Hailey's POV

I sat under a coconut trees with my arms around my legs and my head buried in them.

My thighs were wet from crying and the scene I had seen earlier couldn't stop playing over and over in my head.

My nails dug tighter in my skin when I remembered how his....

I don't even want to talk about it.

I felt someone tapping my back.

I knew it was Andre and I wasn't going to take it easy on him.

"What is problem, after I saw you kis-"I stopped talking and my mouth opened.

My besties were looking at me with surprised expressions and they sat beside me.

"Hailey who are you talking about?"Gwyneth asked.

"Nothing"I wiped my tears with the back of my hand and faked a smile.

"Seriously Hailey.You can't fool us we've been besties for a lot if years now"Raven added.

"I know something is wrong"Adelaide said.

"Tell us Hailey"Catherine pleaded.

"Ok I'll tell you.I saw-I saw..."I paused and tears fell down my face.

"What did you see?"Adelaide asked eargerly.

"A monster?"Raven joked.

"Shhh"Catherine told her.

I laughed a little.

"I saw Andre kissing J"I said

"Wait.....do you mean your cousin?"

"Yes"

"How dare he?"Catherine stood up but I held her hand.

"Don't stop me Hailey.Why did he do that to you?"She asked

I shrugged my shoulders.

"I am not surprised,that's how he is.A player"Raven said as she looked at her polished nails.

"Its ok girl,we are here with you"Gwyneth said

"Thanks guys.You're the best"

I hugged them tightly and I forgot about Andre.

After we stopped hugging we decided to talk about ourselves.

"Hey we totally forgot to remind Hailey that we were about to cut the birthday cake and open her presents together"Adelaide reminded us.

"I guess we'll have to talk about ourselves later"Catherine said.

"Let's go"I told my besties

We all stood up and dusted the sand of our scarf.

I cleaned my face and faked a smile before we went to the main event.

"The birthday girl is coming"A woman in a white dress said in the microphone.

All eyes were on me and I waved and smiled at the people who were mentioning my name.

A huge cake was placed on a table in front of the stage.

Waiters and waitresses served the gusets with drinks and a table for fruits was crowded with students.

My besties and I held the knife togethers and dragged it through the cake.

The guests began to cheer and I told a waitress to share the cake amongst the guests.

Catherine went to dance with Walter,Raven went to dance with Dennis and Adelaide and Gwyneth danced together while i decided to go to the fruit and chocolate fountain.

I dipped two sticks of strawberries, blue berries and banana in chocolate and put it on a plate.

I took a bite of the chocolate banana and two people walked to the fountain.They were wearing the same top,beach bra,hat,flip-flops,knickers and sunglasses.

I jealoused the dress they were wearing,the way they were laughing and chatting with each other and the way they looked hot.

I was the birthday girl but these girls by passed me in the way they dressed.

They dipped their fruits in the chocolate fountain and tasted it I was just about to ask them who they were when one took of the sunglasses.

Nerd Xoey?!!How could she look so hot when she could barely afford to buy such an expensive dress.

Nobody had to tell me I knew if Xoey was there Ida would be there too.When the other girl took off her sunglassess, I was right it was Ida.

I felt so jealous even more now that I found out it was the two nerds.I know Ida's parents are billionaires but Xoey could not afford to such clothes.

I wanted to ruin their dress.An evil thought came into my mind.

I filled another plate with chocolate.When I was passing by them,I tilted the plate and spilled the chocolate on Ida's dress.

I almost got away when someone grabbed my hand.

I turned my head to my shoulders length and I saw Ida staring at me.

I twisted my arm,to release her grip but she only tightened her grip.

"Hailey? Oh I forgot how can I forget it will always be you. Now my dress what do you plan on doing next Ms Asgot"She told me.

"Let go of my hand nerd"

"Why did you do this"

"Let go of me.Dumb ass nerd"I shouted

She didn't leave my hand so I punched her nose like she did to me. She let go of my hand and I stood there watching Xoey as she helped her helpless friend up.

