Chapter 9: [Pills Effects]

Listening to Lily emulates him for his creepy laughing made him stop his laugh. Even though her voice was cute but the way she copied him was also creepy, which made Ian shudder.

He didn't think the over the top laugh was creepy. And when he heard Lily's laugh it made him blush from embarrassment. Thankfully he was alone with Lily being an exception.

"Lily was my Lucky star." Ian honestly said. He was being honest. If not for Lily maybe he will lie on his bed for half a year.

Although it's just half a year, being a cripple when you're just reincarnated was taxing in his mind.

And Ian already forgot that it was Lily's fault why he is almost paralyzed.

『Hehehe~ Thank you for the praise masta~』

Ian smiled at her happy reply. He thinks that she is so adorable. 

Ian promised himself that he will find a suitable body or anything that can display her true form with the help of the system.

He didn't know how powerful the system was since he just obtained it. But he knows that it's a sovereign system just from the items alone that were from the other planets in the vast universe.

And that's already ample for him to believe that there's a way for him to do it and that's plenty enough.

Opening his Inventory he saw 6 items occupying each cube.

Ian immediately extracted the Pills out of his Inventory. A sudden fragrance can be smelled when the three pills appear. The smell of nature that comes from one of the pills makes his body cells awaken temporarily from its slumbers. The feeble feeling was gone for a moment that made him move his hand momentarily. 

But that momentary reaction was sufficient for him since the implication was obvious. If the smell alone can make him control his hand for an instant then what will happen if he seizes the whole pills that have the size of a coin.

Thinking about it makes Ian want to immediately devour the green pill that emits the smell, the other pills also have their different fragrance and effects but due to his body not properly working, Ian can't feel the impact it has, unlike the green pill. But from the description alone he more or less knows their results on his body.

When he was about to swallow the green pill he heard Lily's voice that made him stop on his track. The pill was just an inch away from his mouth when he heard Lily but it still made him stop.

Retracting his opened mouth out of the pill he asked.

" Sorry Lily, can you repeat what you've just said since I didn't hear it."

Although Lily was talking in his head, his full focus was on the pills and with the distraction of the smell of the pills that made his brain filter out what Lily was saying, he just stopped because of Lily's voice not because of her word that he didn't understand.

『Lily said to Masta that swallowing the three pills simultaneously is more beneficial for Masta body since the pills were nourishing each other and make the effect one hundred percent for sure without impurities lingering on Masta body, but if Masta just takes one pill at a time it only has fifty percent that makes the rest of the properties gone to waste and leaving impurity that was on the pills.

Having the strength and recovery pills can leave impurity on the consumer's body but the cleansing pill being eaten after the other two makes the problem solve.

Just what the name implied Cleansing pill can clean the impurities on the body making it glow like a newborn baby's without filth on its body and it can also grant immunity for the body.

But it's only effective on a mortal body since it won't work if the one who takes it is a cultivator. There are similar pills with the same effects but entirely different ingredients used for concocting it.

And if mortals attempt to eat the pills for the cultivator then for sure they will blow up just from the energy alone. That's why the different evaluation of different pills is important. Since no one wants to explode from the wrong pill they take.

So Lily wants Masta to consume the three pills simultaneously for masta to benefit from its effects.

Ian was stupefied he almost ate the pill from his hastiness. Thankfully Lily was with him or else…

Looking at the three Pills that were swirling in front of him, he was thinking if he could swallow the three of them simultaneously. Ian guided the three pills in his mouth slowly, since the tree won't fit if they are swirling on each other he let the pills lined with green in front and blue on the back.

Ian was waiting to be choked from how big the pills were but surprisingly the pills became liquid after it reached his mouth. The pills liquidized like magic without touching his tongue and directly entered his throat.

At first, Ian didn't feel anything; he became worried, worried that the pills didn't work. He wants to ask Lily, but sudden drowsiness envelops him that makes him faint directly.

Morning came but Ian, who was in the house still didn't wake up unlike the people in his surroundings houses that were already bustling from the noise of other people.

Ian was still sleeping on his bed comfortably and light sometimes illuminated his body. Every time a light glow makes his body color change to being red and aside from the skin, a black substance was also extracted from his body.

All over his body was covered in slimy black substances that even his hair was not an exception that you can see the dangling black substance.

After five minutes black substances stopped coming out of his body but his skin color still didn't change back to its former brown color.

Another five minutes passed and everything changed back to normal except for his body being bathed by the slimy black substance with a horrendous smell it's exuding.

You can't see anything different with the black substance still on his body but once all of it was removed it's a sight to behold because of how effective the pills are.
