Chapter eighteen

Xoey's POV

"Did you have fun"my mother asked me as she packed the kitchen utensils into a box.

"Yes mom"

"Go to your room and change now.We'll leave first thing tomorrow"

"Ok mom"

"And when you're done can you come down to prepare supper.I told Dianna to pack your stuff"

"Thanks mom"

"Hurry"

"Ok"

I climbed up the stairs and opened the door to our room.Our room had boxes and suitcases all over.I jumped over each box and saw Dianna sleeping soundly on my bed.

She must have been tired and decided to get a rest.

I went to the bathroom quickly and got a shower and changed into my pajamas.

I cleared the mess by arranging all the boxes in front of my wardrobe.Dianna was still asleep and I went downstairs.

The kitchen cabinets were empty,only the foodstuffs in the fridge remained as if there was many.

I opened the fridge and took out the last carton of milk,and  chicken breast.

"Mom there's not enough food stuffs just a half carton of milk"I shook the carton to be sure"and one chicken breast"I told my mother who was busily putting the mowing machine into a box.

"Do you need help mom?"I asked her when I saw that she couldn't lift the machine.

"Yes"she answered

"I'll be right there"

I helped my mother lift the mowing machine into the box

"That will do for now until the moving van arrives"she told me as she clapped the dirt off her hands.

"Mom"I changed the topic

"Yes"

"I was telling you that there'sonly half a carton of milk and one chicken breast"

She scratched her hair and looked behind me.

She walked to the counter and examined the milk by shaking it"I think this will do"She began"I haven't been paid yet but I'm sure that I have a little money in my purse to buy some cereal"she put the milk down and looked at me"because you girls finished it in a couple of days"

I giggled and responded"Yes mom you know we love it"

"I'll be going to the Mart before they close"She took her purse from the dinning table and tugged it under her arms.

"Look after your sister I'll be right back"

She opened the door and the cold breeze swept into the room.

She waved me before she shut the door.

I sat in a dinning chair and waited for her to arrive.Mom returned with two boxes of cereal.

"Some cereal and milk will do for the night"She blurted out she took out three bowls

"Go and call your sister.We'll leave first thing in the morning"

Andre's POV

I parked my car in the parking lot and took the elevator to my apartment.

I threw myself lazily on the couch and removed my shirt.The lights suddenly came on and I covered my eyes with my hands.

"Who's there?"I asked exasperatedly

"Its Beth"A familiar feminine voice said.

I blinked continously and opened my eyes in full length to stare at her.

"Hey Beth"

Beth was wearing a tight yellow jumpsuit with a pair of yellow heels and her hair was styled into a curly way.

"Where have you been?"she spat

"At a party"

"You should have told me,I would have gone with  you"

"That wasn't neccessary,it was one of my team mates throwing a party"I lied

"If you say so"She agreeed simply

"So what do you have for me"She continued.

She modelled slowly,swaying her heavy hips as she split her legs into two and sat on me.

I raked my brown hair backward and stared into her black eyes.

She placed her hand on my chest and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

She looked at my lips,hungrily as she pulled her soft lips closer to mine.

I gripped her waist harder and put my tongue in her mouth.

She threw her head back and her brunette hair flipped behind her.

My hand reached for the sleeves of her dress and pulled them revealing her bra.

You're lying.You're lying.You've always been lying to me.How could you?I've always been by side and this is how you repay me by cheating on me?

Hailey's word came flooding in my mind.The guilt,the shame and embarrassment  I felt was a weird.

"I can't.Not today"

"What!"Beth shouted.

She pulled the sleeves of her dress on her shoulders and stared at me in disbelief.She sat on the carpet and looked at me.

"What happened to you?"
