the qualifying event, they spotted robots. Mineta was the first one to get hit by the robots. Todoroki froze them all in one-shot, then he skated past them. A few people saw the opening and wanted to follow Todoroki, but Yumi noticed that the robots were frozen in a weird position and that it would collapse soon.

"Wait! Watch out!" She shouted as she used wind to push them back and away from the robots. Like she predicted, the robots fell. "Thanks a bunch for the help Yumi!" Kirishima thanked. "No problem!" Yumi replied as she dodged one of the robots, "This is touching my sore spots! They remind me of dorma anim!" Yumi mumbled to herself as she got a little annoyed.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" She attacked the robot that was coming for her, a beam of fire hit the robots head on and it melted a hole straight through them. Her classmates, who hasn't seen the full extent of her magic/quirk were surprised.

She smiled as she went on ahead, Todoroki and Bakugou were already fighting for the first position. She saw Todoroki cross the ropes by icing it so she followed him and did the same, 'Thanks for the idea, Todoroki-kun.'

Then, she reached the minefield. Todoroki and Bakugou were still fighting and she looked behind and noticed that the other students are starting to catch-up, Midoriya was doing something with the piece of metal from the robots.

'Well, play time is over.' Yumi thought to herself. She launched an attack at the two when they are not paying attention to her, "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" They weren't paying attention to Yumi and were blown away by the force of the attack.

"Sorry Todoroki-kun, Bakugou-kun. But I gotta win this." Yumi said as she ran past them while avoiding the landmines. "Damn it! Extra! Come back here!" Bakugou shouted in anger. Then, Midoriya came flying with the piece of metal. Yumi thought she dodged he but Midoriya pulled her down with him.

She quickly balanced herself and boosted her speed by using her fire magic as to increase her speed and wind to speed her up. "We have the first winner! Yumi Dragneel!" Present-mic announced. Midoriya got second place, Todoroki came third and Bakugou came fourth.

A small girl with blue hair looked up at the giant screen, 'I finally found you! Yumi-san!' She thought to herself as she carried her exceed and ran along with the arctic fox over to the UA stadium.

Midoriya approached Yumi, "Wow! I haven't seen your quirk in action, it's amazing!" He complimented her. A light blush grazed her cheeks as she isn't used to compliments or probably she would never be used to compliments. "You're incredible too! You think really quick on your feet, no one would ever thought that a piece of metal from the robot can be so useful!"

Midoriya blushed at her compliment. She wanted to congratulate Todoroki and Bakugou but they were upset and she didn't want to seem like she's rubbing it in so she left them alone. The students started to flood in and after a while, there were 40 participants.

"Nice job making it back here, we now have 40 participants for the next event which is.... calvary battles!" Midnight announced happily. "Midoriya-kun, what is cavalry battle?" Yumi questioned, as she didn't attend the UA entrance exams.

"Ah! It's a team battle, four players form a team while three carry the rider. There will be points assigned and you try to steal other team's banners." Midoriya explained. Yumi nodded in understanding, "Well, that's cool." She commented.

Midnight pointed at Yumi, "Yumi Dragneel, who got the first place in the qualifiers, is worth ten million points!" Midnight announced. Yumi suddenly felt like she was in a room filled with predators, everyone's gazes seemed so hostile. 'Well, shit' Yumi thought to herself.

"You have 15 minutes to form your teams now!" Midnight announced as everyone start to form teams. Most people avoided Yumi as there was literally a target on her back, by everyone, and they were not going to risk it. 'At this point, I'm not gonna be in a team.' Yumi sighed.

Then someone approached her, "Hey! Stupid extra, come to my team." He shouted. Yumi immediately recognized him with his colorful use of the language. Yumi pointed at herself, "You sure?" She asked.

A tick mark appeared on Bakugou's head, "If I said you're in my team then you're in my team! No questions asked!" Bakugou shouted, angry. Yumi smiled, "Thanks Bakugou-kun." She thanked, as everyone was avoiding her but he wanted her to be in his team.

"Whatever!" He said with a scowl. You followed him to the rest of his team, "Eh? Kirishima-kun? Mina?" Yumi asked. Mina cheered, "Yay! Yumi, we're in the same team!" Yumi smiled, "It's nice to have people you're familiar with in a team."

"So, who's gonna be the rider? Yumi or Bakugou?" Kirishima asked. Yumi was fine with either position, she's here to win so that her friends can easily find her if everyone is talking about her. Bakugou thought for a while, "Yumi can be the rider." He said. Yumi was a little taken aback with his choices, she thought he would want to be the rider.

"Okay, I'm fine with anything," Yumi replied, then they started to discuss their strategy. "As long as I don't touch the ground I can do anything?" Yumi clarified, in which Mina nodded her head in response to her question. "I can control the wind to fly and stay in the air for a while so I think that's advantageous," Yumi said.

"So, pinky at the right flank, I'm on the left and shitty hair is in the middle and Yumi on top." Bakugou announced. Mina nodded but replied, "This is unfair Bakugou, how come you call all of us with stupid names while Yumi gets called by her name!" She said while pouting. "None of your business pinky." Bakugou replied, annoyed.

"Time's up! Get in your places, it's time to start!" Midnight announced. Yumi started to get on top of them, 'Let's win this guys!" Yumi cheered as she put on the headband on the forehead.

"Let's start, the battle royale!" Present-mic announced.
