Chapter 5

Some douche was speeding and they almost hit the bus.

I fell into the seat in front of me and hit my nose--again. Maybe I'm just prone to face injuries. My reaction time was super slow for that. I hope not too many people have seen that...

"A-are you okay?!" Haruhi's ears were flushed red.

I pushed myself back up in my seat. "Ow..yeah, I'm okay."

I stood up and asked if everyone else was okay. Everybody else was alright and uninjured, except for the few people that had fallen out of their seat. Not long after everyone else was settled down again, the bus continued its route. My heart took a while to calm down though. That could've ended really bad. Would've been a great coincidence if Haruhi had run to the same bus that caused him injuries. Ugh...wait let me stop thinking negatively. I don't need karma whooping my ass more than life itself does.

Haruhi and I got off our stop and walked to the train station a few blocks down. We silently waiting for the train's arrival while we were both on our phones.

"Hey, Saito." I turned around and saw Zaira. I put my phone back in my pocket. "Oh, hey Zaira...quick question." "I'm listening." I meant to ask her this yesterday but um...other things took place.

"If Sia is the vice-leader, then who's the actual leader of the SRC? I haven't heard of him or seen him, at least I think so." "Ryan? He's out sick, so you probably won't see him for a while. He's been informed of your arrival to the SRC, so he might pull you out of class to talk to you soon." "Alright...Is he out often?" "Yeah, he tends to get sick easily and very often." My phone vibrated in my pocket. I pulled it out to see that Anya had texted me.

"Felt sick, so I was sent to the nurse. I'm gonna give you my sickness, loser." I texted her back that she's a loser and that I'm gonna lock myself in my room. After that, the train came and we all got on. After a couple of minutes, the train stopped near the next bus that we have to catch.

Zaira decided to stop at a store nearby for some snacks to eat while she was at school. Haruhi and I got onto the next bus with Zaira a little while later.

If she had taken any longer we would've missed the bus. After I got on- a little hesitant from what happened before on the last bus- it only took a few more minutes to the stop that's closest to the school. We got off the bus and walked a block and a half to reach the school.

Around 15 minutes later we had made our way to school.

"Oh!" Zaira clapped her hands once and turned around to look at me. "I don't remember if I told you already, but we have an SRC meeting during the first period. I'll text you when." Wait, she has my number? Since when... I need to control who I give my number to 'cus I don't remember giving it to her. Maybe I did it a while ago.

She quickly turned around and ran into the school.

My phone vibrated in my pocket ."...Shiroe?" Did I say that aloud? That's embarrassing. I wonder why my first thought wasn't Zaira, right after she said she'd text me. Ha, I guess I could see why people would think we're together. I don't want a man-whore as my partner though. I took my phone out and checked the notifications.

"...It's an unknown number. Seriously, how do people keep getting my number? I have so many fans..." I clicked on the notification and it took me to my messages. I stared at the message for a while. I was so confused to the point that my face decided to express it on its own.

"Who...who is this? Why would someone randomly text me from an unknown number to shoot their shot and not give me any leads to who they are?" People are weird. Who tries to come at somebody anonymously? Don't act boldly if you're not even bold enough to reveal who you are. It's probably not somebody serious anyway. Nobody wants me lol.

The only thing the message says is 'Meet me behind the school, I have something to tell you~ xoxo' I texted back, asking who they were and what class they were in. I didn't really care about how they acquired my number. If they were sketchy I'd block them. Simple as that. Actually, they're already sketchy, but I'll wait.

I waited a while before shoving my phone back in my pocket. There still hasn't been any signs of Shiroe since that day after school. He's probably drunk at someone else's house or something. Shouldn't be anything to worry about. I hope. His phone is probably off... I'll just go to his house after school...Or maybe I could stop acting like I'm his girlfriend. I have too many conflicting feelings about this. Am I just an overly worried friend or am I doing too much? Wish I could tell.

I dragged myself into the school and stopped by my locker. Once I opened it I saw a note. "Great. I have a stalker. They know my number and locker." I picked up the note and read it. It was only a reminder about where to meet the person and at what time. I didn't care though. It could be a set up for all I know. Isen could be plotting to get revenge for putting his lover in a hospital. Not that I care about that either, just saying. Although it does seem like he'd be going through extra work just to hurt me. I mean, we go to the same school, what's this elaborate plan for? Hm... Isen has the mental capacity of a grape, I don't think it's him. Even if it was, someone must really hate me for them to give Isen my number.

I went upstairs and walked to my class. I was late as usual. After homeroom, I have Ms. Rimes. God, I hate this teacher.