I fetched another plate with chocolate and poured it on Ida before she got back on her feet.

She was covered in chocolate;from her hair to her white short knickers.

I laughed extremely hard that my ribs began to hurt and tears were falling from my eyes.

When I opened my teary eyes,Ida was staring at me angrily with a plate of chocolate in her hand.All eyes were on us now.

Someone lifted me and the plate of chocolate pooled on the sand.

"Madam please it's my duty to protect you"one of my body guards told me in a hoarse voice and carried me away.

I could hear the whispers of students talking about me.

"Let go of me"He put me down.

"It is my duty to protect you"He told me.

"How did you get here?"

"That doesn't matter now"

"I'll be with my besties"

"Ok ma'am but let me escort you"

"No I can look after myself.I'm eighteen"

"Ok ma'am if you say so"

Ida's POV

"Let's go.You need first aid"Xoey told me as she helped me on my feet.

I covered my bleeding nose with my hands and we passed through the gossiping crowd and went to where my car was parked.

Xoey grabbed some towels from my car booth and handed them to me.

I coverd my bleeding nose with the tissue

"Girls like her always get away with everything"I told xoey

"They will.....but not forever"

"I think I have some spare clothes in my bag please get them for me"

"Ok. Do you have a first aid box "

I gave her the keys to my car and she brought out my bag.

" No i don't. Thank you.I'll go and get some place to change and watch my bleeding nose.I'll be back very soon"

"Here are my car keys.Please don't misplace them"

"Don't worry I won't go anywhere.I'll sit in your car and wait for you if you don't mind"

"No I don't mind.I'll go now"

"Ok"

I went to where we bought our drinks and asked the man if I could get somewhere to change my clothes and he told me that I could change in the hotel ahead.

I thanked him and went to the hotel and booked a room since the receptionist told me I couldn't use their bathroom.

The bathrooms were in the bedrooms and I paid to spend a night there.

I got some cotton and methylated spirit from one of the drawers and I looked after my nose.The cut wasn't so deep so there was no need for me to wear a band aid.

I got a warm shower and put on my long red dress and red flats.I tied my hair in a ponytail and left .

"Xoey I'm back"I told her and she rose from her seat.

"It's late can you drive me hone"

"Sure"

It was five o'clock when Xoey got home and I waved her.

I drove back to the beach where Hailey's party was still going on.

I had forgot to give her the gift I took so much time in making.I sneaked to the stage where all her presents were and dropped my present on the huge pile.

I decided to enjoy the cool breeze and get the umbrella and mats I left near the waters.

I took off my flats and dug my feet into the warm sand.The sun was setting and the sky was bright orange and the breeze was cool.

I stopped in my tracks when I saw Hailey and Catherine sitting on my mats.

My blood was boiling and my face turned red but I didn't move but instead I stayed at my spot and listened to their conversation.

"Who ever was sitting here the person must have been enjoyingthe breeze here"Catherine said.

"They also left their things here.How lucky we are"Hailey said as she propped an elbow on the mat.

"I'm really sorry Andre cheated on you"Catherine said.

"It's ok.Let's talk about something else"

"Do you remember when we where in third grade and I was new at your school.Do you remember when I got laughed at because my fashion sense was poor and because I had freckles and I wore braces on my teeth"

"Yeah I remember that day.You looked like a total dork"

"Yes I know.That's was until I met you,Raven,Adelaide and Gwyneth"

"I can't belive this is now you Hailey aka Popular girl and beauty queen"

"I used to be a dork at that time.That was the old Hailey.The dork.The one who was afraid of everything and everybody"

"Do you remember when that girl bully ate all your snacks and you came crying to me"

"Yes I remember,and I also remember when fell in Mrs.Love's dog poo"

Catherine laughed.

"Yeah I do remember.Your face was covered in poo and you had to clean your face at the latrine"

"It was all because I didn't lace my shoes"

"Hailey let's go we have loads of presents to open"
