Part VI

Hearing those words from her lips irked him, but he didn't want to show it. He lifted his eyes to look at her then he decided to answer her with a question of his own "Please tell me... How can I stop loving you?"

"I- I don't know…"

"Does why I love you matter?"

She nodded.

"And why is that, miss? We're strangers, just treat me like someone that admires you from faraway and let's call it a day."

"Are you angry with me?"

"Nah, I'm actually angry with myself. It's my fault. I fell in love with you, forgetting how very different we are from each other. Don't worry about it, though. As much as you do, I also hope one day I can stop having 'feelings' for you."

"What caught your attention? Tell me…"

"I wish I knew…"

"You're not telling the truth! Is it my body? It has to be that right?"

"I've had three one-night stands with different girls this week, hoping I'd get you out of my mind, but you still haunt me."
